Have to agree the surrounds are beautiful. Visited the park 28th January 9:30am for a BBQ ....Four BBQ'S only 1 working ? this has been the case for some time. This is very disappointing for all who visited the park, these units are not very complicated as they are a simple electric BBQ Christies is the brand ..not many moving parts. The rangers were extremely friendly and embarrassed. Its noted additional BBQ's are going in with wheel chair access which is fantastic. However the council should have had a contingency plan in place, especially considering the expensive parking which is in place. From 9:30 till 4:30 approximately four groups were able to cook.

Stunning park, from the beach back. The beach is great with the cafe and change rooms then the grass with lots of little 4 share cabins / tables perfect for couples or a small family. Lots of Electrical bbq to use. Then a short walk in there is a little waterfall in a beautiful little bush area. Parking isn't free and it's a bit hard to come by but worth it.
Playground
Large space for most age groups
Restrooms
Old style that I really appreciated with open sky visible. Beautiful and sadly not seem very much any more
Picnic area
This was so we'll set up. It accommodates a lot of smaller groups without seeming over crowded

Bronte Park in Sydney is a picturesque and serene destination nestled along the stunning coastline. With its lush greenery, inviting picnic spots, and close proximity to the beach, it's an ideal place for families and friends to relax and enjoy a day out. The park also features a children's playground, making it suitable for kids as well. The soothing sound of waves crashing nearby adds to the overall charm. It's an excellent place to unwind and take in the natural beauty of Sydney's eastern suburbs.

Top place for family fun! I came here many times with my family as a child! Family BBQ, s I still can remember the great times here. There is plenty of things to do here including a natural rock pool for the children and a beautiful swimming pool. Across the road is a number of good restaurants and cafes
Playground
Nice playground
Restrooms
Restrooms were clean
Picnic area
Large picnic area with free BBQ, s and gazebos

This is a great park because it is right on a surf beach and linked to other popular suburbs by the coastal walk network (Bondi etc). Within the park there is a small kid's train thrill ride, sheltered and open seating and surf club with kiosk. On Bronte road there's a strip of cafe's with reasonably priced food (surprisingly). There is lot's of parking and some good walking track/paths to take in the nice views or admire the beautiful homes.

  • LALIT UTTAM

The park adjacent to the Bronte beach has some breath taking views. A perfect place for doing a morning walk and some yoga exercise. The sun rise at this place really looks amazing. The beach has a small swimming pool which is very good as well. Overall, this place is fully of scenic beauty and i would recommend everyone to visit this place during the morning time as it looks most beautiful out there at that time.

  • Judith Chang

So beautiful. An interesting spot to watch the surfers do their thing
Restrooms
There is a changing room area in the restroom area as well which is nice to change after swimming and not have to do it in a cramped stall
Dog-friendliness
Lots of dogs were there and having a great time
Picnic area
Lots of available tables for picnics in a nice shelter

  • kev dawson

I love this place, it has the pool for the little ones (or people who don't like the surf) the sand is amazing, the view is amazing, the grassed parkland is amazing and there are cafe's within walking distance if you want a coffee or juice. There is parking near by, metered but never the less a great alrounder. Ticks all the boxes!

  • Genna Merrin

Gorgeous, lovely boho style suburb with great little places to have breakfast ( will need to get in early as all the little cafes get full rather quickly). Nice not having cars and pubs ( drinking holes) located right on the beach creating a thoroughfare, like other beaches. Catch a bus there and enjoy the experience even more.

  • Bee

Pools were very underwhelming and went on a day that swimming was off the cards unfortunately. However a great hidden away Beach and the on site cafe makes great food and drinks! Parking is a nightmare, free parks are at least a 10 minute walk away and not accessible. Paid parking is available but at a high cost

  • Daelbai C

Absolutely brilliant park with multiple tables and wide open spaces right next to the sands of stunning Bronte Beach. Cafes, showers and loos in abundance. A brilliant scenic and peaceful spot on weekdays. Extremely popular weekends and crowded with hundreds of people on Summer weekends. Weekdays recommended.

  • Chris Flesser

Beautiful little Sydney beach. Retains lots of old world charm. Heaps of parkland surrounding the beach. Lots of amenities. Very family friendly. Cafes and eateries across the road. Lifeguards patrol the beach. The surf can be treacherous, so be careful. There is a sheltered swimming area for young children.

  • Dian Putri

We came with an infant and happily surprised that the "children beach" side, next to the rock pool is really nice, with shallow-no waves water, where they can also enjoy both the sand and the water. On summer days, it's perfect. Only be patient on finding parking spot. Other than that, all was awesome!

  • Clément Parazon

One of the nicest beaches in the eastern suburbs, plenty of public BBQs for the family weekends at the beach (so the crowd is usually quite young), a big playground for kids, and covered picnic areas. The beach itself is nice and big and there's a tidal pool if you don't like the waves!

  • Kristina Kulchar

Such a beautiful nature walk located just a few metres back from stunning Bronte Beach. The area is clean and the air is fresh with stunning lush tropical plants and trees. Feels like you are outside of Sydney like a northern NSW coastal town, love it.. a regular walk for us!

  • John Solari

I'm a big fan of grassed areas near beaches... Great location and the facilities are good. Not a big fan of paid parking but that seems to be the norm in the eastern suburbs. It's right near the coastal walk too so it's easy to wander north or south of the park.

  • Bob Ranchod

Very nice place to visit, especially with family young and old. Grassy areas to throw a ball, a small shop for ice creams or coffee and a fabulous clean and patrolled beach for swimming and board riding. Sheltered picnic tables and numerous waste bins.

  • Sophie Auchincloss

Very good experience here, there is places to sit in the shade towards the south side which is ideal if you don't have a sunbrella etc. Toilets are good. The only downfall is quite difficult to get to via public transport compared to Bondi or coogee.

  • David Solomon Alucard Ashkenazi

This Theory specific part of Bronte Beach is much quieter than one would think. I go here once a week to enjoy the outdoor Bronte baths; which is an outdoor rock pool which is literally made out of solid granite. A bonus is after getting

  • Narinder Bir Singh

A beautiful park to enjoy with family and friends. A nice picnic area where you can bbq and enjoy the food. A lot of awesome cafes are around the park. You can bring dogs along with you. You can have a sunbath in the park as a beautiful

  • Admin Indever

Some places are just magic, not as overwhelming as Bondi Beach, just sensational views in the evening, I do not, however, understand why people swim in the rip on this beach. LOOK for signs.. so you don't die... I'm just saying.

  • Matthew

Great little spot for a picnic, day out and swim. There's quite a few under cover tables and chairs, a public bathroom and lot's of nearby food options. Parking can be a bit rough when it's busy but where isn't in Sydney …

  • Dan T

beautiful for dog walks, pool swimming, "the bogey hole" for little junior swimmers, big waves, and little train rides. A real treat for beach goers and picnic lovers. A true gem of a beach, away from the overseas tourists.

  • Dan Haworth

Beautiful beach and very large picnic area with about 40 covered tables for picnics. Lifeguards on duty, awesome wave feed swimming pool. Lots of paid parking (super small parking spots), but get in early if you want one

  • Petrina Pula

Beautiful and family friendly beach. Although it was very packed the day we went...we still managed to find a good spot and enjoy the fresh feels. Only downer was parking but other than that choice place to relax.

  • Marcelle Armstrong

Did an amazing walk from Bondi to Bronte. And it is fabulous! Bronte is a lovely beach with a natural rock pool and grassed areas for those wishing to avoid the sand. Great amenities. Good family beach and park.

  • Richard

The beach is beautiful, immaculate sand. Good for kids as it's fairly small and good life-saving close to shore. However, often it drops deep close to the shore line The park is big, great little train for kids

  • Rex Cowan

Beautiful part of the world definitely worth coming here for a walk or a swim long cycling track to see the coastline bring your water bottle so you can fill up at the filter water station along the way …

  • Day without flower blooming

We loved this place. It was warm and cozy. The beach was crowded but the picnic area was plenty so no worries for those who would go for picnic and little water play like us. In all, It was good experience.

  • Harsha Anjanappa

Bronte is one of the larger beaches between Coogee and Bondi and a pretty part of the coast. Definitely better than Bondi both in terms of the beach itself and the shopping area as well.

  • RObi

Beautiful Beach, lovely park but the toilets are a disgrace.. Sooo run down and in third world conditions.. Am I living in Sydney Australia?? By this, I don't think so!!! Disgraceful!!!!

  • Flavia Yanase

Very nice however the waves are really high. So if your child wants to play in the sand it's ok. The rock pool is good for smaller kids. Really cold water during September to November.

  • Daniela Mantelli

It's a beautiful place.... but I was so disappointed when I was disappointed when I saw the water leak. I warned one of the staff in the area but he said that this was not a problem.

  • Jeffy Pablo

Bronte Park and Beach is one of the best places to be in Sydney, whether it is just enjoying the view or going for a nice walk along the beach. The sea view is sooooo beautiful.

  • Matthew Bousquet

Beat park in Sydney! There’s BBQ’s and toilets and showers! A big park to hang out, lots of shade. Better come early because it gets packed on a Sunday! Free rock pool as well!

  • Mark Solway

Walked to here from Bondi beach. The walk is amazing along the way and well worth the effort to get to this point. Brontë is one of the larger (but quieter than Bondi) beaches.

  • Jeannette Rairibi

Bronte park is an excellent place for a picnic or BBQ, especially on warmer days. There are also coffee shops. If you just want to do the coastal walk, enjoy the scenic views.

  • Sunee

Always love to go there, beautiful walk, sunbath, also picnic and enjoy soke in cool salt water rock pool during winter(16-25 degress in general) pls check before you get in.

  • Anastasia G

The beach and park are beautiful and have options for all types of swimming. Pools for lane swimming, little shallow area for kids to splash and beach with big waves to ride.

  • Joshua Kishore

A lovely beach with amazing views. Plenty of nice cafes and lots to do nearby. Easy commute from Bondi Junction. Would definitely recommend getting in early to avoid crowds.

  • Far Asia

Great for family and kids. Few eats option.shower stalls in women's change area could use a door each and few hooks for belongings but all up great place to chill by the sea

  • Srinath Holla

Definitely one of the best beaches in Sydney. I visited the beach to capture the Sunrise in all it's glory and I wasn't disappointed. Definitely coming back here again

  • RZ Photography

Such a nice and relaxing place to get the view and Ocean waves test make you feel better. It’s so nice to walk over there and feel the passing through your ears.

  • Tg S

I wish oh I wish I could let my little Chihuahua play in the sand and tide, of course under my closest supervision. But don't want to upset locals or get a fine.

  • Dai-Hoon Lee

Shorter Beach than Bondi but Differentiated by the Rugged Hill at its Edge and Seawater Pool at its End. Seems ro be more favorable for surfers w/ higher waves.

  • Petra Rudisill

Great facilities! We loved that we could grill our food, watch the kids play on the playground, and use a restroom all in the same area. Such a wonderful spot!

  • Lucy Robson

Cleanest picnic facilities of the beach picnic areas. Great spot for families with good playground equipment and mini train rides. Very active Nippers program.

  • Guisela Bustamante

Beautiful place to spend time relaxing with the family. Lots of shade and bbq areas. Toilets within reach and fantastic playground for the kids.

  • Rod Shevlin

One of the best beaches, doesn't have the hype of Bondi, but it's a better beach, grassed reserve and two pools, give it a go, you will love it.
