Went to catch the Maple Leaf game. Had to ask them to put the game on one of the TVs because they had curling on instead. Hardly anyone in there for a Saturday night which we were told was unusual. Ordered the nachos as pictured below. Not bad but could have used another minute under the grill to melt the cheese. Served with a very tasty homemade salsa and sour cream. Chicken wings were just a touch overdone and dry but the flavor was really good. We ordered Thai chili. Cherry cheesecake was a generous portion for the price and tasted good as was The Tuxedo cake. Their desserts are inexpensive. Beer here is very inexpensive and is served super ice cold which is nice. Just as a side note this place is freezing cold. We ended up sitting with our jackets on for the entire night because it was so cold. This kept the beer cold but also made our food cold long before it should have been. Service was quick and attentive but given that there were less than 10 people in the bar I would expect no less. Our server was friendly and chatty ( she might have also been lonely given there was hardly any people in the bar) This location used to be Lucy Seafood. The booths and most of the tables are the same and are starting to look a bit tired. Chairs are mismatched as are the tables not that it really matters. As stated in other reviews there are some interesting characters who inhabit the bar area and are quite obviously regulars. Have to visit again sometime in order to see what it's really like because our server assured us it's usually busy. Overall there are worse options. This is okay nothing spectacular but not bad. Lots of free parking as this is located in a Plaza. They do have a very small patio but it's right off the parking lot and facing a busy road. No we did not sit out there because it's February and it was freezing.

Didn't appreciate how dishonest they were when it came to the prices on their website and the prices in their menu. We were drawn to the cheaper beer that was advertised on the website only to find out at bill time that the beer was full price. $6.50 as opposed to $4.96 on the website. Definitely a sports venue experience because I felt like I was buying beer at the Rogers Centre. The Burgers came with a couple of sides. She asked if we would like to change our sides and proceed to list them off, then when we replied "we can do that" she told a very enthusiatic 'YES'. We never asked if it was going to be charged as a side or as a premium and we didn't think we needed to, but they charged us full price. $5 for poutine and $5 for onion rings. It would have been nice to mention that. When we asked the server about it after, she did what she could to help out the situation but had to keep checking with the manager for guidance. The third time she came back, we asked for the manager himself. She leaves and comes back with a $5 bill to compensate for only one of the sides. Manager couldn't even talk to us himself. Food was good. Probably a nice hangout for big sports fans but the dishonesty was the reason I have no desire to return.

Wow! This place is great for any sports lover! There is ample tvs and loads of viewing spots to comfortably enjoy your team. Very spacious and lots tables and spaces to sit or stand to watch the game. However, its the food you need to try! Their fries are simply amazing and the portions are more than adequate especially if you have kids and you are sharing the portion. But the portion sizes aren't limited to the fries whether its liver and onions or wings or a simple burger you won't this place hungry. Ample amount of beers on tap - as well as bottles and tall boys. But the main reason I will continuously return is the service which from the owner across to serving staff *( I don't believe in a trickle down system) you can see the pride that everyone has in making sure you not only enjoy your game but you'll return in the future. If you're a soccer fan i.e. - EPL this is your spot, zero restrictions to seeing your fav. team play with limited service interruptions. Again please go this place and enjoy your time and appetite being full-filled you won't be disappointed! Well done Bristol Bar and Grill!

This place has always been my go to, and still will be because of the ambience specially when there are games. Today I found the service beyond bad and not sure if it was just an off day. - When asked for hot sauce, there isna surcharge of 99c. While all the condiments are free, charging for hot sauce seems to be a little bit odd. - Fish and chips came our in 20 mins, while pizza came out after 35 mins. The place wasn't busy at all, however could see the chefs all kids and were busy chatting away in kitchen. - Not sure if the server we got was new, but told us that I'm not giving you cutlery because u are having a pizza, is that ok? Didn't know that servers make decisions on behalf of customers any more. I've been here countless number of times, and I just hope today was just an off day, but many of the regular servers are not there any more. I just hope customer service is still at the center of attention because the food still is good.

Had dinner at this bar for the first time a few weeks back. We were a family of 6, with 2 small kids 2&4, and was a little worried it wouldn't be a place for them. To our surprise the bar was above and beyond expected. The meal portions were generous, came nice and hot, drinks were poured fast, and when the bill came, it was very very reasonable. The server (I believe her name was Nina) gave us great recommendations for the kids, and even got us off menu desserts to top off the night. She came throughout the night to check on us multiple times, was always patient with our multiple requests, and always served with a smile (hard to come by these days). It was great to find this hidden gem, and will return again.

Edit. I visit this place often. My latest visit disappointed me. The double chicken breast I ordered was undercooked. So taking a star off to let the chef know. Earlier review: The food is awesome, delicious and filling for a good price. The screening is great, there are many huge TVs with a variety of games playing. The ambience is also amazing, the decorations make you feel at home. The waiting time is reasonable, and our waitress was nice as well. A friend of mine had recommended this place and didn't warn me of the atmosphere. This is just one of those places to chill and watch a game. The atmosphere is giving more of a chill vibe. Thought it was a little more fancy like a Moxies. Nun the less, the NACHOS is one of the best I've had! However, their wings lack seasoning, and I mean no salt, no pepper. If there was a hint of seasoning, their wings would be up there. It was quite upsetting that they didn't server blended drinks and ran out of fruits for a Sangria. Had to settle with a soft drink. I would go back and hoping the wings were just off that night.

Honestly it was amazing! The waitresses are so kind and the service was very quick. The Bristol Burger was so good as every flavour complimented each other. Also the chicken wings were nice and saucy and it was absolutely perfect. My vegetarian friend absolutely loved the vegetarian version of the jambalaya, she said it had a the perfect kick to it while still being nice and savoury. Honest opinion it’s the best place to get together and watch all the games as there is a wide variety of TV’s. Definitely will go back again!

Great service from Jennifer. We ordered mussels as an appetizer then we ordered it again for the main(mussels with white wine). It was so good! We also ordered the signature Bristol burger and that was also great! For the cost you really get a great value and great taste! My mom and I ended up getting some apps and two mains. When I asked about the Jambalaya the waitress did mention it was a big portion. However she did not mention that everything was a big portion! I ate so much that I was not able to eat all of my main and typically I finish all the food I order this is a rare occurrence for me. I was recently recommended Bristol Bar from a coworker who happens to know the owner. I’ve already ordered take out like 5 times lol the quality and taste is excellent!! I’m obsessed! I’ve tried different dishes and all have been amazing!! They take great care in packaging your food for take out and freshness is notable Very abundant and delicious! The seafood with garden salad is one of my favourites.

The food was really delicious. We went out with my family and they enjoyed the food thoroughly. We ordered chicken wraps and home made style cut fries. It was crunchy and crisp. The grilled chicken sandwich that we ordered was really a good choice. You get a very generous amount of food. The service was excellent as well. I’ll give 5 star ratings for this great restaurant.
