Eric and his team are the closest thing I've seen to miracle workers in the insurance industry. I had been with my previous agency since I started my business back in 2016/17. It was ALWAYS difficult to get a hold of them, even when I wanted to do more business with them. I stuck around because the rates were the best I'd see (I received 3 or 4 quotes over the years) and just figured poor communication was the standard. Fast forward to today, when like many other small businesses I was needing to make some changes to my policy to get approved for the EIDL program. After a week of nearly 0 communication from the former agency and my SBA loan officer threatening to deny me because it was taking too long to get him the documents he needed, I desperately reached out to Eric about starting a new policy. Miraculously he was somehow able to get the whole policy done in a day. We emailed back and forth over 60 times yesterday to get all the information he needed to get the policy completed (We have 2 seperate services, in 2 seperate states, and needed Liability, WC, auto and business personal property, so YMMV.) Also in the midst of all the back and forth, he took the time to teach me a few things that my previous agent never did. Now, the next morning, my loan officer just responded back saying he has everything he needs now and we're moving forward with the loan!!! (This could have been done yesterday, but the loan officer is in eastern time, so he was gone for the day by the time we were ready.) I don't know how he did it, but Eric pulled it off. I believe he and his team saved my loan, saved my stress levels and will allow me to finally be able to sleep at night. After all, why should it take over a week to add 1 thing to a policy… luckily, now that I found Eric and his team I won't have to ask that question again. Thank you so much Eric!!! P.S. He somehow got me even better rates!!! P.P.S. Even after sending the email to my former agency saying if I don't get something over to my loan officer that day he's denying me, I STILL haven't heard a word.... Good riddance!!!!

For the first time in my life I have an a resource for asking about insurance I know I can trust. Imagine! I asked Eric about some of the features for car insurance advertised on TV, like new car replacement and accident forgiveness, and he explained how those "special" features work. We went over the insurance policy proposals for everything we were planning to insure. This time I knew what I was buying. This time my agent knew what was reasonable to buy and what might not be. I am a senior citizen and I had questions about the long term care insurance policies we have. I was not sure we should continue paying for these policies. I asked Eric if he would look over the policies and the premiums and tell me what I have. These long term care policies were not sold to us by Eric, still he did the research and told me what he had found, and what he thought. Eric made it possible for me to make a decision based on real information instead of emotional speculation. Eric saved us more than $1,000.00. It sounds like a lot of money, and it is a lot of money, but what really surprised me was the price of the premiums to insure the house and two cars was very close to what I would have paid to Farmers to insure only the house. Eric also walked me through what I needed to do to cancel our coverage with Famers Insurance. All in all I will be able to read and understand the insurance policies I purchased.

Briarcliff Insurance Group was great when I wanted to buy insurance from them. But after a couple years when I decided to go with another company they did not cancel my insurance when I asked them to. After I thought my policy was canceled I got a notice from the actual insurance company thanking me for a $2054 payment for my new policy period. I was livid. Lucas at Briarcliff never told me he needed a written cancellation request so the policy never got cancelled. So after the payment was processed I finally found out they needed a written request. Now I am down $2054 in my checking account and you know companies always take longer to refund money than to collect it. Because of my financial situation I will be able to weather this without bounding any checks, but some people may not be able to take a $2054 hit without problems. For full disclosure they are now cancelling the policy but the inconvenience of having a large unexpected debit is not worth it. I would stay away from this company. There are plenty of other insurance agents out there who are competent enough to cancel a policy when they are asked to do so.

I have been exasperated at how high insurance rates have gone recently and that the price they quote is NOT the price you wind up paying! I was told by a friend to reach out to Briarcliff Insurance company. That they will find the best rates available at only reputable companies. After talking to a representative, I felt comfortable in letting them do the work behind the scenes to find the best company to meet my needs. Had been trying to transfer auto policy for over a year, but my previous agent couldn't get anyone to believe that our car was indeed purchased with a clear title from a dealership in Idaho and had never been back to Indiana where somehow a salvage situation was reported to CarFax (after our purchase). Even with proof of a clear title from the dealer, CarFax was unwilling to fix the erroneous report.
