The black duck A charming and friendly spot conveniently located in the heart of richmond. This place offers some of richmonds best: Kind, family feel, genuine service. Nothing is too hard and their loyal customers who seem like friends line up out the door. First in town to open, and all smiles this is one of the nicest places to spend your morning. They serve excellent coffee and dont skimp on the decaf either! The breakfasts foods look simple and hearty. Personally i tried the granola/yoghurt cup which was the perfect balance of freshness and crunch. Im glad i have such a wonderful and reliable place in my new town. They were also open every day during the holiday season.

This venue is the pure definition of 5 star service, food and atmosphere.. If you are ever within 100 kms of this cafe then you should seriously make an effort to visit, it is worth the effort and then some... Demi and the team provide exceptional service; both friendly and professional, they just make you feel absolutely welcome.. The food is amazing, the breakfast burger is to die for.. I will NEVER visit Richmond again and not visit this amazing little slice of paradise... All hospitality businesses should be like this... you guys are AMAZING.... plus a thousand... xxx

Dining in or take away is always exceptional. The owners are absolutely lovely people and so is their staff. The coffee is the best in Richmond and the prices very reasonable. Locals absolutely love BLACK DUCK. Can't say enough about these 2 wonderful owners. Beautiful people inside and out.

My favourite coffee shop in Richmond. The customer service is next level, the coffee is absolutely delicious and the food is so yummy! I was here for work for a week and went there every morning to be greeted by the wonderful staff and the delicious smell of espresso!

Had a lovely experience at this cafe a few weeks ago. Staff catering superbly for special dietary requirements and were helpful in recommending some of the most delicious muffins I've ever eaten. For anyone needing gluten free meal or treat, this place is a winner. Staff are aware of cross contamination for allergens.

I am not from the Hawkesbury area and the locals are just always so nice. I popped in this morning and was greeted by 2 lovely staff members, one a young boy and another girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. She proceeded to chat with me about my day and also complimented me. Her being so lovely and welcoming just made my day. And he made a bomb oat chai! so yum! Great coffee, lovely staff!

Tucked into a cosy spot on Windsor Street, the Black Duck Espresso Cafe beats anything else Richmond has to offer! The service is quick, friendly and professional. But let's be honest, I come here for the coffee perfection and the fresh super healthy food. There is something that will satisfy any palate. The coffee here is a best kept secret! Until now. Got introduced to it by work colleagues and it's been my go to for the days that I need a little extra something something to get me through when my spark plugs aren't firing. I haven't had the food but I've never seen the place empty and the coffee is always served quick, hot, and with a smile.

Great place even better staff, went there with the kids to grab a coffee, yes was a little slow but the coffee was great one of the staff even gave some free cookies to the kids. This is what it’s about, well done guys listen to your fans not the haters ✌️

Nice coffee. Very quick service, and the ladies are super friendly. Breakfast was also good. I just had eggs on toast, but it was tasty. It gets busy with the local RAAF and police as well as regulars and visitors like me, but worth the short wait.

This was already a fantastic cafe, but somehow the new owners have taken it to new heights of greatness. A dedication to high quality food, delicious coffee and superb customer service. (I'm running out of positive adjectives just describing them.) They go above and beyond. Just marvellous!

After living in Richmond for 18 months we have had a chance to try coffee at many different cafes. Black Duck has become our cafe of choice. It has the best coffee in the area, the price is competitive, and the staff are friendly and attentive.

The service is absolutely fantastic and the coffee and food match. The chef/owner is the most lovely lady on the planet. You're in for a treat if you're lucky enough to be there on a Mod, Wed, Fri for the greatest and freshest cannoli.
