Have been going to this dentist for over 20 years and whilst I must say the dentists themselves and their assistants are brilliant my last experience with them was let down by the treatment I received from their receptionist Tracy. After struggling to get an appointment with them for the last few years, always getting a busy tone and not having time to call back I finally decided to wait it out and get through to someone. I was told I would not be seen for a check up unless I paid £75 privately as I had apparently wavered my rights as an NHS patient by failing to make an appointment sooner, the alternative option was to be put on a ridiculously long waiting list. Ironically I was being punished for not having made an appointment whilst desperately trying to make an appointment! I decided to leave it, however the next month I felt a sharp pain in my tooth and called up again. Spoke to Tracy again who was incredibly rude and impatient from the beginning of the phone call. I explained why it had taken me so long to make a routine check up appointment in the first place- being too busy with work and day to day life activities to sit on hold. She then used this as an opportunity to berate me stating "as an adult you should know how to make an appointment." She then asked me why I didn't know how to send an email to which I replied I had no idea you could book via email. Becoming increasingly upset with her tone and put downs (and embarrassingly bursting into tears at one point) I informed her that both my partner and my sister were able to make appointments that week, she then demanded to know my sisters name and DOB and read out her history of appointments to me. Even when I told her I had spent £750 on a private treatment with them in the past she exclaimed that was 5 years ago and that it didn't matter. She was also quick to tell me to "go and find another dentist" multiple times even though I explained I didn't want to go elsewhere as I have only ever gone there. Not sure if she realised how awful she was being to me but in the end she offered me a £40 appointment. I have never been spoken to like that by a receptionist, such a shame as she lets down a fantastic team!

After coming to this surgery since childhood under the NHS, I was changed to a private patient by the practice without being informed. I wasn't told prior to booking the appointment or whilst booking my appointment. Anyway as I turned up to my appointment now I'm 5 months pregnant and a filling had come out I've been in pain for 2 weeks, I'm being told I have to pay for the treatment for a root canal by my dentist, I let her know that I don't mind paying but I'm pregnant and normally this should be free under NHS. She let's me know that I'm a private patient but she can see the previous appointments have been under NHS. She talks to the manager, the manager comes and tells me as I havent been for a few years they have moved me to private... I've said to her that you should have informed me, I've received no letter and nothing mentioned while booking the appointment about this situation. I also let her know that I am in a lot of pain and counted on this appointment as I have not been able to eat properly or work due to this. She refuses to budge and offers no apology or understanding as to why in previous years regardless of when I attended I was never moved to "private patient" but now all of a sudden I've been turned in to private without consent. The manager Rochelle felt very rude and had a lack of sympathy and I felt very judged by her, she said the NHS has no capacity... Well you seem to have capacity for your private patients but not for normal people... I am Tax manager who does not take advantage of the NHS and pay a lot of taxes each month, and when I needed the NHS I have been left feeling abandoned and judged by this manager. Who was also smirking and telling me if I've watched the news... which I have, thank you but perhaps you should go and recheck your processes and inform people of the decisions you are making on their behalf instead of being money hungry. This situation has left me very stressed and upset due to the condition I am in.

My husband and I have been using this practice for 15 years. We were very happy with Dr Patel the senior and Dr Davish Patel -- they are very professional, friendly and thorough. The practice, however, doesn't seem to pay attention to who they employ at the front staff. A few days ago, I was told by the receptionist (a new employee, I guess, as I have never seen her before) that I must pay for my treatment on the day I make the appointment, not after the appointment as usual. She 'explained' that 'this is because patients don't show up or they say they have no money'. As I said, my husband and I were using them for 15 years and we never missed an appointment, and, of course, always paid promptly. They employed one rude receptionist in the past; later, I guess, they got rid of her, as she was nasty to some patients. This new person seems to function as her replacement. My husband and I decided to go to a different surgery from now on. While we were happy with the professional and social skills of the dentists, we just don't want to deal with this kind of behaviour on the part of the receptionists (not all of them, of course, we've met some very friendly and professional ladies there).

Worst dental practice I have ever been to in my entire life. I had an appointment in August 2021 due to painful wisdom tooth. As a result my dentist recommended wisdom tooth extraction. I contacted the appointed hospital a few weeks later & they hadn’t received a request. Only to find out the dentist forgot to send the request, but mistakes happen right? I contacted the dentist informed them of this issue they apologised and assured they would resend the wisdom tooth extraction to kings college again but can you believe till this day kings college have yet to receive a request from them. I called my dental practice for the 7th time two days ago to resolve this issue they said they’d call me back I’ve yet to receive any call back. At this point I’ve sent a complaint to the NHS, they’re level of service is unorganised, unacceptable and quite frankly ridiculous. In response to your below response: Thank you for your condescending response, I do believe it will be difficult to find an abbreviation of my name on your system but not to worry you’ll be able to identify exactly who I am when the NHS make contact. I had a huge fear of the dentist and hadn’t visited for over three years as a result. However I was experiencing severe gum pain and knew I couldn’t put it off any longer. As someone with an irrational fear, I was recommended to visit Brigstock and I am so glad I did. I was seen by Dr Nisma Patel who was extremely friendly, communicative, understanding and ensured I felt as comfortable as possible. By the end of my appointment, she’d actually made the entire experience a pleasant one (something I never thought I’d say about the dentist!). I’ve since been back for a hygiene clean and, again, this was conducted in an environment in which I was made to feel completely at ease. If, like me, you have a huge fear of the dentist which prevents you from going then please book an appointment here as you sincerely won’t regret it. I’m even going back again in six months for a regular check up - something I wouldn’t have even contemplated just a few weeks ago.

My wife and I registered at Brigstock Road Practice last year when my wife needed a broken tooth to be looked at. As I had not been to the dentist for many years I decided to have a check up too and booked an appointment with Akshay. I was pleasantly surprised when he told me that there was nothing wrong with my teeth so I asked him about having them cleaned as I had never had my teeth cleaned before (I'm 62!) and was conscious of the amount of discolouring from much tea drinking over the years! He spent a good half an hour cleaning them and the result was amazing!! They looked and felt completely different after (with before and after photos too) and now, a year later, they still look so much better than they had done for many years. I would highly recommend getting your teeth cleaned here especially if you've not had them done before. Thanks Akshay

I was to have a new crown fitted by Dr Drew.  During my initial consultation with him, he was very thorough in explaining what the prep would entail.  He advised that it would be 'touch and go' whether the fitting would be successful because I literally didn't have enough of a tooth to work with. I am pleased to say that my crown was fitted successfully. I would definitely recommend him as he was very professional and put me at ease throughout the process.  Thanks Dr Drew (and the dental nurse) for your perseverance as it paid off!!  Keep up the excellent work. I have been with Bristock Dentist for sometime now. I had gum disease and was referred to the hygienist for treatment. I met with this amazing, wonderful and lovely lady Nusarat Jahan who treated me with respect and love. She really showed much concern and had a wonderful treatment and advice on how to care for the gums to make my teeth stronger again to help keep them for sometime rather than extraction. I am doing my best to use the interdental brushes and also try to attend every session of my appointment to help keep both teeth and gums clean. I will recommend Bristock dentist and especially hygienist Nusarat Jahan to anyone who will need their services.

I have been attending this dental practice for more than 25 years and have always received absolutely first-class treatment. The dentists treating me have been extremely professional, competent and courteous at all times. Because I have a particularly sensitive palate, I am a rather difficult patient to treat - requiring a dentist to work with a great deal of care and consideration. That has always been the case. The Surgery is very smart and up to date. All the support staff are as professional and considerate as the dentists. I cannot praise this practice enough and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the very best dentistry available.

I am a old NHS CLIENT who has been declined treatment in this dentist as I haven’t been for so long . Now I have saved up enough money for a check up I wouldn’t use them anyway (in fact I had to pull one of my teeth out myself because they wouldn’t treat me)The female dentist upstairs on my last visit didn’t descale my teeth properly and on my way out at the door produced a worn out toothbrush from a draw advising me how to brush my teeth and she probably got paid for that absolutely disgraceful so I don’t think your going to have my saved up money shame because I need hundreds of pounds worth of treatment shame on you

This was an appointment I was not looking forward to at all (double tooth extraction)! However, I was greeted by Dr Drew Langan who immediately made me feel at ease. He guided me through each step even administering the dreaded local anaesthetic….again, with ease. THEN……..on came the music, respectable volume off course, all my favourite tracks too. I was so relaxed I didn’t feel A THING!!! In fact I was actually humming all the way through the procedure (extractions and sutures). Overall, this has got to be the best experience I have encountered since visiting this practice. Thank you Dr Langan keep up the good work!

I love this dentist! I've been a patient for a couple of years now and really glad I joined. My dentist is great, thorough, patient and explains everything to me as well as giving me straight advice. I don't usually have to wait to be seen either, which is a bonus. My children are also patients here but do not see my dentist. Their dentist is usually running late which is frustrating as I book all their appointments in back to back blocks. I'd also like to ask again if they can fix their online booking system as this is very convenient for patients and must be of benefit to admin too? Keep up the good work though!

Brigstock Dental is such a wonderful dental practice. Everyone who works there is so professional, courteous and kind. Vishal is just the best dentist. Not only a true expert in what he does, he also has a very reassuring manner which puts me at ease. I trust him completely which removes the usual stress and anxiety about going to the dentist. The two fillings I had replaced recently were done skillfully and without pain - the nurse, Anca, was also highly experienced and made me feel well looked after. I'm grateful and thankful to them both. I can't recommend Brigstock Dental highly enough!

I've been attending this surgery for years and when my previous dentist Akshay left I was gutted as I had total trust in him which is important for me as I'm petrified of the dentist. I'm was so relieved when Shabana joined the surgery she is amazing at what she does, and really puts you at ease. I am so pleased she joined the surgery. It would be nice I'd the surgery started to take on more NHS patients as they used to though as I know people who want to be a patient there but they can't afford to go private and they are therefore missing out on treatment so please reconsider this!

Dr Patel was amazing. He gave my ten year old twin daughters and I very useful tips and suggestions regarding brushing and routines, and was very complimentary about my daughters' cleaning regime and the excellent condition of their mouths and bright whiteness of their teeth. They were both so very impressed with themselves to know they are doing an excellent job. Dr Patel's manner and approach is so courteous and friendly and he is so warm and approachable. I and my ten year old twin girls would thoroughly recommend this dentist due to his excellent service and depth of knowledge.

I've been going to Nisma ever since I've been going to the dentist on my own. (I'm 24 now). She's my favourite so I'm sad to know that she'll be leaving to travel. I've recently got my crown fitted and it has turned out wonderful. She's worked very hard to adjust it and make it comfortable. Her assistant Yulianna is also so kind and caring. They work well together and I enjoy visiting them. The receptionist Tracy is always good fun as she signs me in and out of appointments. Overall, excellent experience all around. I've never had any problems

After having struggled with various dental issues for quite some time, I cannot recommend Brigstock enough. I have been treated by Dr Nisma Patel for a filling and an extraction, and the overall experience was faultless. Nisma is an extremely friendly, communicative and understanding dentist, and made me feel completely at ease throughout. Nurse Gabi was also fantastic at making sure I was comfortable and they both ensured I understood everything in advance of each procedure. Brigstock Dental Practice is staffed by great people. The receptionists are welcoming and helpful, especially Tracey. The Doctors are fantastic. Dr Shabana Buth, who looks after my wife and I, is amazing. We both sing her praises for her caring nature and professionalism. She is knowledgeable, helpful and brings a spark of light in the darkness of one's dental issues. I have coming to Bristock Dental for over 3 years and i am devoted patient of Hygienist Nusarat who I absolutely adore as a person as well as for the professionalism and very empathetic approach . I had a very bad bleeding few years ago and with the care and advise i made gigantic steps and it got so much better . She is so caring and she has a very personal approach with me as she takes extra care in sensitive areas of my mouth and never rushed the treatment . The dentist Was very professional, but the reception I had bad experience, I missed one Appointment because I was sick, and because this they wanted to charge me extra, so there isn’t free, I missed because I was sick, they should put for another day, and plus I already Paid half of the money they should just change the day, put me for another day when have time, but they wanted charge me extra. I am very disappointed and very unhappy with reception people’s. But again the dentist was very professional and educated.

I'm a new patient and this was my first visit, and first check up since covid, so I wasn't sure how things would go! I couldn't have been more pleased with the service. Friendly staff, they explained everything that was going on clearly, and gave nice simple advice to follow between check ups (which I'll be back for!). I'm not someone who worries about the dentist generally, but given how friendly and warm the team were, I imagine they're great with nervous visitors. Definitely would recommend them.

My daughter booked a last minute appointment with Dr Davesh Patel on the day as he managed to fit me in while she was scheduled for routine check up as i have a painful ulcer in my mouth. I was referred by my current dentist for specialist root canal treatment. The dental specialist Dr Navai inspired confidence throughout the assessment. He was very definite that he would come to an independent diagnosis as there appeared to be confusion as to the problem. He recommended an alternative treatment in detail to my current dentist who is more local. I would have no hesitation in recommending this practice to all and I only wish it was more local to me.

Couldn’t be more impressed with this dentist surgery. First visit was for wisdom tooth extraction. I’m very nervous about any kind of dental work and decided against sedation in the end as was so reassured by Nishma at the initial consultation. Gabi, the nurse who assisted her was amazing too and Kora on reception was lovely at making me feel calm for the appointment. I had a very good experience visiting Brigstock Dental. The receptionists are very helpful and polite. Lucy, who deep cleaned some of my teeth was very good and gave me good advise. Nisma, who extracted some of my broken teeths was very friendly and professional. She explained me my situation and what needs to be done very well. The extraction itself was carried out very precise and highly focused. I wish I would have come 10 years earlier to Brigstock Dental.

Have not been to the dentist in awhile not a great fan, believing if it don't hurt I don't need them. But after getting some problems and needing a dentist went to them being just around the corner from me. Found the staff to be very friendly and the dentist Nisma, (even though looking like she had just got the day of school) very very good at her profession. I will no longer have any fears about going to the dentist. (will never enjoy it but no more fears).

Since first being treated by Davesh Patel at my local practice in Ashford in Kent, I happily travel 110km to have a consultation and treatment at Brigstock Centre, because he is the finest specialised dental surgeon I could have working on my teeth. I cannot speak highly enough of his judgement, skill and gentleness. I confidently recommend him to all my family and friends, despite the distance they will have to travel from south east Kent to see him.

Saw Mr Hussain, the new dentist. I started off by explaining that I have a real fear of dentists, he was absolutely fantastic, explained what he was doing and then discussed what we could do with a particular tooth. I felt totally in control and was reassured by his lovely manner and his thorough explanations. I have never had an unpleasant visit to this surgery and would strongly recommend it to anyone. Brilliant is the only word to use.

The team went out of their way as the last patient of the day to examine, start my root canal treatment and stabilise my tooth. I am new to this practice but have been a few times due to problems with my teeth. I have found the receptionist and dentist very pleasant and professional. Yes, you have to pay something in advance, which I didn't have to do at my last place, but I understand why. My only request is for a secure bike stand for those of us who live a little further away and would like to avoid using a car or public transport.

I had hygienist cleaning appointment and it was my first time visiting this clinic and I experienced a great service from Nusarat who served me. Feeling awesome now after cleaning done. Very professionalism, pleasant approach, kindness and understanding. At the end she gave me a good consultation and recommendations of what I need to do after my first cleaning. Incredibly rude, unprofessional and selfish. My sister was led to believe she was covered under NHS for her dental care as she is a regular client however, they had put her under private without informing her. As a heavily pregnant woman, there was no care or consideration shown. Rochelle was rude and had no respect for her clients. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be scammed.

Had treatment done by Nisma, who was as absolute pleasure, didn’t even remember I was at the dentist. Nisma made me so at ease and was very attentive, explained everything she was doing during my treatment, I couldn’t ask for a better dentist! Also Juliette the dental assistant was great. My experience at Brigstock was extremely positive. I moved house a few years ago but hadn’t yet registered to a new dentist, and the lockdown caused some procrastination on my part. However, both the hygiene appointment and the dental work were fantastic. They were very patient and meticulous, I’m extremely happy with the outcome.

Referred by my usual dentist, I have since been under the care of Dr. Patel, who replaced one of my teeth with an implant, after my own had splintered. I had an Emergency appointment with Ottilie Rayment who listened to my concerns, was gentle and most importantly was able to offer me with some temporary relief and advice until I see my regular dentist. I would come back without hesitation and would recommend this Dental Practice and the lovely Doctor.

Really found the practice friendly and they were able to put my mind at rest as getting a root canal. The only thing that could be improved was n acknowledge by staff as I was waiting to see the dentist. I wasnt sure who would be seeing me but saw the same staff pass me on a couple of a occasions.

My visit to the practice is always met with charming and caring staff. The receptionists are outstanding in every respect. The hygienist cleaned my teeth thoroughly and with care. She then explained my condition and discussed dental implant options for the future.

Have been attending this Practice since 1998. It has grown!. I find the staff and Mr Patel very accomodating, helpful and will give adive, costs etc if necessary for more extensive work. The reception is very welcoming and thankful of their service.

Since one year I have been a patient of this dental clinic and I am very satisfied so far. I have been treated by Nusarat and Davesh and they were both professional and kind. I am glad to have such a nice clinic in my borough, I warmly recommend it!

Had a great experience at Brigstock dental centre. My dentist Reza Davari was very cool (one of the coolest dentists). Made me feel very comfortable with my treatment and I would say he definitely has an amazing playlist to calm your nerves!.

Senior Patel is by far the best dentist I have ever been too. I had a check up and hygiene clean done in 2 days and teeth and gums have never felt better. Receptionist was lovely too. Highly recommended.

This is my third visit (since Covid). On all occasions staff have been most courteous and professional, fitting me in for a quick check when I had concerns after a consultation.

Do not come here they will ruin your teeth and not accept any responsibility! The staff are incredibly rude. If you're thinking of sending a loved one here for treatment don't!
