I participated in a six-week fitness challenge at Burn District Fitness. It is a great facility. All the equipment is brand new. The workouts are a mix of cardio and strength training, depending on the day. All the workouts are challenging yet doable. I pushed myself out of my comfort zone several times, doing standing oblique ball throws, one legged burpees, military rope pulls. You can see yourself becoming stronger and stronger the more you go. The coaches keep you motivated and working hard until the very last beep of the buzzer. Every workout goes by fast. You come out of the gym drenched in sweat every single time. The class is equipped with screens so participants can track their progress using a heart rate monitor. This helps to push yourself more and be motivated through a little in-class competition. I also like that you can reserve your spot at the gym using the Mind Body app, which makes yourself more accountable to actually show up at the class rather than pressing snooze. As for the challenge, I'm disappointed that I did not lose the 6% body fat in 6 weeks that was required to get my $500 back. I wish I could get at least half of my money back because I worked out at least 3 times a week and followed my diet plan. I think this challenge may have been overly optimistic because nobody that I know in the group met this goal, except maybe one person who is close who had more pounds to lose. We all generally achieved half of that, like a 3% body fat loss in 6 weeks. Overall however it was a good experience. Thank you for the workouts!

Update: I've been doing personal training sessions for almost 4 full months and it continues to help me improve my running substantially and my overall physical fitness. I've been able to accomplish more here in 4 months with my running than I could on my own for years. It's a great environment where you really enjoy your workout. Great gym! I've been doing personal training sessions for about a month now and really enjoy the sessions and the results I am starting to see. I came to this gym to cross-train for running and to try to finally get rid of those injuries that pop up from various weak muscle areas. I was referred to this gym and was surprised that it was in a location I often passed, but never noticed it. I'm thankful for the referral and that they're in such a great location as I am already seeing improvements in my running. The owner and the other trainers are very friendly and helpful and create a really great, welcoming, and inclusive environment. I usually probably would have stopped going to other gyms by now as I've done in the past, when I feel out of place or like I'm not getting anything out of it. I have never felt that way here and always feel that each workout is well thought ansld targeted to help me toward my goals. Best gym you never knew was there, but one many of us could benefit from-especially those of us who love long distance running and want to become injury free!

If you want to join a gym that doesn’t have a nutrition program, BFD is not for you! If you don’t want the coaches to personally hold you accountable, BFD is not for you! At BDF, the coaches hold you accountable in the nicest way. They help you not only focus on you workout but they help you with your nutrition and recovery. There’s always exciting activities going on outside the gym as well. BDF has truly been a Godsend! I was tired of being a tired, inactive, couch potato. This is the best I’ve felt is very long time and I am truly grateful to BDF for helping me get on the right track.

I found burn district through Facebook and have found a lifetime gym. The facility is a good size, but is not a giant warehouse you feel lost in. The workouts are difficult, you will leave drenched in sweat and might be sore the next morning, but I can’t argue with the results. I’m down 30 lbs in 6 months, have better physical stamina and am in the best shape I’ve been in 15 years. The trainers there are the real secret though. Everyone is nice, warm, friendly and very very knowledgeable. They are willing to help modify a workout if you have an injury or limited mobility but will still challenge you to leave your comfort zone and make the most of your time there. I cannot recommend Burn District highly enough!

I joined this gym about 2 years ago. Best decision ever. The workouts vary from cardio to strength, HITT-style and open-workout-style training. They’ve recently added yoga and a heavy weight class to the mix. The workouts vary from day-today. They are challenging and the instructors are motivating and extremely helpful. The owner; Ron, is incredibly knowledgeable whether it’s nutrition or fitness and he truly seems to care about each individual member and their unique health goals. This is a welcoming place for beginners and seasoned gym rats. From marathon runners to power lifters, this place is truly for for everyone and it just keeps getting better.

I heard about Burn District through Facebook. So I want to help spread what Burn District is here for, & that’s YOU! The location is super convenient with plenty of parking. The facility is clean with brand new equipment. OH! The people! Everyone is welcoming & supportive! The coaches are well aware of everyone’s limitations but still push you to pass your limits! The class times are very accommodating. The workouts they come up with really gets your body going, in a good way! If you’re like me and need someone to help you be accountable, this is the place for you! The hour that you spend here is so efficient and productive!

This is the first gym that I have been to that feels like home. I am approaching week 4 of the 6 week challenge, and I am so happy that I made the choice to make Burn District a part of my life. I look forward to the end of the work day so I can go burn off some energy with some quality people. The coaches are knowledgeable, supportive, and kind. The other clients are, too. I enjoy every moment of the workouts, even when I feel they're exceptionally challenging, because of the way they do things. Nothing is unattainable. Investing in BDF and in myself is one of the best decisions I have made. I absolutely love it here.

I started my weight loss journey back in February. I didn’t know where to start. Joined a couple gyms and heard about a couple of group gyms. One of my good friends convinced me to try out burn district. I did a couple of classes and I was instantly hooked. The trainers, the classes and the clients are so welcoming. It’s hard starting a journey like this but they make the experience so welcoming. I look forward to working out now and I feel accomplished after. Join us! It’s going to be hard but hard doesn’t mean impossible.

Ron and all of the trainers have done an amazing job building not only a great gym but also a great culture. The small class sizes allow trainers to be more attentive to the needs of their clients. Their workouts and programming can be tailored to both novice gym goers and experts alike. Not many things will get me out of bed at 4am except a 5am class at Burn District Fitness. I don’t live around the corner but the 25 minute drive is well worth the experience. The coaches have great energy and the expertise on all movements and modifications. No workout is ever the same which definitely challenges you. And who doesn’t love a good challenge? Once you try it and love it (which you will), you’ll become part of the best gym family and community ever (I’ve been a member since day 1)!

I've been a member of this gym since 2018, shortly after it opened. My experiences have been nothing but phenomenal. The coaches are always enthusiastic and engaged, and always willing to offer an encouraging word or correct my form. Because of this gym, I have been able to attain two life goals I never thought possible: becoming an NCAA football official and becoming a professional firefighter at almost 50! I have loved every minute at this gym and I hope your experience is as good as mine.

This gym is top-notch and locally owned. The coaches genuinely care for your health and fitness goals. The workouts are always changing and have a wide range of exercises. You can be as involved with the “gym community” as you’d like without feeling pressured to participate in anything, but they have plenty of opportunities if you are looking to make a gym fam! I’m not a gym person in anyway but this gym is so welcoming and supportive! This gym fits everyone of all fitness levels with smiling faces every time I walk into the door! The variety of workouts are amazing….I never get the same workout twice.
