Hi I went to this temple today on Diwali with family and friends to celebrate Diwali with lot of joy. While going we took bunch of crackers to the temple to fire them. We didn’t know that was not supposed to take them there and buy them only in temple. But we were here last year also the prices of the crackers was too pricey comparatively outside fireworks store. They made a scene that we should not bring the crackers inside and the people who spoke to us was very rude and made them throw the fire crackers in the dumpster worth of 150$ with the help of security. There is no humanity. At least they could have given back the crackers to us. So we all went with disappointment without celebrating Diwali. Sad that people became so commercial in celebrating festivals. Writing this review because at least few of the people will be aware what’s happening. I wish I could give 0 stars on celebrating events here and making them cash.
First Temple where the priest didn't acknowledge me and when I tried to acknowledge him he looked at me with a clear message of unwelcome. I prayed at every alter and when I left he somewhat nodded his head and didn't offer any fruit. THE ONLY TEMPLE I HAVE BEEN AT WHERE I WASN'T OFFERED ANY FRUIT. .. it get a star only because the alters are so Beautiful. And it was Ma Kali who came to me as a little white girl who from the deep South had only access to fear based dogma. So it is unfortunate unnecessary karma to deny Our Gods all their children being welcomed to Their Temple. And.... They had an unusual amount of donate generously with guidelines on how much to have to donate. . Hmmm I'm here to praise our DIVINITY not keep them in brand name clothing and high end vehicles
I recently visited the Ekta Mandir Temple and had the pleasure of trying their new Ekta Annapurna canteen. The temple is already a beautiful and peaceful place to visit, but the addition of the canteen only makes it better. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Masala Dosa and Chana Batura. The tea was also perfectly brewed and a great complement to the meal. It's worth noting that the canteen is only open on weekends only, but it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating.
This is for the management - they charge 10$ parking tickets and the parking space in uneven. I met a few people who expressed trouble around this and one lady broke her ankle walking through the uneven parking. This is insane. At least provide a better facility when you are charging money.
Best temple of Phoenix area. We went to celebrate holika dahan here and they organized it very well here after the Surya Narayan pooja. Enough parking area and small playing area for kids. Along with Hindu gods here we have Jain gods as well.
Beautiful Temple! Wish they opened at 0700hrs. I enjoy praying here but I wish the flooring was a little cleaner. I always get food crumbs while in the prayer area. Lights are amazing and bright. I enjoy the lighting renovation. Thanks
Nice and Calm place. Nice to seat and meditate for long time. Garden have some precious plants like Peepal, Bell Patra, Curry leaves, Mango..nice to see them here. Kids have play area. They celebrate Diwali with crackers.
Visit the temple about 2 years ago. Was here in town visiting what Improvement in cleanliness. That was the first thing I noticed and very much improvement. The ladies restroom was so clean . The flowers are beautiful.
