I just got out of the hospital from having open heart surgery I've been in the hospital for 3 weeks and wanted some decent food so I ordered $56 worth of food from them. First of all we didn't get our drinks had to go back and get our drinks. When we got home I had no gravy for my biscuits and gravy. My eggs which were supposed to be over medium were fried hard. the hashbrowns were like a hockey puck they were so hard and the one bite I could try tasted rotten. I called and spoke with Erica the manager. She was outside when our order was packed. I know that because my daughter was inside waiting for the food. not having been in the restaurant when our order was packed she had no idea what was in the bag. She was not familiar with our order at all and had to go to the register look it up. I told her what was wrong with my order. Then she wanted to be a smart aleck. oh no ma'am everything we made for you was correct. I said no ma'am it was not. I told her the problems. She said they would have to get a hold of the online ordering and it would take five to seven days to get my money back. I ordered through their website specifically. And she was so rude to me and hung up on me several times. Even the Arnold Palmer's tasted horrible. It tasted like the lemonade had gone bad and there was absolutely no tea in it. Erica, you better start my total and complete refund. I will be speaking to your boss. Thanks for making the hardest time In my life even worse. And thanks for making one of my favorite places to eat someplace I will never go again.

We got into Indianapolis at about 4 PM.after driving 10 hours. A storm hit just as we were turning onto our last road to our hotel. Took us an hour to go a few miles to get coffee because of a power outage and traffic accidents. Heading back towards the Bob Evan's I took the main road. Mistake. No traffic lights. So it took 30 minutes to get two miles from coffee to here. I had called the restaurant to make sure they had power and got put on hold. I was still on hold 22 minutes later when I walked in the restaurant. I put in my order and eventually got into a lively discussion with another couple pf patrons about my ordeal which included not getting my order 40 minutes after putting it in. Then found out the other two had got one of my orders instead of their order. I asked for a refund and gladly left. I was trying to be patient because they had had storm issues too. But I wasn't about to wait for them to sort out the problems with the orders and whatever else was going on. I had just had enough.

The food was fine, the service not so much. I understand that it was busy for the holiday, but the way the staff handled the customers was less than ideal. I watched a manager be what I call nasty nice to several customers. Someone who had been waiting almost an hour for an online order that had been placed an hour before that was frustrated, rightfully so, and was told in a condescending manner...sorry for your wait and have a nice day. Then she walked away. The words are fine but the tone let you know the real message. I also witnessed a staff member speak with another team member in a very rude manner. This woman was probably 20 years younger and told her coworker to move and find something to do. I had my own encounter with a manager and a team member but the treatment I witnessed was worse.I hate that this is the closest location to me, I'll likely never return.

Stopped in off the highway to get a quick breakfast. Used the restroom before sitting down. No soap in the dispenser, large bottle of hand santizer was empty. Told the manager the men's room was out of soap, she said she would attend to it right away. Ate a disappointing breakfast that took too long, never got hot sauce as requested, pancakes were weirdly cooked out the outside mushy on the inside. At the conclusion of meal, used the restroom again, still no soap. Told the assistant manager at the register that the restroom was out of soap. "I know, they keep knocking it off the wall, and we keep replacing it..." What kind of answer is that? Well what does the cook and waiters use to wash their hands??? Left feeling really gross.

Order: Homestead Farmer, Cinna-Biscuits, Decaf Coffee I ordered delivery, so I will only rate the food. All of it was dry. The eggs and hashbrowns tasted fake with no flavor. They gave me literal brown gravy instead of white sausage gravy with my biscuits. The only thing that was good was the bacon and the black coffee. I appreciate that they added creamer and sugar in the bag even though that wasn’t requested. I have ordered twice and do not plan to order again. The prices were good for the amount of food, but if I wanted quick and low quality like this, I would have ordered Denny’s. Update: Just got to the bottom of my coffee cup and spit out a whole bunch of coffee grounds. Guess only the bacon was good.

Food was alright but it would have been nice if the server could have waited until I was at least done with the first half of my BLT to hand me the check. That always makes me feel like they are in a rush for me to leave. And I also had to ask for a refill because after the server gave us the bill she disappeared until right before we were about to leave. Also if the menu says your sandwich is supposed to be served on a brioche bun and you serve it to the customer on white sandwich bread you could at least apologize for the substitution that may have made me change my mind on what I ordered.

CHECK YOUR FOOD CAREFULLY. Server spilled our drink on the table as soon as we got there and we had to clean it up. Asked another waitress why our server seemed upset. We was told "that's how she is". I knew i should have left right then. But i thought she could of just been having a bad day. Showed manager the food she said she can't catch every problem there. Also she said blueberries got mixed with my eggs. Trying to figure out why they are cooking blueberries with eggs. Pot roast was dry and tasted bad. Salad tasted like it was freezer burnt. But they did give me a discount. Probably wont be back there anytime soon. Place needs to hire different crew. We was there with 4 people and 2 who had not ate there before.

This has to be the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The server took our order. Placed our order. Then clocked out. Did not tell the manager he was leaving, but supposedly told a coworker. The server did not tell anyone that he had a table he was waiting on. So after a good while I did not see our server. Went up to ask someone where our server went. Someone said he left. So no one was waiting on us. Our food was sitting there getting cold. The manager did not offer a discount. Was very disappointed. Probably will not be back. This happened today 12/17/23 about 4-4:30.

I was so disappointed. I had not been to any Bob Evans in a few years, the only things I've ever had from there is the pot roast hash and the wildfire chicken salad which both are/were good. This visit I ordered the pot roast hash which has shrunk in size considerably but has the same price point, needless to say I was very underwhelmed and upset with the taste, size and cost so Bob Evans is a NO for me I will make my own pot roast hash from now on and the banana bread used to be so good I don't know what's going on with these chain restaurants...the entree is the same size as the side, that was a joke to me but if you like it then you do you this is just my opinion based on my experience.

Slow slow slow while I was there people were leaving because they took too long on their order. The poor waitress has to take the heat. However I was watching the window to the kitchen and my sausage and gravy was there too long, no wonder your food is hot when you get it. I really feel it's poor management that causes the problem not the poor ladies and gentlemen servers! If it wasn't for great biscuits and gravy I don't know if I will return. One thing I almost forgot I just had the served coffee with no heatups or refill

Would LOVE to give zero stars. Walked in with a friend who is obviously a lesbian and my sister. Went in at 7. Had multiple members of staff look right at us. Didn't approach us to seat us. Didn't acknowledge us. Didn't even smile at us. We just stood at the waiting area for seating for 10 minutes while staff shot dissaproving looks our way. The dining room was almost totally empty (only two tables were seated). We're just passing through but that good old Bible Belt hate sure has reached this Bob Evans location. Won't even be buying their frozen products anymore. Don't even bother with this place.

Took my daughter here for dinner. There was no wait to be seated. The place was extremely clean and they have a nice little gift shop with the most adorable shirts. The food was so delicious. We had the fish and it was a large piece. It was fried to perfection. The slaw was creamy and tasty. I looked over the menu and they have a great variety to choose from, vegan friendly and children have a lot to pick from also. This would be a great place for family dinners. The staff were extremely friendly. Handicap ♿️ access was great!

Food was good but a little difficult to find something that did not contain bacon especially for breakfast. The waitress was kind and wanted to make us feel welcome but at the same time I felt she was a little unsure about us being there. The restaurant was very busy with only 4 wait staff for the entire restaurant. But the lady who helped me with my carry out order was very nice and apologized for the wait. Our order was correct, and the food tasted good. So we will be back, in fact, I ordered more gift cards from Sam's Club where they are $40 for $50 worth of gift cards.

Original: Placed an order to go. It was correct and delicious. Their biscuits and gravy are my favorite. Recently I had the chicken salad fruit plate and it was great. If I could give this a zero i would. Came here yesterday (4/15/23) was looked at by staff and after about 10 minutes of waiting and absolutely NO interaction whatsoever, decided to leave. Came back today (4/16/23) the exact same thing happened. No host, manager was in the kitchen. Now I understand being short staffed being in the service industry for the last 16 years, but to not interact with even a hello is absolutely unacceptable.

Can't even rate quality of the food, was never acknowledged, greeted or anything. Stood there for quite a few min. With the lack of service to just sit down, I was not interested in having my food served that way. That's the most employees I have seen working at a Bob's Evans and was bar far the worse at providing any service. Was the 1st time here and won't be back. Will drive a little farther for better service.

This location gets a single star. Poor service during my visit to pickup a paid online order. The order never came through, I was told. The manager asked to see my paid receipt of which I showed her. Then I’m told I needed to call corporate office to get my money back. After about ten minutes of back and forth, I was offered to have the order fill which I said ,no thank you because my lunch break was about over.

The food service and atmosphere here are terrific me and the woman go here to eat breakfast often and we love it!

I was at this location with three other people for breakfast. It was 9 a.m. on a Thursday. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. My "build your own omelet " was delicious. My companions were all pleased with their choices, too. The server was friendly and efficient. Overall it exceeded my expectations.
