This is definitely the worst run pharmacy in the country. For over a year now not a single time did they have all the repeat prescription meds in stock when prescribed. They usually take 1-2 days to order them. It’s so simple. You receive the same prescription every single month. The system can be automated to order the meds before you receive the prescription. You add the patients that bring you the repeat prescription to the system. What’s the worse that could happen? Having an extra box of meds in stock that’s not collected? Oh wow that must be awful. I recently met a cancer patient outside the pharmacy and he too was complaining that they delayed his cancer meds for a whole week. Luckily my condition isn’t as bad but I sure can understand the inconvenience and the suffering for losing a few days of medication every single month. It’s very bad when there are 4-5 staff members standing inside and ignoring the counter for more than 5 minutes. U don’t expect everyone to leave the work n monitor the counter but at least leave one to attend to customers or take a look at the counter every now n then before customers leave for lack of attention. Today a lady kept asking can I please pay for my items. And not a single person even acknowledged her. And they could all hear her. She ended up walking almost behind the counter so they couldn’t ignore her. Only then did they come to help her. Awful management they have zero respect for their customers. Zero care for people suffering else they would’ve made sure to have the meds in stock. I swear if u ask a monkey for a banana every day for a year I guarantee you the monkey would be handing you the banana by now.
I've been using this pharmacy for most of my life and I must say with great respect that all pharmacists and counter staff provide an outstanding healthcare service at all times. No matter how busy they are, staff goes the extra mile to help and support with any queries regarding medication. The lady pharmacists at this branch are very mindful of customers needs. There's been several occasions when the pharmacists chased prescription on behalf of the patient and got things moving forward. There is definitely a real caring and serving attitude amongst staff and that makes me and my family feel relaxed and satisfied. A big Thank you to all the lovely staff at this branch as you girls are an asset to Boot's! :)
After waiting more than 30 minutes at their locked but manned door (customer control limiting numbers) to collect a prescription my GP had informed me had been sent the previous day electronically was informed there was no prescription for me & that my GP had not sent it. Called my GP who reassured me it had been sent. As I can't face same 30 minute wait & then a fob off again tomorrow i have asked GP to raise a new prescription & send it to Golanki Pharmacy (Church Road) who answered their phone within 3 rings & informed me they have my medication in stock. Sadly this is not the 1st time.
Went to the pharmacy with a hospital prescription obviously unaware I couldn't get those here! Person behind the counter told me it would cost more than a normal prescription. When I asked how much he huffed and took my prescription to check and as he couldn't work it out himself he went to ask someone senior! Very rude! If I knew I wouldn't be going there! They provide a prescription service surely it's their job to advice people properly!
I went with £50 pound note and some coins. My bill was £10.62. I did not had enough change so I gave the £50 note but the lady Back of the counter immediate said boots doesn't accept £50.00 notes.. i am surprised So boots have to tell government to not print the 50 pound notes
There is worse pharmacy. I been here few times for simple medicine line cold and flu for kids, chicken pox or similar shelves are always empty. Short of stock for everything and even if you are second in a que you wait 15 to 20 minutes even there is 4 staff in.
The worst boots I’ve ever been to. They should be ashamed, shelves empty not a bar of of soap and staff always away talking in the back at the pharmacy bit making you wait for serving then acting like they’re doing you a favour.
Worse service. Staff use to take break without time display, wasting time. staff look confused, lack of knowledge medicine always delays. except one senior staff rest all looks interns. never recommend to anyone
Been there a few times now, staff are always very helpful. Had some issues with prescription and returns, they have always provided an answer or resolve the issue for me.
It's worth noting that the pharmacist stops for lunch so no prescriptions midday. I'm surprised that they don't advertise that fact more to save people a wasted trip.
Never put my medication in the bag I've been 3 days with out my medication what I have take every night and when I reported it they said call 111 scamers
Horrible customer service They open late 10 mins and she ask you to wait outside the pharmacy Another 10 mins to settle in a rude way. No comment!!!!!
Quick and correct. I like that they send text messages informing when your meds are ready to pick up.
Not the best chemist carrying the Boots brand but only one in this small centre. It performs well
There were more staff stacking shelves than dealing with customers.
So poor service. One lady staff is so Irresponsible attitude.
