Before coming in or calling I was wondering why everyone was raving about this place until my first visit where all my questions were answered. I had a dental emergency, was in a lot of pain and called up this location right away. Even though they were a few hours from closing I was told to come in! I was so excited and elated to be seen. When I got there I was greeted warmly as I waited my turn; Upon meeting Dr V I instantly could tell he was a professional not just good at his job but was also passionate about the art of dentistry and cares deeply for his patients. My dental problem for that day was taken care of and I was out of there quicker than some scheduled doctors visits lol. My girlfriend had a wisdom tooth that was coming out and that had slight discomfort. We were concerned and wanted to have an immediate consultation with dentist close by. We called Burnhamthorpe dentistry on their day off on a Tuesday and Dr. Vick (not a receptionist) picked up right away. He told us to come in the next morning and was able to fit us in between patients. When we came in, he explained everything very clearly and told us we could take out the wisdom tooth that same appointment. The wisdom tooth removal was quick and painless and price was very fair/good. I was impressed by his hands-on customer service, immediate appointment, clear explanation and speed.

Like many, I grew up with a fear of having to go to the dentist due to horrible experiences in the past. Dr. Vic has fully restored my faith in dentists. From the moment I met him my nerves had subsided. He speaks with confidence about the process and calmed my nerves even more from the moment I sat in the chair. Dr. Vic is extremely gentle and would always check to make sure he wasn't pushing through my tolerance. Each visit was quick and near painless. I don’t imagine going to the dentist is at the top of anyone’s list of things to do but Dr. Vik Handa will immediately puts you at ease regardless if you are there for a cleaning or a procedure. Dr. Handa has been my family’s dentist for many years and has always been sensitive to our needs. He is always thorough, professional, and super gentle. When my daughter had an accident and ended up with some significant dental damage Dr. Handa came in on his day off to tend to her and to put her mind at ease with the procedures that would need to be done. The office is clean and welcoming and I can’t recommend Dr. Handa enough.

I went to get some teeth pulled. Was very nervous and if it wasn't absolutely necessary I would have backed out because I have had bad experiences in the past with other dentists. Dr. Vic made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, he stopped and checked before he moved to the next step to make sure I was okay and ready . I came out of there feeling like he really cared about my well being and will go back willingly to have the rest of the work done. Dr. Vick is amazing and really cares about your dental health. I've put off going to the dentist for years because I'm terrified of needles etc. Dr. Vick's calm and friendly demeanor put me at ease as he took care of my teeth and cavities with no pain at all. Dr. Vic is awesome. He was so friendly upon walking in and you can immediately feel the “homey-ness” of this clinic which Dr. Vic runs himself. He does the dental exams, procedures, and cleaning himself which I thought was incredible because it means that you get a thorough check-up every time. It was the least pain I’ve ever experienced during a dental cleaning as well. Fun fact - Dr. Vic used to teach dental hygienists at Seneca so he really is the expert. Loved my experience and will definitely make this my home clinic from now on.

State of the art set up. To the point and no time wasted with the run of mill stories “the dentist is running late or the last patient is being difficult” while you waste a couple hours in the waiting room. Had Dr Handa is a very experienced and confident dentist. He preformed a root canal for me and did an excellent job. He ensured I did not feel any pain, making the procedure painless. He also plays Netflix (yes the patients can watch on the ceiling mount ). Dr Handa also went out of his way to check up on me a day after the procedure. Poor patient service. Took very long time to make invisalign and never arranged a schedule to get the invisalign picked up. I have been calling and waiting for 9 months and my buttons on teeth are getting bad and my teeth are moving in different directions now. I gave one star just to allow me to post my feedback.

I’ve never been so happy with a trip to the dentist. I was very nervous for my first appointment, probably too nervous. But Dr. Vik is kind, polite, and helpful, and made me feel comfortable. My root canal and filling was done quickly and done well- super impressed with the quality of work.
