Probably the best laundry I’ve used and I’ve been to a lot! I use it for work (mostly linen) this place has great equipment, easy eftpos service available if needed, coin machine and plenty of room to fold your laundry too. I live in St Kilda but travel here as the machines are better than anywhere else in Melbourne! I find at most laundromats I spend close to double what I spend here because their dryers and washers aren’t efficient where as here the dryers and washing machines cater to all washing size loads. I normally use the jumbo washing machine or the mega load depending on what’s available on the day, where as at other laundromats I’d have to use at least 2-5 standard washing machines which isn’t cost effective at all. Owner really cares about his customers too and the cleanliness of the laundromat which makes it a great business to want to support as well. Cafe next door too, not much more you could really ask rifht.

It was my first time visiting the Blue Hippo laundromat in Yarraville, and I must admit I was super impressed with the quality of their machines (they looked like they were brand new) and the store was really clean. I’ve been to plenty of laundromats in the past where the machines don’t work, my money gets jammed or the whole store just looks a bit shady and run down. Blue Hippo was definitely a refreshing change, the store looked super bright, I was able to pay by cash or card and there was a nice big table where I could comfortably fold my washing. I wish there was a store in my local area that felt just as fresh and clean...I’d be washing (and drying) my large loads more often. Thanks Blue Hippo for helping make my staycation near the CBD stress free. I can’t recommend your laundry services enough!!

Have cold/warm washing machines for different loads equaling to 1, 2, 3, 4, to 6 baskets which takes about 24 min per wash. Washing machine works really effectively and powerful with small amount of detergent as suggested (do not put more, it will create so much foam), plus 24 more minutes in the hot dryer you will have your clothes clean fresh and dry. Do not use the hot dryer for too long as it will dry too much. Free wifi also requires your personal information including address, birthday, mobile number so I didn't actually want to use it.

I use this laundry every week and today I scanned my card on the EFTPOS machine twice by accident I didn't realise the door wasn't fully closed I called the number and asked the man if I could get the money back for one of the transactions and apparently I can't. They have recently increased their prices too and have a subcharge on the EFTPOS machines so I think it's time to stop using this place for me it was good while it lasted though.

The establishment is well-maintained. I don't have any complaints on the premises. I hope there's an improvement in handling refund requests. Called and asked for a refund because I was charged twice for the dryer. The refund did not go through. Could not follow up as I went oversea two days after the incident. Time is valuable for everyone, a simple request like this should be processed efficiently.

Machines are new, clean and best of all, they offer EFTPOS payment method so you don't have to worry about having gold coins for your laundry anymore. Owners are very polite and friendly. I remember they even closed a bit late when people couldn't finish their laundry on time. I have a couple of coin laundry shops near my place in Maidstone but I still prefer to come here.

The closest to heaven you could get , this laundromat is the greatest establishment in Melbourne if not all of australia. My laundry gets blessed by the washing machine and then tumbled in the dryer till they are as soft as clouds! It’s a modern day miracle ✨! I salute you blue hippo you are doing gods work …

This is the only laundromat I use even though there are a couple closer to my house. It has everything I need, is clean and is conveniently located between a great Thai and fish'n'chip shop. If I manage to go during the day there is also a great little cafe next door.

Has EFTPOS on machines and a coin machine if you only have notes. Therss washers and dryers and the machines are in good order. There's two seating areas and a good fish and chip next door if you're hungry. There's also a community notice board.

New machines, clean and open early. No idea why the TV is on with subtitles. Quick wash times from the front loaders, and they still have old school top loaders. Plenty of dryers. Pity the coffee shop next door isn't open early.

Clean laundry facility, new machines, television… There is also a machine that changes your notes for coins. You can call Adam if anything goes wrong. However there is no WiFi like they have mentioned on this Google search.

Great laundromat! Change/detergent machines, Tv to entertain, and all the machines accept card! (30c fee). Very clean, and therrs a cafe and milk bar next door if youre feeling peckish.

This is where I do my weekly washing while I don't have a washing machine. The prices are reasonable and the laundromat is clean. Am happy to recommend this place.

This is one of my favourite places to dry my clothes in the area. The medium drying setting for 35 minutes is perfect for drying 2 loads of washing.

It's okay but there's only one large machine the others are much smaller so it really needs at least three but as they say best in best dressed

Good place to wash large items such as doonas. I like that their machines can be used with cards and have PayPass functionality.

Really nice laundry mat. Clean, they take card, easy to use, various load sizes, free wifi (didn't use) and cafe are next door.

This laundry is a saviour for us.. when we dont hold cash we can just touch on which makes u r job easier.
