Based on reviews, I went out of the way to find this place. When I went through the door the place was completely empty and music just blaring. I noticed that the prices didn't match those online and the owner acknowledged that. I asked the owner if he could turn the music down because I had a headache. He said sure or, he said with a big smile on his face, you can sit way over there (at the very end of the cafe). I said: you know what? Or I could just leave. Being the rude person he is he said: bye bye... So I left and went to Molcajete at the Crossroads Market. The service was excellent, friendly, and the carnitas burrito excellent. Very kind staff and flavourful all round. Photo is from lunch at Molcajete, which I highly recommend. PS - He did not turn the music down and was just plain rude. Please make your web menu prices and actual prices match. Thank you.

Food not as advertised. My steak and cheese taco came without *any* cheese, pico de gallo and the house made sauces the menu said all tacos come with. The tortilla soup tasted just like it looks in the photo- bland. It was missing the cilantro, sour cream and most of the avocado. Won’t return and cannot recommend. (Maybe new owners as the older reviews were good..?) Also, there are other options to using styrofoam take out boxes. * response to owner: I definitely ordered a “steak and cheese” taco or I would not have been disappointed there was no cheese. It was the one your front girl recommended. And no matter how much I stirred the soup, there was no more than 4 small chunks of avocado, no sour cream, no cilantro and no taste.

Food was excellent. We had the bravos favoritos with an extra order of papusas and we were full and satisfied. Will be returning to try all the papusas.

Came here to try the pupusas. Ordered the chicharron con queso (pork and cheese) and pollo con queso (chicken and cheese) and the pork ones were definitely my favourite. They were the more flavourful of the two options. The restaurant itself is cute and they have cumbia music playing to create and vibe. It was quiet when I was there but as I was leaving there were lots of people coming in for some food. Definitely a place to come back to as I would like to try more things on the menu!

You guys are a complete rip off on skip the dishes. Never ordering from you guys on there again. Id rather phone in unless you guys charge the same way on skip the dishes I understand small business need support too, but Charging people $1 for every side and not giving people an options if they want it or not which you guys should!! Its not even worth it either too.... It should automatically come with it like before. I mean the food is good and whenever I call to make a pick up order the girl is super nice and polite.

First time ordering from this restaurant. I love pupusas and this one’s were pretty good however I’m disappointed to know that you can only pick one kind of pupusa in one order ( one order has 3 pupusas in it) I don’t understand how hard can it be to please the customer and just make the pupusas I wanted. El padrino gives you exactly what you want, (even if it’s 3 different kinds of pupusas in one order) but I just wanted to try you guys out, never making that mistake again.

So my wife and I just ordered from this place based on reviews. Let me start with the $6 dollar chips with salsa and refried beans. You get approximately 20 chips and maybe a heaping table spoon of salsa and refried beans with no flavor. I had a burrito that tasted like burnt beef mixed with other stuff that had no flavor. My wife had the flautas which are very small with no toppings and very dry and bland. This was are first and last time ordering from this place. Save your money folks!

Food was amazing! I ordered food from Bravo for a work event. There were no complaints....except for me to order MORE guacamole next time. So friendly, and worked with me to stay on budget! They delivered right to our work, set up the food for us, and came back when it was done to collect the hot trays. Very impressed 10/10 would order again!

This was my 2nd visit. This time around, I went for some tacos. Had an order of fish tacos; delicious, and beautiful appearance. Fish was cooked to perfection, and the veggies were fresh! Tacos looked so good I didn't want them to be gone. LOL. Also had an order of nachos as I'd had them on my last visit, and they too were glorious! Good food, great atmosphere. Really solid Mexican. Burrito was huge. Backed full of fresh ingredients. Smothered in burrito sauce and the just a bit of sour cream. They sauces that came with it are a nice compliment but be cautious. One is really hot! Delicious but spicy. Proceed with caution. Overall highly recommend his spot for your next Mexican craving!! Picture doesn’t do it justice.

I had the seafood soup. Recommended for those who love all sorts of seafood. Everyone else was satisfied with their lunch.

So so good. I just recently have been introduced to pupusas as my boyfriend's family is from El Salvador and now pupusas are my new favorite thing. Been here four times now and it's been great every time! I just wish I could mix what pupusas to order (you can only order 1 flavour for every 3 pupusas) cause I would like to test them all!

Very warmly welcomed by the host, pupusas were excellent and arrived surprisingly quickly. Warm, authentic atmosphere. We'll be back!

My partner and I moved to Calgary from Los Angeles six months ago and have been hunting for decent food since - especially street tacos and pupusas. Bravo Restaurant is one of the best we've found so far. It's literally the only place we've identified at this point that has wet burritos and flautas. We'll be back!

We ordered carnitas tacos and asada tacos. They were reasonably priced at $10 for an order of 3. The service was friendly and quick and the tacos were WONDERFUL! So flavourful!! I also had a jamaica water (hibiscus water). The flavours reminded me of my beloved taco stand in Mexico. ¡¡Gracias!! We'll be back.

Friendly and helpful staff. The heart of this place is DEFINITELY Mexican. Great food. Drinks from Mexico are available. Latin music playing in the background adds to the ambiance. Great place to practice Spanish if you are so inclined. I recommend this restaurant.

I will always say amaazing things of this place. This time around i got an order of charras and 3 cheese pupusas to go. My husband got yuuca with chorizo and 2 orders of tacos. If your looking for authentic latin food this is a really GREAT choice.

I have been to many Mexican/Latin restaurants but Bravo beats expectations by staying close to authentic Latin food. It is a small unpretentious yet charming restaurant located on 17th Ave in Calgary. The star of the show is good quality

The pupusas are great! Freshly made to order! I had the revueltas. I need to go back to try the tacos. They also make "mangonadas" a frozen mango slushy with chamoy, so yummy. Nice location and friendly service, will definitely be back.

Such a cute, welcoming place located in International Ave S.E. I tried their vegetable burrito and loved it. It was so flavourful and was extremley pleased they have veg options. Look forward to coming back and recommend a visit.
