My experience with brilliant earth was absolutely terrible. Costumer service was a complete joke. I had to call multiple times to ask for help and never received any. One customer service rep said that my concerns were never noted. Finally After calling 5 times and every time I called the costumer service reps told me someone would be contacting me in 24-48 hours to help with my concerns and when nobody had contacted me I called and asked for a manager. I waited again the 24-48 hours while finally a manager did contact me. They did not resolve my issue and I finally asked for my ring to be sent back. Apparently if you get your jewelry worked on by any other company besides brilliant earth they will not touch your jewelry without a liability contract signed, which basically states that they are not responsible for any damage that happens to your jewelry in their possession. In my situation it was my wedding ring, I sent in my ring in perfectly good condition asking for it to be cleaned, And they wanted me to sign my ring off stating that they would not be liable if they lost the diamond, damaged the diamond, scratched the diamond, broke a prong, or any other damage done. I told them that I did not want to sign this in order for my ring to be cleaned. I said I am simply just asking for a cleaning. They told me that they could not clean my ring without these liability forms signed. I told them that is ridiculous and they could send my ring back because I will not be signing those forms. I told them this is just for a cleaning, they told me that they could not do it. And this was with a manager. I told they how unable I was and how terrible their costumer service was and what I had to go through and there response was “sorry” after over a month I am hoping I get my ring back. When I bought my ring I specifically bought it from brilliant earth because I liked the company. After my experience with costumer service I would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone. They are not helpful, they outsource their costumer service. And you simply cannot get your jewelry worked on. I went in to the Portland location thinking that the jeweler there would clean my ring at my appointment time. However, they had to send it out to I believe New Jersey to where I guess they clean and repair jewelry? So all in all this was a horrible experience. For people that pay thousands and thousands of dollars for there jewelry like myself, you think they would be a little more helpful and accommodating. Do not do business with this company. I would also like to include I have never written a review in my life and this is my first one. I am so disappointed they I felt i had to write this. The money that I spent with this company for them to be like this is terrible.

Do not get jewelry from this place! We have had the worst experience working with them. We bought a $4,000 wedding band for my fiancée and it was made horribly so we had them remake the ring. The second time that we got the ring back it was the wrong size and the quality of the ring was very poor. We asked for a refund and they would not give us a refund because of their 30 day policy, but we never even had the ring in our possession. After fighting with them about the horribly made ring they said they would remake it again and guarantee that it would be made correctly, in the right size, and they would get it to us fast because we are getting married soon. We just got the ring back, and it arrived later than they said it would and it is the wrong size. We are so frustrated and upset over this entire process. They have tried to “fix” the ring 4 times. We are getting married in 3 weeks and this company is refusing to work with us and they are trying to give us a very poor quality ring. When we were in the store to talk to them about our ring, someone else was in there complaining about the ring that they bought and that this was their second time coming in to fix the ring because their ring was made poorly and the diamond kept falling out. This place does false advertisement and they make low quality rings. The side by side picture is of their display ring versus the ring that was made for us. You can clearly see that their display ring has a smooth surface and even diamonds and the ring that they gave us has an uneven surface and poorly placed diamonds.

Don't buy your engagement ring here. We bought an engagement ring here and have been nothing but disappointed. Quality was poor and the stone was loose after wearing the ring for just a few weeks. They told us that it was not a defect on their part. We have now gotten the run-around from their customer service for the last two months. We sent the ring in for repair and it is a very very long and questionable process, we haven't had the ring for almost a month and we don't know where it is. I'm sure we will get it back, but not exactly what you're looking for. Do not make the same mistake we did and spend thousands of dollars on a ring here. I only write this review to hopefully save some poor souls from going through what we have gone through. Trust me you do NOT want to deal with all of this when you get engaged. Just go somewhere you can trust.

Overall I had a good experience with the Portland location. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The only things I had issues with is that I had special ordered a wedding ring to stack with my engagement ring that they didn’t have in stock to try on. When it arrived, it didn’t fit with my engagement ring. I would recommend the company to provide exact dimensions and measurements of their rings so we could’ve determine whether or not the ring was going to stack with engagement rings. Also the customer service hotline was a hit or miss. They were all friendly but many of them said that they were going to email me back or call me back but never did.

I had an amazing experience with Brilliant Earth! Our consultant Eva was super helpful with constructing the perfect ring, taking the time to show me every ring I was interested in and putting together the order with our specifications. Really made the process seamless. When the ring came in after 2 weeks, it was a little too big but they have a 30 day return policy/ resizing policy. They said it would take an addition 2-4 weeks but it showed up within a week! I love all of their nature inspired rings, each setting is so unique and not like anything I’ve seen! Really makes my ring feel unique and custom to me!

Best ring shopping experience ever!!! We went to several local places before coming here, and those places were a nightmare compared to the experience we had a brilliant earth. All staff, particularly Nikki, we’re so incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and pressure free! We had a private showroom to explore all the options to find our dream ring! Pricing was so reasonably and they had so many environmentally friendly options. I would recommend them to anyone for anything!! We were treated like VIPs and I can’t wait to come back for any of my friends. You’ll want to buy your ring here!!!!

Had such a great experience with the Portland location. Scheduling was made very easy, booking about a week out with various times to choose from. We asked for specific stones to see from their website and all of them came in time to view. All the staff is super friendly and knowledge, especially Sierra. She was able to help us narrow down our favorite two diamonds, without any pressure to buy soon. Would highly recommend this store for anyone looking for high quality jewelry!

Made an appointment to check out a few engagement rings at Brilliant Earth. They were able to bring in several specific ring styles that I had asked for when I first scheduled the appointment. Nice touch offering water and chocolate when we first walked in. Our jewelry consultant, Eva, was friendly, helpful and put us at ease as we weren’t pressured into buying anything during the consultation. Lasted about an hour and she answered all the questions I could think of.

Eric was super helpful and resoureful. They listened, followed up, provided suggestions, and amended our visits to all our specifics. We were treated with respect and truly felt like Eric was there to help us find an engagement ring that was incredibly special to us. Thanks to Eric, Brilliant Earth is a jeweler we will keep in mind for all our fine jewelry needs. I am excited to recommend this store and experience!

If I were you, do not drop thousands of dollars to this place. The quality of the product is absolute trash and if you have a problem with your ring and have it sent out for fixing, I promise you won’t see it for months! Plus everyone in this company is a liar, and not ethical whatsoever. The workers are treated very poorly and do not handle any bullying. Good luck if you did purchase here

I had a great experience visiting Brilliant Earth! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I felt like our consultant Eva was very knowledgeable. She took the time to show me every ring I was interested in, gave good input, and made the process clear for me. I walked out feeling like I had a way better idea of the ring I want.
