A group of friends of mine went on a Wednesday night so it was not very busy or loud. Able to get seated right away. Then have a QR code for drinks but do also offer printed menus too. They had 6 dollar 32oz long island special running that night and I tried the Blue Razz which was great. Long Islands not your thing? That's okay because it looked like they had 4 to 6 different drink specials everyday! The server was nice and efficient. She cleared empty dishes and cups quickly and also got another drink for a person in the party quickly as well. The food is reasonably priced for the location, type of place, and the amount you get. Got the loaded cheese fries which could have probably used maybe a little more cheese, but was delicious. Also got the half pound chicken nuggets with two of the sauces on the side target than tossed in it. The lemon pepper has some surprising zing to it while the honey Sriracha had a nice bite that didn't over stay its welcome. If you're not big on acidic flavors though, may wish to steer clear. The ranch was nothing to write home about though. The chicken itself tasted fresh and decent size. Overall, good place to gather and get food and drinks. Certainly recommend if it is not busy or the wait isn't very long. Well within walking distance of pretty much everything.

I’ll start by saying that the food was really good and the atmosphere is cool. Outdoor seating with games and stuff are really cool. We sat at the bar and the service was lacking. Took a bit to be welcomed or asked if we needed drinks. When we were finally addressed, we were asked,”did you want something”. Which I thought was obvious since we walk in at sat at the bar. So of course drinks are filled with ice to lesson the amount of alcohol the bar uses so upon getting someone’s attention to order the second, for my wife, I asked for half the ice and in return, received less alcohol and more mix to compensate. Again, food was really good but I had to wave someone down from the congregation occurring at the corners of the bar so we could get utensils and napkins. The bar tender who I waved down ended up moving to the congregation of staff at the other end of the bar to keep from being bothered I can only assume. Later a waitress stopped by and asked if we were ok and we ended up ordering something to go. On the way out I stopped and thanked her and she herself said , I noticed no one was paying attention to you. If it’s that noticeable to an employee, can you imagine what it feels like to be the paying customer? I added a pic of the employees standing around and by the way the girl on the far left is who actually stepped up to help us.

I need 2.5 stars for one... I stopped by after a concert because they are open late. Perfect for after a concert at Gainbridge. The guy at the host stand seemed to be barely awake said he had to check our ID's... my adult daughter, my younger son & self. When checking my son's, he looked at it a couple times & at him then told us all to go ahead. 15 mins later, my wife & youngest daughter came to join us. Yngst daughter is in high schl & only 15. Upon checking her ID, the sleepy guy then told us she couldn't be there becuase no one under 21 was allowed in after 10. My wife and daughter had to go back to the hotel. I returned to our table where my other 2 kids were waiting including my son who's only 18 and had been given access w/ no question. Very confusing situation. The waitress very really great to convert our partial order "to go" so... difficult to judge the food on take out by the time we got to the hotel.

Arrived after attending a convention, it was around 5:30pm on Saturday. They wait until we're seated and they bring menus over to tell us that it's 21+ only starting at 6pm so if there is anyone without an ID they have to leave then. They see we have to children with us. There are children there eating as they are telling us this. NO WHERE on the website, the door, the windows, no sign outside, nothing to indicate this age restriction. I understand many bars have age restrictions after certain times or they are 21+ period regardless of what time of day, but it's all very clearly posted at those. I've NEVER seen any establishment that allows children and has a children's menu make this cutoff time that early in the evening. Usually around 9pm or so, which I would understand. Needless to say we got up and left, as that pretty much indicated that we'd still be there eating even if we ordered immediately. This is one thing that struck a nerve and is bad business practice that will cause me to never set foot in the place again.

I’ll start with the positive. The cheese curds are delicious and if you go on a Tuesday night cheeseburgers are only $2. The first time I went the cheeseburgers were really good. The second time the cheeseburgers were much smaller, but still tasted good. The service here is slow, so if you’re going for dinner before an evening at Gainbridge I recommend going earlier than you think you need to. I asked for BBQ on/with my burger and I requested it come warm. They didn’t bring it out at first and then when they brought it out it was really cold. Call me extra if you want but I don’t understand putting really cold sauce on what should be a nice hot burger. Then the fries…both times I’ve been here the fries come out with the burger stale, cold and bland. Once is a fluke, twice is a pattern. Even with $2 cheeseburgers my most recent experience here has probably turned me off of coming back.

The overall experience was ruined by the way we were treated by our server. I believe his name was Daniel or David at first he seemed to be very hospitable.but when our last guest arrived his attitude seemed to have changed we didn't receive the extra accommodations we asked for. Then when we notified the server we were going to the rr food and more than 3/4 drinks were thrown out.. when we arriving back to the table server asked if we need another round?? After drinks had been thrown out..‍♀️I'm sure that was obvious that we needed another round. The additional drink was already added to the bill before we even arrived to the table . Worst service ever ..and we work on the food industry and are regulars to Kilroys at least twice a month. We would have tipped better and maybe returned if we felt the service was worth the trip back. We Were just looking for new ambience but will not return.

Just got takeout from here for a group of 8. Everything was prepared perfectly, ready on time, and packaged in a way that was practical and somehow kept anything fried from getting soggy. The bags they use have built in seals and stay closed great, and everyone was happy with the food. The bartender put the bags together and even noticed one wasn't staying together as well, and stapled it some to help. Also asked for extra au jus and they were happy to provide. Overall a great experience and the attention to detail by the staff was very appreciated! Thanks!

Oh brothers, I love going to this place when I want to feel young again, I think it’s a classic college bar. I decided to go here for the colts game, this weather has been crazy here in Indy, so the group actually sat outside for the duration of the game. I love the outdoor space! Lots of tables and TVs to enjoy. They also have big Jenga, connect 4, and cornhole. The place was packed of course because goo Colts! But I felt that our service was super quick for the amount of people at brothers. Lots of domestic beers were drank and enjoyed, bottled beer is very cheap. I’m of the mindset that you have to eat when you watch sports. The brothers menu is expansive, lots of delicious options apps, chicken wings, burgers and sandwiches. I went with the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was very tasty, spicy but not sweat your face off spicy. The chicken was tender and cooked very well. I’ll be back again.

Had a great time here. Open to family of all ages during the daytime, 21+ in the later evenings. Great place to watch sports games, eat some good food, and have some great drinks. They have free yard games (corn hole, connect four, table shuffle board) and some pay to play games (basketball, billiard table). I suggest arriving quite early for bigs games as tables are first come first serve and fill up quickly. There is an outside courtyard with a fireplace and TV's.

Very friendly and knowledgeable bar staff. A very different environment from evening to night. We went earlier in the evening, around 7 or so, and got a couple of drinks. They were quick to serve us and the drinks were delicious. Pricing is about what you'd expect. Their long island pitchers will definitely be on the forefront of my mind the next time I go out. Later at night, the music turns up and so does the crowd. It gets warm, sticky, and messy, but still a good spot to visit if you're not opposed to that kind of nightlife. The wait for a drink or some food (DELICIOUS bar food, by the way - don't pass it up!) will increase as the night goes on, but not so much so that it's unbearable. This place is getting tossed into my rotation as one of the better bars in downtown Indy.

8 of us stopped in for a drink after the Colts/ Steelers game. Great place for get together & friendly staff. Large enough for the after game crowd & a very nice patio with fire pits & closes off so noise flow was perfect for the crowd. Food was average at best, not like some of the other locations but typically each restaurant is different in some degree. The restaurant just has a very limited appetizer menu bit out of most of the selections. Someone didn't do the orders for a Monday night downtown after a game party. Very good selection of adult beverages so that was a plus.

Went with some friends and there was 2 African americans in front of us and they didn’t let one of them in because he was wearing sweat shorts, when there was cock Asians with the same shorts inside and in line able to get in . As soon as my girlfriend said something about it , they said you can leave too . We all waited in line to get in and have a fun causing no problem and we have to deal with that racism and it’s hard to stay quiet . As we were leaving a white lady came and told us they let her white friend in and not her black friend for some reason so she left as well with the same problem . Went to Brothers Bar & Grill our first night in Indy. The atmosphere is pretty awesome, tons of TV for you to watch any event you wanted to. I can see this being a great spot on game day as it's only a couple blocks away from Lucas Oil Stadium. The food was really good. I had the Gator Balls for an appetizer which somehow tasted like chicken. LOL....I also had the Gorgonzola Salad, and my daughter had the quesadilla's. Some friends had the Buffalo Cauliflower and said it was awesome. Definitely check this place out. The one down side was that is goes to a 21 & Up bar/club at 9pm so if you have a family with kids you won't be allowed in.

The reviews about their dress code and being picky about who they let in are true. Their dress code isn’t easily found on their website or is nonexistent on their website. The reviews about not being let in because of your sweat shorts but seeing others inside with them on are true. If there’s a dress code for men there should be a dress code for women. I’ve gone here several times and at least once or twice in shorts and sweat shorts. Need to be consistent, make the dress code known, and hire better bouncers that don’t profile regarding other reviews and witnessing it in-line myself

Denied entry at the door on a Saturday night because they "can't allow anyone in wearing sweatpants" even though it is a college bar. Meanwhile girls in crop-tops and skin tight pants as well as men with jeans ripped and baggy shirts are allowed entry. Have been there previously in arguably worse attire and not an eye was batted. Walked across the street to another bar and had no issue gaining entry. Apparently they are a high class bar just because of a downtown location when they regularly offer ludacris alcohol deals (because duh, college bar) and still have the audacity to kick people out because they just "don't fit in".

Good food, good service. Table was a bit wobbly and I wouldn't say it was spotless. Beer selection was on point and the buffalo sauce was on the sweeter and milder side with a nice vinegar punch. Burger was decent. Grilled fish taco was good - but you won't taste the fish over the topings.

So, I've only been here a few times, and the service has been extremely slow each time. Seems to be tied to the open seating so it's hit or miss if someone is actually serving it. For real, after waiting a while and flagging someone down, we were told the girl for our table had left. Notice in the reviews how they have left a review talking bad about Afro descendants but they are deleting the reviews that blame them of their racism. Went with some friends. I went to park my car and when I came back to be in line with my friend a 9 month pregnant lady at the front started to harass me telling me I had to go to the back when there were many people cutting with their friends I’m assuming. Came in at 4 pm. Had to ask for a food menu, that was limited and not disclosed by the website. Ordered $100 worth off the menu, Samuel Adams Summer Ale was flat and served in the wrong glass, the waitress didn't seem to care. The French dip was mostly fat, again the waitress didn't seem to care. The floor was so sticky my shoes squeaked like Chucky from the Rugratts. This bar is more for the let's get drunk and shovel something hot in my mouth crowd. I would never go here again unless I could barely walk and the doors where open.

The five cheese Mac and Cheese was absolutely delicious but my friend found several hairs in his wrap. Recommend the mac and cheese though. The server, Kayla, was quite rude and disrespectful when it came to replacing the food that was contaminated. When it came time for our change to be brought back to the table, she kept the coin change and only gave us bills back. I do not recommend this place because of the service.

Our family came to Indy for a get together. The ufc fight was on. Three of us paid the cover fee to watch the fight. They wouldn’t let my fourth brother in because of a dress code. He was wearing joggers and was dressed better than most people there. We couldn’t stay and when we asked for our cover back they wouldn’t give it back. We literally came in gave them money then had to leave. Be careful with this business! Horrible that we lost $30 for nothing!! What a joke! Find a different bar that cares about customers!

First the server ( Diana ) tells me that they do not serve a Manhattan in a regular cup. So I had to bring her back to Elementary school an show her the picture of it on her menu. I came in town for the eagles and colts game from st. Louis. I can say I've been to a lot of bars across this great nation and this one ranks among the best. From the friendly attentive staff that works as a team to handle the crowd; to the people who patron it. Cold drinks and amazing food are also guaranteed. Profiled my group going in because they had a backpack and were of color. We were refused entrance until we no longer had a backpack and even then we got our pockets searched. Visited while in town for a wedding. What a great menu! So easy to read, lots of pictures, and good selection of food. Everything was very tasty - I’d recommend the cheese curds as a starter!

DO NOT GO HERE.. Walked in and waited 15 minutes before we were even approached. The server who approached us asked if we had been helped, we replied no and she brought menus. We waited an additional 20 minutes and she never came back,

For a sports bar the bar service was great, the place was big, clean, modern, lively atmosphere & definitely a fun place to watch the game or go after attending the Colts game! Would def go back! Drinks & food were on par, as well!

Middle of a Saturday and this bar cant even turn the correct games on. And they call themselves a sports bar? Horrible service. No staffing. Worst bar in town, never go

The reviews about racism at brothers are true. Went last night and yet they were being racist to minorities. Super sad as they weren’t like this before they hired the new id checkers.

It’s a good place to be especially on weekends but the manager, has put females in a chokehold or body slammed few females during fights & it’s very unprofessional & will not be going back due to it

My coworker and I went for lunch the food was good the server was not very social, maybe she was having a bad day (we are aloud to have those) the wings were good and the fried pickles are great!

Average bar food, but beers were priced reasonably and the bartender was engaging and what made the overall experience good.

This is a great place to go when you're downtown. It has a large selection of craft beers on tap. Yummy! More
