I am so disappointed with my experience here!! I had Rae do my tax last year and I was charged $350. This year my tax was exactly the same, I made the same amount and nothing was any different and I was given an invoice for $660. I had no warning of this crazy price increase and Rae claims she had spent more time on my tax this year but that makes no sense as nothing was different to last year and I send her a spreadsheet with all my figures on there. She registered me for gst that is the only difference. We literally exchanged 4 brief emails and had 1 short phone call. After I queried the invoice she said they had also had a price increase. I still don’t understand how a price increase and registering me for gst equals to an extra $310. I waited over 6 weeks for Rae to even get my tax return to me and now that I’ve finally settled the bill (I had to threaten consumer affairs and fight for them to lower the invoice) it’s been an additional 5 days and they still haven’t lodged my tax return. They do not care about you here especially if you are a low income earner, they clearly only care about the rich who can pay them more. So so disappointed!!
