I used to love this place :( I am a local- but I popped in yesterday to see if they carried a diffuser oil that I love for Christmas time - they do! And its priced at $31.50. I picked up the bottle to make sure it was the right product, as I’ve smelled it many times before, and clearly the person prior to me had picked it up, loosened the lid and some of the oil had spilled onto the bottle. The bottle was so slippery, flew out of my hand and onto the ground and spilled. I immediately apologized profusely and explained myself, and the employee came over. She then told me that’s it’s “their policy” that I would have to pay for the item. I told her I didn’t open it, it just dropped out of my hand. She continued to say that I would need to pay for it. I told her I wasn’t going to, in front of a whole store full of people who stared on. Talk about embarrassing! Both employees glared at me when I left the store, and did not thank me even though I still stupidly made a purchase cause I felt so awkward. I want to support small business this time of year but indigo or Williams Sonoma would NEVER have that policy. It’s insane. You need to have a budget for broken/defected items, or a sign that says “please don’t touch, or- if you break it you buy it”. Better yet, you could be less cheap and offer testers!! I won’t be back here! I don’t support that kind of treatment in any environment! Unless you are willing to wear a straight jacket inside the store to prevent bumping into anything, Take your business elsewhere.

Went in this afternoon with my wife and there were two ladies working and in the 15 min we were there not a single one of the ladies said hello to us or goodbye or asked us if we needed help. We even heard one of them talking about a staff member being “rubish”. I don’t understand when mom and pop shops complain about large corporations running them out of business but then have to worst customer service to a point they don’t even say hello when you walk into their store. And we were the only ones in the stores at the time and they both walked past us a couple of times. Just because of this I will never set foot in that store again. If I’m gonna get rude staff I might as well just go to the big guys, at least the prices will be cheaper.

I'm surprised anyone could write a bad review about this place! I've been shopping here for years and the service and the products have always been outstanding. My favorite shop by far for all of my high end kitchen needs and the one store I visit every Christmas for my shopping. Check it out and you'll love it like I do!

I was in this store the other day, and was amazed at the great selection of kitchen products and gift items in the store. The staff was also very helpful in finding items, as well as offering to order things that weren't in stock. Great place to look for a gift or something for the kitchen.

Super friendly and helpful staff, i forgot to ask her name though but she was really patient with me and got me a better deal in choosing a gift for my friend. Definitely will recommend this place!
