Having lived abroad for most of my 20s, I never had the opportunity to buy / own a car in Canada. So when I moved home this fall, I was truly daunted at the prospect of having to make such a large purchase. Buying a car is a bit of a minefield, especially when you have zero experience. My uncle - who is a car guy - raved about Bridgeport Motors and told me I should go see them right away (he has purchased 4 cars from them). We made the hour trip and were pleasantly surprised with the humbleness of their business, the nicely curated inventory of quality cars, and the total absence of sales pressure. Everything about the process was seamless, from the test driving and paperwork. We ended up taking home a 2012 VW Jetta that was in great shape. After seven weeks of ownership, we discovered a faulty latch on the driver-side door. Rob and Lou covered the cost to have it replaced with no questions asked. I would highly recommend buying a car here, and would definitely return when we’re next in the market for a new car! Thanks guys.

Wish I went here first! When I initially arrived on the lot, I was greeted by Rob with an umbrella in hand to cover me while the rain poured heavier and heavier. I was then encouraged to take as many cars as I saw fit for a test to make my decision (Rob told me to take my time and enjoy the process as it was a large expense). I told them my budget and they were fair and reasonable and didn't even attempt to push me out of my budget once! Once we found a car, the negotiations were simple and straight forward. We agreed on a pickup date and they delivered me a clean, fully certified, plated and full car. I couldn't be happier and I will most certainly be buying a car from them again! All car dealerships can learn a few things from these guys!!!!!!!

They may have a relatively small selection of vehicles to choose from but I would strongly suggest visiting them if they have something you're looking for. I dealt with Rob Buttera who was very friendly, helpful and forthcoming with information about the vehicle I was looking at as well as the way they do business. It's apparent they really care about the quality of the vehicles they sell in that they are responsible for necessary repairs prior to delivery and all of the cars on the lot looked to be in great shape. Having visited a number of other dealers beforehand, dealing with Bridgeport Motors was a refreshing experience.

I purchased a pair of used Winter tires/rims for my Prius. Rob and Lou are both honest, genuine, easy to deal with and they made the whole transaction seem less and didn’t feel pressured to purchase them when seeing the tires in person and also sharing some knowledge on tires with me. Thank you Rob and Lou! If ever you see a posting for these guys of then selling something - you won’t have any issues. You are well taken care of.

Dealt with Lou for the purchase of our Sons first vehicle...great experience from the time we stepped on the lot. Car was beyond clean and in great condition. Very honest and no pressure. After purchase had a minor issue and Lou was very helpful and willing to help. Problem solved at no cost to us! Will definitely look at Bridgeport again.
