"I lived next door to this liquor store from cir"
"Some prices are expensive comparing to any market of course but it's a local liquor store and some prices are good after all"
"It's out the way if you don't know it's there you will pass it by the street it's on leads to the freeway so if you pass it you'll have to circle the block good service and bixel has almost everything you need and want"
"Seriously the best local convenience store you could ever want"
"Jay was great and really helpful"
I lived next door to this liquor store from cir. 1976-1983. I remember buying chocolate bars for 25 cents and soda pop for 50 cents. I remember when they installed the first arcade game, I believe it was Pac-Man, then Centipede. I would spent all of my money playing those two games. For breakfast, I would always buy a small carton of milk with a Hostess Cupcake. My friends and I would jump from the roof of our apartment building down to the rooftop of this liquor store, then run across and slide down the slanted roof and land on top of empty boxes and run away before the store owner could catch us. The sound of little kids landing on the rooftop must have been loud and scary to the people in the store below. Had a great childhood in that neighborhood and good memories about Bixel Liquor Store. Some prices are expensive comparing to any market of course but it's a local liquor store and some prices are good after all. I buy Lotto tickets there usually and I have won like 10 times the past year I can say and the highest there I've won was $200 on a crossword puzzle one. Neat $$$$ …
It's out the way if you don't know it's there you will pass it by the street it's on leads to the freeway so if you pass it you'll have to circle the block good service and bixel has almost everything you need and want.gave it only
Seriously the best local convenience store you could ever want. Family run (I'm pretty sure?). They are kind every time I walk in, but two moments vividly stick out in my mind. They have a Fedex pickup at their store and I had some frozen
Jay was great and really helpful. Super convenient with plenty of goods and wines to choose from. He helped me find everything and was a really friendly and professional. I’ll be back for any quick items if I need a UPS drop off location.
I do like this place for now, they have things that you want and need sometimes & sometimes things that you don't need to eat at all but as born American we have by cravings junk food the is the best drugs you can have
I use to always go to this store back In the 80s to buy stuff since I use to live around the block. I try to stop by when ever I'm in downtown and buy something to drink. I remember the name Richards. The memories.
A very nice hole in the wall liquor store thats very convenient considering that all others in dtla can be tourist pricey and somewhat of a hassle to get to with all the congestion n traffic.
Please come here. This is a well stocked ,cuter, more friendly version of 7-11. I like supporting smaller businesses trying to make it in a world full of big conglomerates like 7-11
very nice store I like going there when the older lady is there she's very very nice and polite Everybody else is about business this is GOOD
I can not say enough about how great these folks are, always kind, and friendly. The prices arent bad, but cant put a price on great service.
Rude and racist. They didn’t know I spoke theor language and I heard everything they were saying about a black man that walked in. Shameful.
This store has great customer service after my purchases the cashier gave me a free lighter before a fair-well greeting
I like their beer discount. If you buy more than one 16 oz. of beer, then you'll pay only $1.25 per can. …
Been in the neighborhood for 8 years, this store and everyone at it is probably the only thing good about it.
A great little mom and pops run get it kind of store..! And its right on my daily walking route.!
If you feel thirsty and you need something cold go to the Bixel liquor that's the best one

I'm trying to quit the fire water and they sold some to me any way.
They were so nice and helpful. The prices weren't astronomical.
