My wife rented from here recently, so I’m sharing her experience. The one staff at the front desk was awful. The system was down, and he was clueless on what could be done while we waited for the vehicle. He was not eager to help and didn’t even communicate clearly how long we might wait for Budget to fix their system. He proceeded to tell her about the consistent problem with their system and also about a former employee that used to embezzle money. He did not seem to care about professionalism, problem solving, or the fact that customers were waiting. Rental was received 40 minutes past time. He did upgrade to a bit larger sedan which was nice. In addition, at the drop off time, she was there at 8 am (listed opening time), and the store was locked until the same staff member arrived 15-20 minutes late with no apology or explanation. He ignored her as she asked if he was doing ok as he seemed very angry. He ignored her initially then finally completed the return. He wouldn’t discount the service and when she asked if he prefer she call corporate he said, “go ahead they won’t do anything and will be ruder.” I rarely write reviews, but I would avoid this location at all costs. Go to the 3rd st and bell location for great service, but do NOT go here.

Given a car twice with torn tires after telling them I was taking my children to California. The first time the manager was nice enough to upgrade our car, second he wasn't there and they gave us miraculously a car in a lot better shape. The last time we went we had an appointment for 12 on news eve day. When we showed up at 1220 there was a sign made up on their door that said they closed at 12 that day. I understand closing early on a holiday but I know they have a roster and times people are coming in and they didn't bother to call even so I could pick it up earlier. Luckily another budget was open till 1 just down the street or we would of been without a car for the holidays. They are unreliable, lazy with the inspection of their vehicles and just straight out bad with customer service. I'd go a mile down the street if you want to get treated right. Forgot the managers name but he gave us a great car upgraded for cheap and got us to our family for the holidays. Unlike this one could do :/

Reserved 12 foot truck was not available, the ONE truck at the location was a 16 foot. The truck was dirty and it was obvious that it had not been cleaned much less disinfected prior to release to me. Air conditioning was not operational, call to road side assistance was of no help except to find out they could not fix the problem prior to my drive from Glendale, Arizona to Los Angeles. Individual at dispatching dealer indicated he would note the system with the issues so my reservation would be documented when I called Budget Customer Service. This was not done. Customer service representative offered minimal compensation for the problems and refused to escalate my call when requested. She proceeded to read from her “script” regarding Budget’s RIGHTS. I will never rent from Budget Corporation or this location again.

Awesome guy at the budget/avis counter and rented me a car at fair rate same day when other places wouldn't because credit score wasn't high enough over the phone..? Originally rented from Dollar at the airport for about the same price the night before but when we went to pick it up they said since no flight tickets we had to come back 24 hours from when we rented it. We were their at 8am and they said to come back at 8 pm?! That would of ruined the first day of our trip. I'm glad this guy at avis explained at his place its not just a credit score number but various aspects, so went over there and was approved and on our way.

Take your hard-earned money elsewhere. The service here is absolute garage. Instead of informing me that debit cards are not sufficient means of holding a rental, they charged me for the reservation anyway, and allowed me to come in "hoping I had a credit card to secure the transaction". Instead of actually assisting me in resolving or trouble shooting the problem, he throws me a number and walks to the back of the store without a further word.

NO NIGHT DROP BOX! Excellent customer service initially! Vehicle was not clean inside nor outside. This location does not have a night drop box and the location closes @ 3pm during the weekday. I rented my vehicle on Sunday @ 10:00am and returned on Monday @ 7:00pm the next day. I was charged for (3) three days. FYI...I had to leave keys in the vehicle and call the next day.

I had an interesting situation and the man working went out of his way to help me. He even gave my kids a flier to look at and then a little trinket to keep them happy through the process. This is what amazing customer service is and he went above and beyond to just make my day go smoother as I returned a budget truck. So grateful for good kind people.

Absolutely RIDICULOUS hours AND service. I missed out on 3 days of a 10 day rental because of a one hour flight delay and has to rush and pay their rediculous gas fee because they close at 3pm on weekdays. The counter associate was so gleeful at charging me $10 pergallon for gas he couldnt keep from smiling. This business is a scam.

Called and set up a car for the next day. When I called to pick up my reservation Merchant was incredibly rude. I reserved a Toyota camera and merchant said he had a suv. He said I have to take the car or he would cancel my reservation. Extremely disrespectful!!! Will not be dealing with budget after this again! Do not recommend!

Do NOT under any circumstances rent from this establishment. Owner is not a good person and finds joy in wrongfully overcharging you. Terrible customer service and attitude. There is an enterprise up the street don’t waste your time here.

Was able to reserve a rental same day and on a Saturday! The owner (I assume) was kind and helpful- very easy to work with. The vehicle was in great condition and perfect for what I needed it for. Easy return process.

I am absolutely shocked about the outstanding service here the manager is knowledgeable and so helpful. I return at least two times a month and stress free every time

Great customer service over the phone and in person. Helpful and offered an upgrade to a luxury for just about the same price of an economy.

We have used this location several times and the owner is great! Very professional, considerate and flexible during stressful moving times.

I was charged $600 for glass damage after returning the car without incident. This budget is shady and I would not recommend going here!
