I bought a wedding band at Browns and in the first year a diamond fell out. We sent it in and they replaced the diamond but we paid for it. A diamond fell out for the second time now and this time we said that we are not going to pay for it. Their response was that my wife does not take care of it and knocks the ring against stuff which is not possible because her engagement ring blocks the wedding band from bumping. If you read the reviews, it seems that that is their excuse for every customer whose diamonds fall out. Won't buy from them again because too many people has the same problem with their rings and I really don't feel like replacing a diamond every year/2 years.

Possibly the BEST service that I’ve EVER received. That’s saying a lot because the Browns brand prides themselves on good service. I first visited this branch a couple years ago when I was dressed in workout gear ‍♀️ and I was not at all planning on fitting on rings that day, but the staff were so patient and welcoming. They measured my ring size and talked me through the 3 C’s: cut, colour, clarity! While I was there a gentleman in shorts and plakkies bought his wife a pair of diamond earrings, so I guess they’re used to down-to-earth buyers who are not overly dressed up.

Not happy with jewelery quality and service! My husband got for me stone pendant that was cracked and Browns store refused to exchange or fix it. So do I have to trough it in the bin? I have all my jewelers from Browns including my wedding ring. As a good customer they should make sure service good but they don't care as it was confirmed yesterday. I wanted to purchase ring for 50k and asking for additional discount I got long explanation that it was already discounted. People you should learn from 2020 something!

I had a great service here. Many rings were brought out and I was given lots of time to have a look at which shape diamond I preferred. Very knowledgeable consultant advising on the upgrading of the diamond. Because I wanted my ring asap, the consultant even went out of her way to have my ring sized. I had 2 very busy kids with me, and they were so patient with them. We were showered with gifts. The boys each got a teddy and I also got a purse.

Got such a welcoming feeling from the first moment I walked in the door. All the staff were friendly and I was referred to their (who I can only assume is their "veteran") sales agent Elzette for an engagement ring. Being royally treated she knew exactly what would work for us and what styles are recommended. She was always patient and friendly whilst I had 100's of questions. Highly recommended!

Good service initially. Very impressed by sales staff. Unfortunately one of the rings had to be adjusted and this work was sub-standard. Joints were not finished off professionally and the rings serial number was also erased. Ring was returned to jeweller who in turn sent it back to the factory again to be repaired. Second attempt was much beter

NEVER EVER AGAIN!! I bought an eternity band from Browns, wore it for 12 months and started wearing it again this year and TWO diamonds fell out. Browns excuse is that the metal is busy disintegrated. UHM, how?? Thought I am paying R10 000 for quality metal? That's why I chose a "reputable" diamond store for excellent quality. GUESS NOT!!!

I bought a gorgeous Christmas gift for my wife at Browns. Lizette, the Salesperson who assisted me was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The quality of the gift and the excellent service from Lizette is 2 reasons why I will return to Browns for future purchases. You cannot put a value on quality and excellent service.

Better service than the Canal Walk branch. Karen was helpful and very aware of our needs. She followed a few days post our visit and made a great effort to ensure confirmation of service on my wife's rings before going ahead. Well Done Tyger Valley Browns!! You deserve a bigger store!!

And so my diamond fell out for the forth time. My beautiful diamond and tanzanite ring turned out to be nothing more than a lucky packet ring to me. Its going in for repairs more than i get a change to wear it in the 3 year i have it.

Probably an excellent place to buy jewellery and when repairs are done to jewellery of clients that bought stuff there. But not very accommodating to repair jewellery bought from other stores.

Bloemfontein, Somerset Mall and Canal Walk branches best experiences. Will not recommend the Tyger Valley branch.
