The Brooklyn Motel is delightful. The manager is friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 1 - lovely, and the jetted tub is generously sized. We'll definitely stay again. Thank you. This is the fifth time at The Brooklyn Motel, this time in room 3. It's lovely, and with another generous spa tub. We really appreciate the fresh coffee and plunger. Updated November 2023: The Brooklyn Motel is consistently excellent and we stay there every 2 months, if we can book a room. Love the staff, love the comfort, love the jet tubs. Fun note: Brooklyn sometimes has planned blackouts as it did on Saturday night 18/11. The motel management sent booked guests a text on the previous Friday, and provided all the guests with a really good LED light/torch. The power in the town was out between 830pm and 430am.

Great location for Hawkesbury Cruise. However we were extremely disappointed with our overall stay. On arrival no key was left for us at reception for our room however we discovered that the key provided for our friends room also operated the door lock to our room. This is not good security and despite requesting a key on two occasions this was never provided. The room could have done with a good dusting and it was obvious the ceiling fan had never been cleaned. The bathroom also was in need of the good clean and refresh. No milk was provided with the tea making facilities, the biscuits were stale and the coffee sachets were 12 months passed expiry date. Although fresh towels were provided each day the bed was not made up and the bathroom was not properly cleaned.

Not a bad location for a quiet getaway near the water. Coffee and sugar were old and unusable, heating was pushed to its limits due to no electric blankets, spa needs servicing as it hardly pushed and bubbles out the jets, and we were given the smallest room without a balcony. Awesome for an anniversary night away. Some Mould remover wouldn't go astray in the bathroom either.

Perfect location, very friendly staff, a beautiful little place to stay, and with very clean rooms (apparently thanks to Bert, according to the little sign, who had done a perfect job cleaning our room). No off-street parking, but no problem finding a parking space close by. We loved it staying here, a perfect way to break our trip north to the central coast. Just a few km away from the Newcastle motorway and in a different world. A short stroll to the harbour and ferry terminal, and good food and coffee choices nearby.

Very comfortable bed, large space and nice balcony. Very clean. Flying foxes are a bit bothersome. Definitely needs a screen on the balcony door so glass door can be left open and air-conditioner off. Very little hanging space. Manager is friendly and accommodating. I'd prefer it if towels were not changed every day to help save carbon emissions.

This is a quaint little Motel with only a few rooms and in a great location. The rooms have everything you need and are clean and comfortable. Don't expect the rooms to be glamorous because they are not but they are all you require and the price is right. We had a very enjoyable stay and will be back soon.

What was completely awful was the owners and one other person having a prolonged domestic argument at 3 a.m. Yes you read that correctly. Appalling behaviour. Had to rate 1 star in order to post.

Great location with friendly helpful owners. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. It was also quiet despite fronting the street. The little extras such as jam, butter, fresh milk, fresh coffee & choice of tea were a nice touch. The motel is close to the train station, marina & Riverboat Postman. We'd happily stay here again & recommend it to others.

Great place to stay in this peaceful village if you are on the way to or from Sydney. Prices are very affordable for the area. The owners are very nice and the rooms are big, the bathroom even includes a whirlpool that we used. Nice restaurant for dinner just across the road!

One minute from Hawkesbury River station, five mins walk to the Jerusalem Bay trail. Friendly owner, nice and tidy room with its own balcony, spa bath and free ground coffee! Second time here today. Bring your shampoo & conditioner. Also toothpaste and toothbrush. It's still amazing spot for what you paid for!

My family and I stayed here overnight and we had a lovely stay. We received excellent customer service and the room was lovely and clean. It also included a spa bath for a great price! Would definitely recommend this place!

A very warm welcome from Bert who was brilliant through out our stay, nothing was to much trouble. The Brooklyn Motel is great place to stay, large comfortable room with full facilities, the wife really appreciated the spa bath. Shops and pub close by and very convenient. Highly recommended.

Nice clean place in gorgeous location. Spas in rooms function but only room3 has spa big enough for two . Watch the bathroom floor drainage. It runs water into the bedroom. Towel across door recomended
