Disappointing Experience at Britannia Pharmacy I recently had a frustrating experience with Britannia Pharmacy that compelled me to share my disappointment. The service at the pharmacy was subpar, as the staff seemed more engrossed in chatting than assisting customers. I ordered a repeat prescription from my surgery, and upon attempting to collect it, I was told they hadn't received it. After verifying with the surgery twice, it was evident they had sent it, prompting the surgery to submit an emergency prescription request - a situation that felt deliberate after I previously complained about their unprofessional conduct. The overall ethos and professionalism at Britannia Pharmacy are seriously lacking. If such behaviour persists, I am considering taking this matter further.

I occasionally go to this pharmacy to collect a prescription. I used to tell them the name and address discreetly, but they would like to confirm the details out loud in front of other customers. I then started writing the name and address on a piece of paper and give it to them, but they still insisted on a verbal confirmation. Few times they kept me waiting for over fifteen minutes because they couldn’t find the prescription, then also of a sudden they would find prescription and medication waiting to be collected right underneath their nose. Some of the staff members are polite and helpful, most of them have an attitude problem and pretend to act professional when clearly they are incompetent.

Went in to pick up 1 medication for my son and it took 30 minutes. Not because it was busy but because the pharmacist was too busy with his colleagues. After waiting I asked how much longer it will take and that's when I realised they hadn't even started on his prescription. And even more annoying it was just a olive oil drop off the shelf. Even I could have picked it up. Then asked if I could have the one with the syringe dropper but was told quite rudely 'No' it's more expensive. The difference between the both was of 40p. Surely if it was stated in the prescription to give the syringe they would not have questioned it at all. Not a good service at all

Sign says only two people in store at a time. I peaked inside and saw at least two people in there so I waited outside. Then someone left. So logically, one person out one person in, right? I walked in and was berated quite rudely saying there are too many people here I need to wait outside. Then realised there are more people sitting on the chairs. I mean I'm happy to wait outside, but don't start getting rude because YOU aren't following your own rules. Rude woman. Honest feedback, sort out the attitude. Makes a huge difference. I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to the manager Sunil, he went through hell and back to help me. I came to this pharmacy last week and he was patient with me. He answered all my questions and queries and was very knowledgeable. He knew what I needed and I would 100% be going back there. I don’t really like pharmacies (for obvious reasons) but I was definitely appeased with the managers customer skills and positive attitude. Thank you once again Sunil and hope to see you soon. Amazing Pharmacy, professional and courteous. Great customer service and really caring individuals, never have to wait around for long. There’s enough pharmacists working and everyone gets seen to quite quickly. They’ll even ask on a regular basis if you’ve been seen to which I really like. Kwabs is a gentleman, really professional and attentive, knows his stuff. Not sure what they’re paying them here but they all need a pay rise, most certainly a bonus!

Have to wait outside for ages in the cold and then for another half an hour inside whilst they find the prescription. They need a better system . . .old, ill and vulnerable people cannot be stood outside in the heat or cold for that long. Get the staff to collect the prescriptions at the door or the name and so the prescription can be found earlier and less waiting time. No care for customers having to wait for ages outside.

Not a place to go! Staff rude and extremely unhelpful. They split a prescription into two to collect two prescription price instead of one even though the prescriptions are in one pack e.g. canesten combi pessary and external cream although the two are together in one pack, they attempted to charge for them separately . Got it as a single prescription in Boots.

Please avoid this pharmacy very slow service, staff wasting time talking to each other rather serving the customers, etc. etc...Avoid this pharmacy.... also staff pretending themselves they are some scientists rather pharmacist...behaves the person they serving is dumb and they are the only educated in this world....

Avoid this place 100%...Not friendly at all... Make sure to check the expiry date of your medications... Old stocks are being given to customers and some medications would only have a month of expiry date. I had this issues for more than once on my prescriptions antibiotics and Diamicron. Be warned.

Bright, tidy and presentable. Convenient location for prescriptions but not the place to go for minor ailments. Dispensing pharmacists can be rude and unhelpful, often communicating through counter staff rather than directly to the customer. Frustrating if it's a sensitive issue.

Probably the worst pharmacy is Barking. Waited 25mins for a prescription. First told the medicines out of stock 5mins later its in stock. 25mins later still waiting and i was the only one there first 10mins. I was front of the que. Really rude staff and useless pharmacist.

Absolutely brilliant pharmacy, I have my mum’s medication prepared there (dosset box) and staff are friendly and professional. They make all the requests from the GP before had so there literally is nothing for you to do other than collect! Amazing stuff and keep it up

Really bad customer service offered at this location. Not friendly at all... Check the expiry date of your medications... Short dated stocks are being given to customers and some medications would only have few months of expiry date.

I find the negative reviews a bit surprising, I don’t go often, just once a month to pick up my repeat meds and the pharmacist recognises me and gets my meds ready almost immediately. Counter staff are polite and efficient too.

It's a good community pharmacy. They're normally well stocked but often you have to come back for part of your prescription. They can be busy at times, but the staff are nice and helpful.
