"Community asset of the highest order with great staff and the ability to use an app to reserve items and renew online"
"The library is always very tidy and clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere"
"Hi"
"Terrible customer service, packed up and ready to leave, door locked and refused to let me in to collect something from amazon locker a few minutes before 530"
"I think the library is excellent with increased opening hours and a very, very, friendly and helpful staff"
Community asset of the highest order with great staff and the ability to use an app to reserve items and renew online. It is well used across the age profile and brings people to the shops on Old Dover Road which keeps them thriving. The Einstein quote "any student only has to know one thing - the way to the Library" is well founded.
The library is always very tidy and clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are pleasant and always willing to help. There is a wide variant of subjects and books you can get on them. The books are a bit dated though. All in all, I will recommend as a source of information and a place of leisure. WiFi is available for use
Hi.. Very helpful staff.. I am a technophobe however using a computer here is better than using my laptop at home. In the library the staff are always very helpful and not patronising of someone of my age and limited IT skills... Thank you all for your kind considerations... Jacqueline.
Terrible customer service, packed up and ready to leave, door locked and refused to let me in to collect something from amazon locker a few minutes before 530. Have suggested amazon move their locker to a place that is in line with their customer service
I think the library is excellent with increased opening hours and a very, very, friendly and helpful staff. One young staff member spent at least 1 hour helping me reconnect with my email following problems due to the long Covid closing. Thank you!!!!!
Staff are not friendly, especially the small Asian woman. They try to usher you out of the library half an hour earlier than closing time, and they almost always close the doors 5-10 minutes before the actual closing time, so it's difficult
I had an emergency where I needed to print 1 page for a medical insurance paper. All I got was “no, no, no” even down to borrowing a pen the look of confusion was ridiculous. It was 10p and I was forced to use a credit card, no cash. It
It's a fantastic place in every aspect. I like reading at home, but nothing can replace the unique feeling of the atmosphere here. The staff very helpful and knowledgeable. This is the perfect place to relax and forget the daily stress.
Not difficult to get to as public transport i.e. busses, pass not too far away. Automatic doors mean visitors with mobility problems should pass through without hindrance. I visited to check on various items in "Which" magazine, which
Relief & joy to have access to a library to borrow & order books again. Well organised, sanitation for hands and books. Staff always helpful & friendly, especially Wendy. Please wear a mask when you visit.
The local library is a great facility to have, particularly as part of the wider Better network that allows me to order from a much wider selection than is held on site.
A very good public library with a good selection of books. The children section has got good books. Nursery rhyme time and storytelling time for kids is really very good.
not good there is no privacy in the library the workers would just be watching u everytime and standing there all the time they are not helpful at all and very rude
I come here all the time and I love it staff are very helpful and kind my only problem is when the kids come in and sing nursery rhymes it's very noisy.
Always lovely to be at the library with staff that are friendly, accomodating and have excellent communication skills to help when required
I have been using this library for 10 years and I always got brilliant suggestions from the staff. I can't recommend it enough. GO.
Use the closing times with a pinch of salt, especially worth noting if you cycle across London to access their Amazon Locker.
Blackheath library is one of the best libraries in Greenwich. Very helpful and polite. Keep up the good work.
Nice small library to study or to read a few books. Also Amazon lockers available to use near the enterance.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Couldn't do a couple of things on computer but they helped me out.
Good place for quiet study. The toilet facility needs to be improved. The staff are quite friendly.
Facilities maybe a bit out of date but very well decorated and lovely vibes like old-time …
Good library. Apart from books it has dvds and with a library ticket you can use the computers
Nice place. Much more civilized than the Greenwich Centre branch, which can be very noisy.
Friendly staff. Good selection. Cant wait until it's all opened up.
Good selection of children's books and nice environment
