I took a gold necklace in for repair, it came back with a piece stolen. When I pointed this out to the sales assistant, she chased me out of shop. I took my evidence to the Consumer Council, but Brown's refused to reply to their queries. I now have to take this further, perhaps even open a criminal case. Be careful with these people - they are not honest in their dealings. Since I have been publicising this issue, a few people have come forward with similar stories.

Absolutely brilliant customer service experienced here. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, almost feels as if you're at home. Jewellery Consultant Kayleigh Collins gave us a very detailed description of all the items that we were interested in. Very poor service was experienced in the Pavilion branch. Additionally, the branch manager charged us much more than the advertised price. However, I experienced much better customer service at the Gateway branch with correct pricing.
