They also installed a 24 hour programmable timer. Upon completion of their work: They sent us an Electrical Safety Authority Inspection Certificate. The team was ALWAYS very professional, highly knowledgeable, extremely polite from A to Z. A HUGE Thanks to Brant Electric...our new pot lights are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Whenever people walk by our house at night, they often stop to admire our beautiful pot lights. They work like a charm and they add value AND outstanding beauty to the look of our home. We hired Brant electrics to put up a brand new rangehood from whirlpool (best buy). Michael and Joe came by and they were very nice and polite, however they were not able to make the rangehood to work. They said it was a faulty unit. They charged us for an hour of service. We had prepared it to be quickly installed and were there if they needed any help from us and we did assist them were we could. My only concern is that i was charged for service when the item did not end up working. Maybe that is how the business is done by this company. And they said once we get a new unit that they can come again and they will charge us the same amount.

The electrician told me a way to save money, wish I had been told this before the initial visit. I called because my ceiling fan just quit working. What he told me was: purchase a new fan in case they can't get the old fan to work, then they can replace the old one with the new one so you don't have to pay for two call outs. If they manage to get the old fan working, then return the new one. As it stands I need to get a new fan, which means another call. Not their fault, I'm just sharing the info so the company can recommend that when people call in for ceiling fan repairs, or people reading this review may choose that option.

Joe and Kevin arrived within a day to complete the work. They were amicable, patient, and addressed all my queries about the modifications I requested. I engaged Brant Electric for a wide range of electrical work for our condominium, including pot-light, receptacle, and new circuit installation. John is very professional, knowledgeable, flexible, and easy to work with. He and Derick made a great team - they were hard working and completed their work on time and on budget. We had lost power to a number of outdoor outlets (5 in total front and back) and our circuit breaker kept tripping and would not reset. We thought it had something to do with the heavy rainfall we’d been receiving lately and possibly a faulty breaker. Joe (their electrician) went about methodically troubleshooting our problem(s) and resolved everything to our satisfaction in a little under an hour. We have had multiple visits from a number of Brant Electric employees over the last few weeks. Everyone on the team from the receptionists to the electricians has made the stressful process of purchasing an older home a little bit easier. Had a problem with a high ceiling fan. Brant Electric scheduled someone to come within a week as it was not an emergency. Electricians arrived on time and completed the repair within an hour. Fan and light now work and circuit can remain on so other plugs and light switches are working.
