Een huwelijk organiseren is niet makkelijk en je moet aan veel denken, maar als je Cathérine inhuurt om je taart te laten maken dan verdwijnen al veel van je "zorgen". Cathérine is ongelooflijk begaan met je hele proces en boven alles een ontzettend geweldige taarten designer / maker / bakker. Ze heeft zo veel positieve energie en dat stralen haar taarten ook uit. Haar taarten zien er niet alleen PRACHTIG uit, maar smaken ook FANTASTISCH en ik kan niet anders dan haar aan te raden voor welk event je dan ook organiseert. Wij kregen een prachtige elegante, simpele met verse pioenrozen met een bovenlaag van chocolade en frambozen en een onderlaag van peer met amandelcake met daartussen perencompôte, maar wat je (wens)smaak ook mag zijn, Cathérine weet het uit haar oven te toveren.

I ordered my wedding cake here and Catherine has been an absolute pleasure to work with!! Not only was the cake delicious, you can taste it was made with quality ingredients and very fresh (no-one wants dry cake), she was very professional and that’s exactly what you want when ordering your wedding cake! I felt she listened to me and gave her professional advice as a baker, we created a perfect cake together (instead of other bakers who sometimes only do what they want to do). The cake was fabulously decorated, exactly as I had asked and still maintaining that wedding cake elegance. The cake was the most important element in my wedding and I’m forever grateful I found a baker who created my magical dream cake, thanks again Catherine :). Can whole heartedly recommend!!

Beautiful and delicious cake! We ordered a cake for our niece who was visiting from abroad on her birthday. She loves unicorns, donuts and macarons and Catherine did a fantastic job combining these into a tasteful cake. We went for vanilla funfetti with dulce de leche filling, delicious!! Our niece was over the moon with the cake, loved it! Would absolutely recommend her, not only the cake was amazing but the whole process too, smooth and clear communication. We ordered our apple salted caramel weddingcake with Catherine (the mastermind behind Blue Bird) and we are so happy that we chose her for our beautiful cake! She puts so much thought into the design of her cakes that they are always such a surprise and so very individual and special. What a wonderful experience we had in ordering our son's first year birthday. Ik was nooit liefhebber van taart, totdat ik Bluebird ontdekte. Het zijn buitenaardse creaties, door mensenhanden gemaakt. De taarten zijn intens van smaak (chocola is ook écht chocola), fluffy (een soort eetbare wolk), niet te zoet en elegant om te zien. Een kleine waarschuwing: als je dit geproefd hebt, dan is er geen weg terug.

Just Wow! I think I found my new go-to for the next birthdays! I've ordered for the first time the chocolate Pomegrate cake for my husband's birthday. We had ordered few celebratory cakes (and pies!) over the years. Always delicious and always gorgeous! Actually usually it is hard to cut into the cake because each time it’s like a piece of art.. but they taste so good that eventually we forgive ourselves for destroying such beauty ;)

For a small, intimate wedding, I was looking for a glamorous cake adorned with floral with a BIG taste. Bluebird Rotterdam concocted and constructed the perfect wedding cake. The surprise was the filling: Earl Grey infused with Swiss meringue buttercream.
