The best library in Southwark (possibly the world?!?)! The baby and toddler groups are superb, especially the one on Friday run by Paul. All the staff are personable and super helpful, and Rodney is a legend. He makes an effort to greet and get to know everyone who visits and understands the needs of each person. This library is a hub for the community and one of the reasons it is great to live here. Invaluable service and I always love visiting.

Lovely space, very comfortable desk and seating but this is not the place you want to go if you want a quiet place to work. Both staff AND visitors were not sensitive about keeping it quiet for the whole 3 hours I was there. To be fair, however, the library is rather small so the noise is rather unavoidable.

The staff in the library are THE BEST. So encouraging of youngsters to read. Always happy to see you and always willing to help. Their absolute passion is books and it comes across at every visit!

I cant praise the staff enough, Rodney and his colleague were amazingly knowledgeable and patient with me, I arrived stressed and left feeling id made friends with the guys. 100 stars not 5

Librarians were extremely kind when I was trying to sign up for a new membership. Check out system is very nice. Clean and spacious library. Many sitting areas.
