"Don't bother getting your GP to send your prescription to this Earls Court branch or Gloucester Road branch because they never answer the phone so you can call to check and see if it's ready for collection and when you turn up they'll tell you they either didn't receive the prescription request or, after queueing in a long queue for 15-20 minutes that your prescription isn't ready or that items are out of stock and you'll have to come back another day"

I would love the staff here to try and understand how powerless a person feels when they have a serious mental health condition that makes it difficult to manage day to day life especially when the medication necessary to manage the condition is so unhelpfully withheld. The staff barely look you in the eye when they speak and make you feel like a bad person or a problem for every gentle enquiry as to the status of the prescription. It amazes me that people who are technically working in an industry to help people can be so rude and unkind. Every month getting my prescription gets worse and worse. It is NEVER ready despite how many days I leave between it being sent and picking it up. Even when I ask how long it will take them to get it ready and offer to come back in that time they still don’t have it ready. Today I wasted three hours of my time going backwards and forwards to boots each time being given a different and incorrect time frame. This is frustrating at best and disastrous at worst for someone like me. ‘Not all disabilities can be seen’ is a very true statement and it would be nice if staff working at a pharmacy could bear that in mind.
Visited the pharmacy and after being told at 5.30 I might not be seen before the the pharmacy closes at 6 I decided to wait it out to and be lucky to be seen only to be told that the prescription sent in by my GP a week ago isn't ready to collect and to try again tomorrow. The current pharmacy is understaffed and the cut opening hours aren't suitable for people who work 9-5. So the advice is that if you aren't WFH and are able to come several times take your custom somewhere more friendly towards working people. The pharmacy has seen significant drop on quality since the new year and continues to spiral down.
Don't bother getting your GP to send your prescription to this Earls Court branch or Gloucester Road branch because they never answer the phone so you can call to check and see if it's ready for collection and when you turn up they'll tell you they either didn't receive the prescription request or, after queueing in a long queue for 15-20 minutes that your prescription isn't ready or that items are out of stock and you'll have to come back another day. Appalling Service. Don't use Boots pharmacy for prescription collection as you'll be left disappointed and frustrated every time.
Advused to buy a particular medication by Dr in A&E. Was given another version which could have given even more illness although I double checked with cashier this was what I'd been told to buy. On return product taken off me & refund put in my hand "we dont have it." No sorry or apology for trying to make illness even worse. Also Lucozade Sport I bought a bottle as advised - £1.40. In Tesco along Fulham Rd 4 pack is £3.50 shame on you Boots. Money grabbers horrible place always has queues. Never use - try another pharmacy who appreciate your custom.
Most awful experience I have witnessed. Every person that had lined up to pick up a prescription - the ladies didn’t have any details in the system. Or they didn’t have enough of the prescription. Took me 1 hour to get served and find my details in the system, it was shocking. I never leave reviews - but for the sake of people’s HEALTH - this store is SO lazy. No solutions or empathy, just a simple “we don’t have your prescription in stock”. The line was also extortionately long - and that didn’t seem to both the 1-2 staff on.
Old lady staff was being super rude to me. I didn’t bring my physical student card here but i did show her my digital student card which I have to log-in anyway to show that to her. She kept asking about the date but it’s not on it, if I’m still not a student. I won’t be able to still log-in anyway. I understand if she is unable to give a discount but there is no need to be so angry, trying to make me embarrassed, and eventually I told her that I don’t need the discount anymore.
Awful service at the pharmacy. Takes ages to get seen, when they say your prescription is ready to collect they say it's not actually ready. Then it's not in stock. Can hardly ever get through on the phone. 45 minutes of waiting to be told to come back another day. Understaffed and under trained. They'll happily leave you mid service to serve needles to the junkies that come in to use the needle exchange service in fear that they'll case a scene. Don't waste your time here.
Waited in line at the medicines section for 5 minutes but no one was at the till as they were at the prescription desk that is 2mt on the right. When 18.01 clocked in they said they were close and they could not sell anymore as they were not allowed, while the guy behind the till was already leaving and finishing his shift, as he didn't see us standing 2 metres far from the prescription till at the medicines one. You're selling medicines, this shouldn't happen.
This boots Earl’s Court pharmacy has been run down for years! The staff are always rude when you ask for assistance! Even when there’s a long queue they have 1staff member on the till there’s always more staff in the back room. When you bring this to there attention they tell you that you are making trouble.I hope head office read this and consider a training course on customer service otherwise we will see a relocated sign soon -in other words closed down.
Very poor customer service and extremely rude staff at the pharmacy counter - 1 person served customers while 2 other staff members were standing behind the counter and not even looking if anyone needs help. When I tried to ask for help, they interrupted me and shouted that I should wait for their colleague who was busy with helping someone else... I only wanted to expose of expired medicines and had to wait to 10 minutes be served.. this is unacceptable!!
Refusing to visit a third time , I requested that my ignored prescription be sent to my usual Community pharmacy in tesco Cromwell road. As boots obviously struggles with getting the basics right, for example “we need to order in antihistamine.” I would marvel if they had paracetamol in stock- tesco says boots have already dispensed items from the prescriptionWhat’s wrong with you boots - pull your fingers out - thieves. Give me my medicine
You find basically all what you need. Boots is an incredible store where I consistently find everything I need. The range of products is extensive, covering everything from beauty supplies and pharmaceuticals to snacks. The shopping experience is always pleasant, thanks in part to the courteous and helpful staff. For me, Boots has become a go-to destination for a wide array of daily needs. I highly recommend paying them a visit.
This has to be the worst Boots I have ever visited, and sadly I live around the corner from it. There is always a long queue no matter what time I visit, typically with a solo person on payments with no self check out payment and the pharmacy team “unable to take payments”. It doesn’t stock many of the products I specifically shop at boots for including La Roche Posay Boots head office please give this venue a much needed boost.
If you can - avoid! Zero customer service skills, rude staff, completely disregarding customers! In my 37 minute queuing I have heard pharmacy phone calling on and on and Staff just ignoring it - this is why you cannot get through, or when you do - you are put on wait and then disconnected(Monday 16th nov 2020). After such a long queuing a random person, just walks in and been served before people waiting for so long! Poor!
Phoned in advance to see if they had my medication whilst driving. Staff member did not put the phone on hold so I could hear confidential information by pharmacy staff whilst waiting. After 10 minutes still had not had the person notify me whether it was in stock. Managed to get to pharmacy before staff had picked up the phone. When finally served told that the medication was not in stock. Waste of journey.
My father recently went to purchase some OTC medication. Not sure what the name of the guy who served him however, he was very impolite and misled my old father with the price of the product and he ended up paying more than he should have as the worker prevented my father from viewing the contactless screen for payment. Really disappointed, but never surprising from a place like boots.
Appalling service, or rather lack thereof. Despite living nearby I no longer get prescriptions sent to this awful Boots. They never answer their phone, don't advise when prescriptions are ready (despite Boots offering a text message service), and constantly have absurdly long lines for the pharmacy. Relying on this Boots feels like trying to get medication in a third world country.
Staff were not helpful and not interested in being helpful. I couldn't find any of the three things I was looking for - safety pins, elastic or travel sewing kit. I finally found these at the small pharmacy next door, so it's not like pharmacies don't stock these. But mostly it was the attitude of staff that left me pretty disgusted, won't be back in a hurry.
Lots of nice items and nicely priced. The shop also has a good pharmacy department. Gifts too, tights, hairstuff, Jewelry, Perfumes, Cosmetics, Nail polish remover, quit smoking things. The stuff you expect to see and even sandwiches and soft drinks too. And baby stuff, I think i saw nappies at rear of store in right with other things like it. Very pleasant.
We are lucky to have a pharmacy chain like Boots in the UK. Always reliable and this branch, like many of the others has helpful staff. But this Boots, like most other retailers, are short of staff as a result of cut backs and the financial greed of those running the company. So you are guaranteed a queue to waste your time.
This has been my local pharmacy for many years. The staff are always patient, helpful and friendly. Most recently Abdullah was particularly kind in enabling a text message service to let me know when my prescriptions are ready and in finding a script I had failed to pick up due to a recent bereavement. Excellent service.
I am a regular visitor to Earl’s Court and find this store so handy and convenient. Whilst I was in there today, the way one of the senior staff members spoke to another was disgraceful in front of customers. The worker left a brush and pan by railing and she was spoke to very ignorantly to remove it.
Some convenient range of products but unfortunately very run down. Very odd to see a Boots pharmacy in such bad condition. The pharmacy section has very slow service with only a few people serving customers and despite it having a relatively short queue, it takes over 15 mins just to be served.
Very unhelpful pharmacist. He told me they had no medicine that could help me, (I asked about med popular in my country, even gave the english name and he said that they don't have it in THAT country and didn't offer anything else) ... meanwhile my husband found helpful med on the shelves!
Quite a rude and disrespectful pharmacist. When asked about antibiotic throat lozenges, she said “we don’t have those in THIS country”. That racial profiling was totally uncalled for. Mind you this is when I have gotten them before from another Boots location with much more helpful staff.
Interminable wait, disinterested staff and negative atmosphere. They open late, close early and stop for lunch!! (pharmacy). If all the staff were as keen to please as the over zealous security guard who is determined to catch a genuine shoplifter the establishment would be legendary!!
Worst experience at Boots. Wanted to ask few things about medicine, after ages of wait, he wasn’t helpful at all - of 4 medicines i wanted he was aware and could show me only 1 and he didn’t even try to understand/ask what i am looking for. Will never be back, totally disappointed.
The medicines counter not manned and the prescriptions counter next to it manned by 4 who totally ignore you. You're let standing there waiting as if you don't exist. Pathetic customer service. Once she came over she didn't apologise for wait or anything. Disgusting behaviour.
The staff in the medicine department didn't give me a look. We were 2 and I waited 15 minutes. They fixed the drugs and none of them cared about the customers who needed help. I was blown away by rudeness. The only one who finally helped me was a really nice oriental girl.
Small Boots that's just down from Earls Court Station. Pretty par for the course and you can get all you need. They don't offer all the usual tests for sight or hearing that you can get at larger boots. Staff are lovely though and it has most of the basics you might need.
Branch of Boots on Earls Court Road down from the tube station. Popped in to get some headache pills only. Seems to have the usual range of typical Boots stuff. Ended up queuing for several minutes for the one member of staff on the till to catch up with a bit of a rush.
I went to the Boots on Earls Court Road today and received help with a product I'd brought earlier by a young man called Ronald, l would just like to say that his help was exemplary and I would like to thank him very much for his help, I left feeling very happy . …
Very bad service the staff doesn’t know any thing about the jobs the doing my Perception last three days my GB sent it should be there same day but they didn’t make it bad experience Earl’s Court branch very low service it look like lazy people working there
God-awful pharmacy service, 10 days after receiving a prescription they claim to have not ordered the meds, which I had to ask them personally to do, after waiting in line for 30 minutes. Incompetent, unaccountable and rude staff. Avoid as much as possible.
I’m a loyal customer at boots Earl’s Court. I always make sure to pop in on weekends, because I get to be served by the lovely Khadija in the store. She is very lovely, always so helpful and so chatty which I love! Amazing customer service from Khadija!
Terrible service at Pharmacy section. They never pick up their phones and make you wait for almost an hour for your prescription every time. Staff is very ignorant and management is very poor altho I raised my concerns verbally.
Waiting to be served for over 8 minutes and pharmacy counter were asking each other about weekend plans. Didn’t even acknowledge me. Appalling service. If I could leave zero stars I would have because one star is too generous.
I have just collected my prescription from Boots Pharmacy,Earl's Court. The Boots team are doing a truly fantastic job.Heartfelt thanks to you all for your professionalism and kindness. Caroline Tod- Richardson
I found the Philapina cashier was rude, like she owned the store, looking down her nose at me, and charged me five pence for a paper bag, I thought that only applied to Plastic bags, Regardless she was R U D E
Went to buy some painkillers but found no staff at the tills only ones there were at the pharmacy section dealing with people bringing in prescriptions. Waited at least 5 minutes before being served.
Excellent staffs services specially Robina who were most helpful and friendly. Shopped regularly at Boots, it's Pharmacy and Opticians and staffs there generally very friendly and helpful.
The pharmacy section is a joke half of the time. Some of these pharmacist/kids take forever to serve you, or get your medicine ready. Sometimes, very seldom the service is good/efficient.
The queue was sooo long that I ended up just leaving my items behind. I recognise it was a Saturday but those unfortunate cashiers could have definitely used another pair of hands!
I've given this score based on my all of my visits to this particular store. My only concerns are that it can be really difficult finding any members of staff on the shop floor.
Amy was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I found her in the makeup section. I really appreciated how she made me feel comfortable when helping me pick makeup. Truly kind!
This is a rather limited edition boots, everything you looking forward to buy wouldnt be available here. You might have to go to a bigger boots like that at Piccadilly.
Costumer service very poor! Disappointed. They were laughing when I ask them something about an infection,in the pharmacy. Was one blonde lady with curly hair.
Poorly organised stock. No wonder they couldn't find something which is very common and should be well stocked. Also, it is unclear the pharmacy hours online.
Live this place.. they just sake quality products. And the line of boots cosmetics and medicines have the same quality level as the best brands in the market.
This is a pretty dire Boots. Limited range, half the items you want out of stock. I'd give it a miss and try another one if you aren't after something urgent.
The store format is a bit dated and split over 2 levels - staff always friendly and very helpful. Good range of toiletries and medicines. Stays open late.
Have to wait aaaaaaaaaages on the phone to be able to speak with the team. ages as in 30 minutes constantly ringing. I would give zero stars if I could.
Awful service for pharmacy. Queue up for an hour and then wait for one medication to be checked for another half an hour. What’s the hold up.
Very helpful with medication that was out of stock. Phoned another local branch which had two weeks' supply. The remainder has now come in.
They never answer the phone, sometimes you need to chase them up if the prescription is already available but no one answers the phone....
Horrible service ! If I could have put 0 star I will !!! Customer service is horrendous ! You should train your staff or change them !
Cashier was unbelievably unhelpful and dismissive. I guess it’s true what they say about Boots. Learn how to speak to customers Dave.
It's a Boot's, fairly large one. Contains a pharmacy, optician, hearing checks, cosmetics counters and machines to print photos etc.
Very helpful and cooperative staff, friendly manager . Liked the arrangement . Jomer Hassan was one whom was helping me. Thanks
Hardly any stock of any common items regularly out of stock of common items like lemsip ! Staff offhand and unhelpful
Great value for money, frequent offers on fragrances and beauty products. Customer service needs to improve though.
I love Boots and I got my Mitchum deodorant (100ml) for 2 pounds instead of 3!! Good prices and a variety of goods.
My local Boots! Pleasant helpful staff (when you can find one!). Pharmacy. Beauty products. Range of perfumery.
Very old Boots you don't find averything you need better go to kensington high street the new boots is super.
9:09 Saturday. Staff on strike - people piling outside but they refuse to open the doors. That’s beyond pale.
I've stopped using them for my medication- even after 2 weeks not dispensed and they close 1-2 for lunch!!!
Manager leaves poor girl by herself on the store with no one else around and multiple clients to be served.
Very nice. Great choices, gifts too. And pharmacy, cosmetics, perfumes, sandwiches and baby/ toddler items.
It would be nice to have some of the premium brands. Good opening times but understaffed most of the times.
Qualified, great pharmacists! Never go next door to the Earls Court Chemist who are the exact opposite!
Love it ! My local and very favourite boots ! Everyone is so nice and welcoming ! Highly recommended
Slow and always fail to pick up the phone, even when they are not busy at all. Attitude is rubbish
Shops a bit small / cramped. Tills are about slow at times, but generally get what usually need.
Not punctual and not very happy sales people, neither security. Prescription service too slow.
Boots Pharmacy: 17:59 I was send away: ,… “…saying it’s closed, we all have to do something.”
Handy little shop. Looks rundown - but often has things in stock that other branches don't...
I found the staff very helpful and friendly. Boots is and always been my favourite pharmacy.
Sarah was quick to help when there was an issue with my online order. Thank you, cheers!
Needed supplies and COVID test for return flight to US. Very helpful and convenient.
Staff are helpful enough but product range is somewhat lacking for a shop this size.
staff is very friendly and helpful. Lacking some new make up ranges. Short of staff
The best nicest staff!!! Fantastic!!! Group of kindness and thoughtful!!! People x
More to females than male but you will find your perfume or shampoo or midicine
Earls Court location..good Nd friendly helpful staff...limited offerings here..
Nice shop! Sana was very professional and helpful. Great customer service.
Convenient but staff are not helpful enough especially in a tourist area
Boots pharmacy is lovely. The shop itself may need a bit more of TLC.
Slowest Pharmacist EVER!!!! Waited 30minutes to get a prescription.
Abundant options. Has security as well. Just like any other boots.
Never picks up their phone, huge lines due to being understaffed
the staff in this branch are always so friendly and helpful!
Great customer service and this boots have pharmacy …
