Bushrangers Bay is an incredible place to visit. Because of its increased popularity, it has become very difficult (and sometimes unsafe) to try to park in its very small parking area. It urgently needs to be redesigned and thoughtfully enlarged to ensure people don't have to park along the sides of Boneo Road.
This is such a wonderful walk. So popular. The only problem is that there's no car parking lots at all. All the cars were parked along the road which makes it a real hazard. Maybe the authorities could look into improving that. Also will be great to add a toilet facility too
Approx 2.5km walk one way from the car park to Bushrangers Bay. Track connects to Cape Schanck. Splendid walk through formed tracks. No toilets except at Cape Schanck. The view is breathtaking. Unfortunately not wheelchair friendly.
Can walk both ways of the two bays trail from this carpark— toward Cape Schank or Arthur's Seat. From here, it's a 20km walk to Arthur's Seat, and 5-6km walk to Cape Schank. Good start spot for hiking on the Mornington Peninsula.
Great variety of flora. Saw a mob of maybe 15 kangaroos. Track is well-used with mild gradient but deceptively long, around 6km return if you do Burabong Creek lookout and the beach. Bit busier than I’m used to.
Two bays walking track (inland) is a really good walk. A sandy, leafy, natural track, that weaves through this natural parkland, which is filled with birds, and numerous animal paths that you can follow.
Nice 2hr walk. Scenic towards lighthouse. Lots of wildlife on the root. Grade 2/3 I guess. No cycling though. Can reach beaches on the way. Car park on road side. Black berry on the way for free…
Get here early if you want a proper park! There is very little parking here, but you can park along the road, just means you might have a roadside hike before you start the proper hike!
Beautiful spot but there have recently been some drownings off the rocks and at the beach so please be very careful. Kids can play in the little shallow inlet which is much safer.
Ridiculously busy during holiday periods. Impossible to get a spot in the small carpark. You'll likely find you have a very long roadside walk before you even begin the bush trek.
Good spot when it's quiet. But the tourists fill up the place on weekends. Parking overflows..and people do dangerous things when parking. (So slow down around the corners here!)
There is limited parking here with many cars spread along both sides of the road during peak times. Be cautious with small children as its on a rural road and on a slight bend.
A must see as you're on the peninsula..it's seriously worth the walk to get to the beach. A magic picture to be taken here and the tranquility of the seclusion needs to be seen
We walked to here from the two bays walking track starting at Gate 3. Lovely walk. Most people park here to access the track to bushrangers bay and even on to Cape Schank
Amazingly far but amazingly beautiful. Only wish to have shorter distance to the bay .. Expect to walk 3 kms to get to the beach from car park.
A once secret rock pool a decade ago is now (too) popular! An easy 2.5km walk to the bay from the carpark. Picturesque and a lovely day out.
It has limited parking space. Alternatively to visit bush ranger's bay one can walk from cape schank parking area. It is same 2.5 km walk.
About 15 minutes walk. There's longer walks & hikes. Good for family walks & hikes. Waters is rough and rocky. Good views...
On the two bays walking trail and a convenient start for 10km out and back walk to Cape Schanck and 5km to Bushrangers bay.
Nice walk through the bush absolutly gorgeous. Magmatik rocks on the beach Beware of snakes espacially the brown one.
Car Park for bushrangers bay and two bays trail. Small car park that's always full so expect to park on the road side
Great walk. 3k each way to nice beach. According to signs super dangerous. 20 killed in just over a year.
Leave the car and have a stunning walk to the bay. Fairly flat worth taking water. Steep drop to beach.
Small size parking area, can get crowded. But a good start for the Bushrangers Bay Walking Track.
