Great pharmacy with a good range of products. The staff are helpful and friendly. You can have a 30 min free parking in secure parking nearby and then walk to this pharmacy. I miss one of their previous employees, haven’t seen him there for a long time. I’ve managed to find products here easily. Nothing bad to say about this pharmacy really, the only time I felt quite stressed here was when I went to buy a ventolin for asthma and they weren’t going to give one to me and I was told to go to the doctor and get a prescription! Obviously I didn’t want to pay $50+ to get a prescription for something that doesn’t need a prescription lol They finally let me buy a ventolin after 10 minutes of decision making. This was early 2020 I think, after pandemic started. It was very stressful for me thinking that I wasn’t going to be able to buy a ventolin because they didn’t think I had asthma just by looking at me from 2 meters away. But obviously I still go back because it was just one incident and they still let me buy my ventolin. Update: Thank you for your reply. I appreciate you took the time to write it. It makes sense, I actually didn’t know I could have got the prescription through the phone back then, my bad. The doctor actually had diagnosed me with a type of asthma in the past and I’ve been buying ventolin from your pharmacy for a long time, but I’m not sure if it was in the system. Thank you for still selling it to me. The whole pandemic thing has been very stressful for everyone.

Pretty rude and poor service. I called up around 9:30pm asking for storage advice on a medication since I'm a late night carer for an elderly. I would have called the regular pharmacy but since its late, they were closed. The pharmacist at Blake's Pharmacy pretty much told me they don't know and I need to call up the manufacturer to check (I would have called them if I could at 9:30PM) and I kid you not, literally told me they do not want to look it up or spend any more time on this matter because I did not buy the medication from them. Ok I would totally understand if you said you were busy and unable to check for me. But never have I come across a pharmacist that would tell me they only provide medication advice to paying customers only. So much for providing advice to the wider community statement? And yes I know how to do a basic CMI search on google however it was still vague due to my unique circumstance hence why I required the assistance of a pharmacist to clarify. Good thing I managed to call another late night pharmacy and they happily assisted me that took less than 2 minutes of their time

Blakes is the gold standard of community pharmacy care. Jen, Anthony, Michelle, Tracey, Luke, Danielle, David and all the team provide professional services in a skilful, respectful, friendly and inclusive environment. Extended hours great for the diverse community around them, and unlike some late night pharmacies where the staff are casuals with no connection to the area, any late night dash to Blake’s still provides great support, information, and the same friendly staff that draws people there when they need expert and caring advice and assistance. I do not recommend this pharmacy as the customer service is terrible and they have lied about having scripts when they did not. They also treated customer terribly and told her to “get out” after her saying that they wasted her time. Terrible service and passive aggressive response with no accountability for their mistakes or communication styles. Tracey should be reviewed as a formal complaint has been made about his actions and behaviour. Take some responsibility for your staff, the discrimination was from Tracey not the customer

An easily accessible pharmacy with a good range of products and knowledgeable team! I had used Blake’s for years when I lived in Potts Point and had been extremely happy with the service. They kept my scripts on file and I never had any issue with incorrect filling or lack of stock. If you’re looking for a no fuss but friendly local pharmacy that does great things within the community that is also far more personal than a chain pharmacy - this is a great option!

After finding out that I can't give back and have a refund for a medicine that has not been even prepare themselves, I asked to have information about this subject and what Australian organism regulates this matters. After they gave me something written in other more professional pharmacy, as they didn't have this crucial information on their website, I was ask very rudely I was told to google it myself to go away. Buy local? not in this pharmacy anymore!

I had a brilliant experience with Blakes today - they managed to arrange for my prescription of antibiotics for tonsillitis to be delivered to me at home within an hour, given I am in self isolation whilst waiting for COVID test results (and having rung other pharmacies in the area who couldn't help). I really appreciate the effort the staff went to, especially whilst waiting for the prescriptions to be faxed over by the doctors. Thank you so much

The most ideally located pharmacy that is a little bit of a refuge for me when I need help. Whether it's a vaccine, advice or even making medication that's not available on the market, this pharmacy is dynamite. Jen and her amazing team are always able to direct me and help me. Their range is phenomenal. I don't remember going to Darlinghurst and not popping in. Easily the best pharmacy in Sydney .

My local pharmacy. These days with the rise of chemist supermarkets, I get personal service from people who know me. Their advice has been so helpful, as well as the friendly service. Tracey, Jennifer, Michelle all knowledgeable and aware of my personal needs. It's something that is unfortunately going as the chains get bigger. I value that service, that's why I go to Blake's.

I was stuck in quarantine at a local hotel and desperately needed medicine for my new born baby. (Another local chemist nearby was incredibly rude and refused to help insisting “not my problem” due my situation!!) The staff at Blakes found what I needed, helped me pay over the phone & delivered it to the hotel front desk for me. THAT’S SERVICE - thank you.

Absolutely sensational! The Pharmacist, Jen, was so incredibly helpful and spent time going into the appropriate dose for a medication our child had never used. She was so kind and helpful. I also found the other other staff there very helpful and happy. What a fabulous place. Will definitely go back, even though we don't live right nearby.

I was served by Maya whilst getting a vaccination (Maja? I apologise I am not sure how to spell her name). And she was amazing & very knowledgeable. I want to express my gratitude for her taking an extra few minutes to explain things to me and for her overall kind demeanor. Thank you for having someone like that working for you!

I placed an order in September 2021 on their website. It is now January 2022. They did not have the product I ordered. I was told I would get a refund. It has not been refunded. Nor do they reply to me. I have sent several emails. DO NOT SHOP HERE. If they don’t have the product you won’t get your money back. They are dodgy.

I’ve been a regular customer at Blake’s for about 5 years. The whole team are truly wonderful. I cannot think of another independent retailer in ANY category that would match their friendliness, professionalism and going the extra mile. This might seem effusive and false, it’s not, I’ve no conflict in endorsing them highly.

Love the friendly staff at this pharmacy and the fact that they are not judgmental about amount of medications we buy. We are cruising sailors and have to stock up well on our medications before spending months in remote areas, which raises eyebrows at some pharmacies. Not here though, which is really nice.

Jenny the pharmacist went above and beyond to help me in my time of need. At 11 pm she was able to source vital medication as I was heading off on a cruise ship the next day. A wonderful human being. Very professional service . Thank you, I was so lucky that I found an empathetic person to help me out.

absolutely rude staff, i was appalled at being told to go "somewhere" up the road to find what i wanted, with a snooty young man draping his arms and looking me up and down as if i were not good enough to be in the store. bah. never will try them even if i needed a script. take note, BLAKES PHARMACY.

Fairly rude staff here, went in to pick up a script. Was spoken to rather rudely by one gentleman and told I'd have to wait as they were busy waiting for coffee. I was given weird looks and made to be felt like I was welcome there. Definitely need to adjust how to talk to and treat customers!

I love Blakes! They have always been extremely helpful and dedicated to customers. I feel like I can get good, comprehensive information at the pharmacy counter as well. It’s also just a really cute pharmacy and I love the vibe between the staff members. Feels truly LGBTQ+ friendly also!

I went there to pick up some medicine. I asked questions to the customer service staff. She was really rude to me for no reason. she got agitated and told me to that she doesn’t know i need to ask the pharmacist. She could have said that in a polite way but she just crashed on me.
