I made a stop over here, just to sit out the Mainland-bound rush hour traffic. I would rather spend three hours watching a film than on the Third Mainland Bridge. Luckily, a film was only 10mins onto its run when I arrived; I paid for it, collected my popcorn and soft drink and settled in. But I was surprised that the hall was empty. Do Lagosians -- especially those who work on the Island -- know that this place exists? Loved the bluish interiors, made largely so by the seat colours. I also particularly liked that it's a cute, small space -- I guess it should seat about 120 people thereabout. Oh, the popcorn: tastes and smells really good. Possibly the best I've had at any cinemas in Lagos.

I have always loved a cinema at city mall, because of its proximity to the mainland. A get away not too crowded place to see a movie, especially for those on Lagos island avoiding getting into Victoria island or lekki. A place to lay low for traffic and still have fun or catch a movie.

Situated at the CityMall, BluePictures is quite central when you're around Lagos Island. The Reception is warm and very friendly. Not sure if this was due to the festive season or it's the house tradition. The movie hall are also spacious, and popcorn and drinks to go with each movie.

A wonderful Cinema in City Mall. Tuck right up on the last floor. The Management of the Mall should be kind enough to have the elevators work all through. Safety considerations with regards obscuring the Walk Ways by the Staircase would enhance emergency evacuations if need be.

It still needs a lot of work but it was a nice place to see a movie. The medium-sized popcorn and drink was 1800, movie ticket price varies, their restroom is a floor below the screening halls, there was no shawarma or hotdog. They also have limited movie options.

The air conditioning barely worked in the cinema itself. The reception area was fairly comfortable but the air conditioning needs to be overhauled. Occasional sound breaks while watching the movie. Not good experience for movies without subtitles.

The popcorn is mind blowing the hot dog has 2 sausages and they are both #800 each They have a deal every Mondays movies is #…. Go and find out how much You won’t be disappointed …

I watched the king's Men In the cinema and it was a very lovely experience. I'm not sure most people are aware that there's a cinema in city mall tho, if you didn't know; it's on the top floor of the mall!

I love the attitude of the workers, they were very friendly, the atmosphere is inviting and the ambience is absolutely breathtaking. I watched Black Panther and will definitely visit again and again.

Their tickets are cheap compared to Cinemas in Lekki & V.I Not rowdy at all. Almost quiet cinema rooms, staff are chill, been having good experience so far.

Was here for the movie premiere of Cookies Sport and the experience was amazing. I enjoyed every second off the movie.

The only entrance is an escalator and a flight of stairs. An elevator from the ground floor up would be great.

The cinema isn't too crowded. They show lots of Nigerian movies, not so much movies in general though.
