Like Palmers Green Library which isn't far, Bowes Park library, isn't fit for purpose. Stay away! They'll give you an hour free to use their computer (already half the time you're getting at most other libraries) and then charge you £1.40 per hour's internet no matter whether the computers are busy or not. And they call themselves a library.. Frankly, it doesn't make sense to me. It's 10.30 in the morning and it's dead in here. Half the week they're shut. They have a single computer which nobody uses and they'll only allot you half the time "due to high demand", the prompt informs you. There's nobody around to laugh..

Lovely little library, in a fabulous listed building (both inside and out). Although shelf stock is quite small, staff are willing to order anything you want for collection. Very friendly staff and a good range of opening hours. Also Internet access and printing available. Only sadness is that the commemorative clock in the entrance doesn't work.

Adorable library. Its really quite small but its generally quiet and relaxed which makes it a good place to revise. There is a limited selection of books, but two computers and a bunch of tables to sit and read at. The staff is respectful and helpful.

There are ample collection of books. But the timing aren't great. The odd timings are a real pain in the neck for children and working people.
