I am handicapped and in a wheelchair, today staff was great, they were really helpful . For the most part staff is wonderful and really helpful, if I need help getting my groceries I need only ask. It's still hard for me to do that so mostly i don't unless I'm hurting badly. Then they are awesomely helpful!! There are times when the odd cashier could use an attitude adjustment, like seeing how hard I'm struggling to unload the cart and they don't offer help or they give attitude when I do, and they will send my groceries through on the side where to pack them there is no way I can possibly load without being in the way of anyone coming through behind me. Twice I've had a melt down and burst into tears due to their attitude and lack of help and seeming intentional putting me in the way of everyone. But like today, when someone took my cart when I was busy loading a bag and didn't realize, the cashier stopped to hurry and get me a replacement one, this after offering help to unload my groceries and to pack them. I was very grateful. There have been a few times when I needed help to the car and even help putting my wheelchair in as I was hurting too much and they have helped with that too. I can't thank them enough!!! It is hard enough to ask, and when I'm in pain and desperate for help, even harder. I realize helping with my wheelchair isn't in their job description or I don't think it is.... they help me in getting groceries I need or I wouldn't be there if I'm hurting like that, or if I start hurting bad while getting my food which isn't their fault, I don't have to do anything plenty times for the pain to start. Thank you to all the good staff for your help!!!! It's also nice to be recognized by some of the staff and they wave if too far away or say hi and ask how I am, their acknowledgement and offers f help help to make me feel like less of a burden or pain in the butt!!!!

Your standard grocery store, nice organic + Asian produce. Small, but has most of what you could need, anything else you can probably find downstairs at Shopper's Drug Mart. My only complaint is there never seems to be enough cashiers (2, maybe 3, rarely 4), even before COVID. I expect it's simple overhead limiting the number, but they would benefit if, say, the store manager and/or front end manager on duty would also come ring people out when it is busy. I've worked at Whole Foods as a manager, and we always jumped on during busier times. To be fair, I also worked for Wegmans in good ol' Ithaca NY, and none of their managers did. Possibly just a company-by-company policy? Who can say. But certainly, this store is good, and more convenient to get in and out of than Nesters Market, which is kitty-corner, paid parking, and up an escalator. This is very handicap accessible and free parking. In addition, they do have a delivery service if you're not mobile or strong enough to get your own groceries home! Just ask, they are happy to help you! They also frequently have empty boxes at the end of the registers for you to pack your groceries in, which is fantastic for sustainable practices! They also offer reusable plastic totes for a small cost, as well as paper bags with handles. The totes have held up well for us, and are easily patched with duct tape if there is a tear, which is better than those cloth-esque bags. The tear doesn't continue to run, either, unlike the previously mentioned cloth-esque bags, which seem to just keep ripping apart once you've torn it.

So, you just moved to the neighbourhood and you're excited about having a grocery store to walk to that you can rely on. Well, too bad! You got stuck with Buy-Low Foods of Mount Pleasant. Oh, what's that you say? You work a 9 to 5 job and sometimes need stuff from the grocery store before you go to work or late at night? Well, too bad! Buy-Low Foods is only open from 8am to 9pm, thus guaranteeing you will never be able to purchase eggs or coffee early in the morning before you have to jet off to your job to make the money you would potentially spend at Buy-Low Foods. If you thought you lucked into a family neighbourhood grocery store that will always have your back, think again. Buy-Low merely operates in our space for themselves. They are not here to serve the community, but rather to operate with their own vision, separate of those who may actually rely on their business. Really great job being there for the people of this neighbourhood Buy-Low Foods. You are a pillar of what the grocery store business model should look like (sacasm)

The product selection has taken a huge nosedive since they switched management and reset their shelves. There used to be an abundance of items from local small businesses and healthy/organic options in all categories. Now everything is predominantly Western Family (a house brand that buys and repackages big brands like General Mills, Kelloggs, Kraft etc) or unhealthy, mass produced brands. It has become increasingly frustrating to shop and try to find healthy ingredients only to see they've stopped carrying them or there is only a single choice available (often sold out). It's also extremely disappointing to see they've massively scaled back in supporting local small businesses. Just because Buy Low is set up to be the lower tier in the Urban Fare/Save On/Nesters conglomerate doesn't mean people do not want quality ingredients and options available to them! Shame on whoever is doing the buying to set it up this way. Extra star because the staff is and has always been great and I have no complaints about the service.

Buy-Low Value. A great supermarket chain to visit that has their own in house bakery that bakes their own bread and pastries, a deli department where you can purchase cold cuts, cooked rotisserie chicken to go and other snacks to heat up at home. A meat department to order special cuts or specific size packages of meat. Typical selection of fresh and frozen produce, dairy, etc to meet all your daily needs. Big, wide aisles with lots of selection and good reasonable pricing. Weekly flyers featuring their sales of the week. Efficient cashier at all check-outs. They used to have a number of adorable miniature shopping carts for their little shoppers in training. My son as a small child used to love pushing one of these carts around with us and filling it up when we were making small shopping runs. Much better place to come for value than Safeway.

Just left this store feeling very happy that kindness still do exist during this uncertain time. While I checked out, I asked the cashier when they'd get the now-elusive toilet paper and she gave me the stash she was setting aside for home. I was shopping for my 72 year old mom who's precautionarily isolated at home and so this was very, very helpful. I'm sorry I didn't remember the cashier's name but it cannot be said enough that the staff here are always very happy, kind, and accommodating even prior to these current events. Everyone else shopping here now, please always reciprocate the kindness, patience and respect they give you, most especially these days. Head office/owners, please work towards compensating your staff hugely as they are, have been so essential during this time in our city.

Unlike their competition - 'chain' grocers who seem have Soviet-style top-down decisionmaking - there are a few things that I can no longer find at The Big Supermarket because some numpty at corporate HQ decided that they needed to be seen to make a decision and pulled the product - and a narrow supply chain,This location has a terrific selection, the staff listen and respond to customer requests, and local management appears to have a measure of autonomy. They seem to 'cast their nets wide' and take chances with new suppliers and products (yesterday I discovered a hot ghost pepper salsa made in Texas (tastes like 'pain ' BTW, but I'll be back for more) oh, and the staff seem happy, therefore management is non-toxic...which is a pass/fail situation when I choose where to shop.

  • Mark K

I'm usually a No Frills guy but I like to shop here if I'm in the area and need some things. It's nice and large, wide aisles and lots of clearance to maneuver around. Prices are almost as good as it gets these days but No Frills definitely beats them on quite a lot of items but not by much. They excel at variety of items offered and they have a HUGE selection of sauces and condiments etc. Probably better than any other supermarket and they carry local and home industry types of items as well which is nice to see. Also enormous is the selection of breakfast cereals, granola, seeds and such. Seriously, it's a little overwhelming if you're not prepared. And FULL SERVICE CHECKOUTS! Not one self checkout kiosk to be found. Hopefully they will keep it that way.

  • LEMON PUCCA

I like this place, unassuming, good deals and selection. They also have depending on the time of year .... Contests to win money ? They also contribute to charities. They guys are real community oriented business. I have never had to refund anything there or had a conflict. Yep met some neighbours there, too. Here is the thing they have better prices for food than shoppers drug mart down below so you have to go the buy low first. Before you wander the kingsgate mall. ... They have parking for cars and bikes. It's free parking. BUT if you do choose to go please check out the mural on the south side of the building... It's my favourite it is an octopus where the eye is a window. You can try to take a picture but it won't work.. it's so big.

Feels weird writing a review about a grocery store, but I just had to after today's experience. I've been preparing a holiday dinner, and keep having to make trips to the store because I can't ever seem to find everything I need at once. Buy Low was out of tarragon today, and I was getting frustrated looking for it. Mark, in the meat department, picked up on this and asked if I needed help finding anything. I said yes, and when we determined Buy Low was out he offered to call Nestor's across the street to see if they had any! They did! Mark went the extra mile today for me, and it really put me in the Christmas spirit. Merry Christmas Mark! Aside from that it's just a nice grocery store with a good selection :)

I have lived in the neighborhood for more than a decade. Use to enjoy shopping for groceries here. But this place has gone down hill over the last two years. There has been a major change in supply and layout and the line ups at the till are always a challenge. I will be trying to find a new place to get my groceries. They used to have way more selection of pop for example, but not anymore. Who ever is making the decisions they aren't helping the people in the neighborhood who shop there. I went to but some sticky rice today and - they didn't have it although they use to.

  • Craig Birks

This was my go to store. I shopped there enough over the years that I knew where everything I wanted was so that I could be in and out in less than ten minutes. Recently, they stopped carrying a majority of the products I preferred to purchase and moved everything around so what I did want was hard to find. After a frustrating search for my groceries and settling on things I did not want I went to pay and there were three tills open with ten plus people in each line. As a result, I put my basket down and walked out. That will be my last visit to Buy-Low Foods.

Jan 2023 Edit: Gotta say (as with everyone else) the quality of Buy Low has really gone downhill. The shelves are often empty and the selection is now much worse, now the shelves are just bulked out with western family products. I used to love buy low, now they’re no different than any other grocery store around. Original (2020) post: Not basement prices but there are certainly deals to be found here. They have a great selection, the produce is immaculately picked stacked, and the butcher (and deli) has a great selection of cuts. Very friendly staff as well.

  • r liong

Used to enjoy coming here for our groceries for the last few years, since moving to the area. Ever since save on took over the prices have increased substantially, the product lines have changed for the worse, and the people who work there have become less welcoming. The last visit there the till person tossed our groceries onto the packing belt and it felt like they were throwing a tantrum. We used to enjoy walking here but we will likely take the extra time and go elsewhere.

  • V B

Nothing glamorous about this shop but it has everything I need and at reasonable prices. There's a good assortment of ethnic foods and a decent amount of organic and seasonal local produce. We've been shopping here for about 5 years now and I feel that the store does a good job of listening to what its customers want and its selection of food has evolved accordingly. The customer service is always very friendly and attentive too. Solid, affordable base shop for your groceries.

  • Neena Deol

Always well stocked with long date of expirations and friendly staff. I went in one day where people had formed a line down the middle of the store. To make matters worse people infront did not stop others from cutting in line. Technically they were in the right to line up directly infront of a cashier. I did complain but staff said they are understaffed today and can’t keep telling people to stop lining up in the middle of the store. Cashiers should have told people!

  • Evan Harding

If people wanted to shop at Save On Foods, they wouldn't be at Buy Low, so why convert Buy Low to Save On in everything but name? This store no longer carries half of the items I used to come here for (particularly gluten-free products from companies like Schar and Little Northern Bakehouse), and those they do still carry are now at exorbitant prices. $3.49 for Campbell's chicken broth? $5.99 for a 5 lb bag of potatoes?! This isn't the only grocery store in town.

  • Asuka Forest

This is a review as of October 29, 2022. I've shopped here for about 10 years and always loved it. Great staff, service, and selection. I would have given 5 stars then. But recently, with the management/ownership change, products have completely changed. Very limited selections, especially for vegan and international options. Staff remains the same and they continue to be wonderful, but given such limited options, I'm in search of a different place to shop.

  • Ulrike Rodrigues

I live nearby and this and the SuperStore on Grandview (located on the excellent Central Valley Greenway bike path) are my two main supermarkets, otherwise I go to smaller local stores. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The store is usually quite clean and tidy too, especially the produce section. At the front of the door they tell you how much of the produce is local, often it numbers more than 20 fruits and vegetables. Good work!

  • Life Of Why

Horrible service from Lowela. She simply left my paper bag, which I paid for on the counter, for me to bag my own groceries. I asked; am I supposed to bag my own groceries. She advised; I as a customer need to ask them to do it for me because sometimes they do it, and sometimes they don't. I especially appreciate the way she sarcastically said; " thanks sir ". I will remember that's how customers get treated while shopping at buy low.

  • GlennRod Scharf

Misleading refillable bottles advertisement. And wouldn't take the same size bottle (19.1 litres) because it didn't have "a label" on it anymore. But they had bottles with 2 different labels on theirs, plus another bottle which said "Primo" label built into the bottle which is actually a "Walmart Brand bottle" for the water machines that they sell. I know this first-hand because I bought one.

  • Gary Glans

Clean, fresh and Friendly. In the east side Mount Pleasant area there is no better produce. They are superior to urban fare and cheeper. The staff work hard to keep the store stocked and clean. Yah its a buy low... but just drop the pretentious whole foods attitude and check this place out! It really has some great items in store and stuff is available on the shelves when you need it.

  • j k

As others have noted, the selection and quality have gone downhill since the buy-out. Staple products are regularly out of stock and prices are uncompetitive. In addition, the store seems to have an uncontrolled pest problem - have found multiple bakery and pantry products that have been gnawed open and left to develop mould on shelves, as well as droppings, on separate occasions.

  • Kel Green

Buy Low Foods is one of my favorite grocery stores to shop at. It's even better I think then No-Frills. They have a little more service in the meat department and Bakery and Deli for example. Their displays are a little nicer to look at, too. Mainly, the prices and deals are really great at Buy Low Foods. It may be a few cents higher but it's worth it in my opinion.

  • Sam Dabrusin

The staff are so awesome and friendly, they get 5 stars! That said, ever since it changed ownership the prices and product selection have taken a turn for the worse. I've been shopping here for over 10 years and it used to be known for having some of the better bargains around. Now the prices make it tough to justify a trip, even though the staff are so great.

  • davkay94

Buy-Low (Sell High) - this place used to be our go-to place to shop but everything is waaaaay too expensive compared to anywhere else, like No Frills etc. I highly doubt their own workers can even afford to buy their food. Butter should not cost $7, go to no frills or Walmart instead! Bought a minimal amount of food here and it cost a fortune!!!

  • Dia Jane

Don’t let the name fool you… these are some of the HIGHEST prices you’ll find at a grocery store. Not to mention the produce looks like literal compost. The customer service is hit or miss… sometimes you’ll get a kind and patient person and sometimes you’re met with a rude and absent individual. Go literally anywhere else, this place is hogwash.

  • Jasper Dikmans

Buy Low claims its “philosophy is to provide you with low, low food prices.” Words are cheap, actions are not (and neither are the products at Buy Low). This philosophy is a joke - the prices are outrageous for what’s supposed to be a lower priced grocery store - you might as well go to Whole Foods if you’re paying premium prices anyways.

  • Kale Stedman

They have groceries, you buy it, low price. Daily specials, good selection, convenient hours. The produce section is a thing of beauty when fully stocked - looks great, nice one folks! Edit August 2019: Nesters Market moved in across the street. Don't be fooled. Buy-Low is both cheaper and better. Nesters ain't got sh*t on Buy-Low.

  • Thomas Sowinski

What can I say? It's my local grocery store. Good prices, decent produce and a pretty good meat department. I do the majority of my food shopping here, they carry just about everything I need. Lines are generally not too long even during rush times because the managers seem to be on top of opening all the tills if it's busy.

  • Gregory McCay

It’s got a very complete line of fruit, produce, dairy, Asian and packaged/ canned foods. Even with store name, prices not necessarily lowest in neighbourhood. However, key factor=convenience: one-stop-shopping, ample free parking and very central, convenient location (Kingsway@East Broadway/ Kingsgate Mall, Vancouver, BC)

  • Aziz Zouaoui

A pretty decent grocer. Not the best at any single thing, but is well rounded. Lots of cheap spices and a good amount of ethnic foods. Butcher could be better. I'd like to see some chicken or turkey sausages, and not just plain Lillydale ones. That would make me a much more regular customer. Bosa Foods is a great example.

  • Valerie Eades

I was surprised at how much more expensive it was compared to other major grocery stores. All the staples I buy at Save On were 50 cents to a $1 more per item at Bu-low. I found a loaf of bread on sale that was lower priced but was also much smaller. Giving 2 stars because I did appreciate that it had a decent selection.

  • jack g m w

Slightly older supermarket but very bright, clean and nice wide aisles something that newer store layouts no longer offer as they are trying to capitalize on every square centimeter of space these days. The produce section has a lot of choice and is of good quality. Overall I like the shopping experience here!

  • Travis “Lit review” Power!

Best place for total family success....good deals and decent crowds. Classic spot for great food and good deals. Wheelchair accessible and downstairs has a liquor store it's called Kingsgate mall but Bi-Lo Foods on this spot hands down good place to grab drinks to get lit and grab food upstairs at Bi-Lo Foods

  • Katie Roth

I used to rely on it heavily because they sourced ingredients I couldn't find elsewhere. However, since being bought by Save-On there's not much difference between them and anywhere else. Their produce selection is still good, but all the local and/or unique items I loved are gone and the prices are too high.

  • Steve Balletto

Ever since this store switched over to More Rewards, their prices have gone up a bunch. More than other stores. They used to be fair priced. Also they have stopped carrying many products to only stock Western Family, their house brand. I try to avoid as much as possible, but super convenient location for me.

  • M Bhatti

Good prices, full shelves and helpful staff this place is a gem, especially in Vancouver. They even offer free parking and shopping carts, unlike other grocery stores in the city. It's usually packed on typical shopping days but they have a number of lanes that are always open. Highly recommended.

  • Tyler Day

All around good store. Nice to see the Ocean Wise partnership. Great produce, dry goods and deli offering. Red meat and poultry selection needs work. Would be great to see Canadian Blue Goose beef and more free range chicken. Maple Hills poultry would be a nice touch. They already carry the eggs.

  • Declan Tran

from Nester Market to this BLF, I've got low quality fruit and meat products @ high price point. I understand it's a small local store but sorry, your produce session needs serious check up as they all seem like 3 week old... Buy-low foods should be called buy low-qual-foods sorry.

  • Eliondes Silva

A good supermarke, I always found what I need. The prices is ok, there are fruits, vegetables, meats... A positive pont is some differents coffees types, there is a machine and you can choose you cooffe (you can buy coffee beans or choose one and grind your coffee, it is perfect.

  • Kevin Josephs

Great shopping experience. Leslie is an excellent staff member with A1 customer service. The store was buddy and I had been waiting in line for a few minutes. When I got to the till I realized I had forgotten something. Leslie was nice enough to run over and grab the item for me.

  • Casey Byrne

Whoever stocks produce deserves a raise because it's always so organized and beautiful. Great selection of most products, I just wish the prices were a bit lower. At least you get to use the shopping carts without having to pay $1 deposit though! Excellent location as well.

  • Colin Loughran

While Mount Pleasant is rapidly gentrifying, Buy-Low remains a fairly affordable bastion of lower prices. It doesn't have all the perks you will find elsewhere, but unlike other cheaper grocery stores, No-Frills, the quality here hasn't been compromised for cost.

  • Donald Yapp (Hungry Ghost)

One of the brighter aspects of Kingsgate Mall which is, to be honest, a little bit tragic. Decent supermarket. Has deli, bakery and small bulk foods section. Produce section not the best, but if you're getting basic groceries, you can't go wrong at this Buy-Low.

  • Hayley Kellow

Incredibly disappointed to learn that the MyNR loyalty program is being discontinued and replaced with the 'more rewards' loyalty program. MyNR stood out from the rest and was the main reason I chose to shop at Buy Low Foods. You've lost me as a customer now.

  • Dan Ward

Mt. Pleasant institution selling all the supermarket goods you would expect at fair prices (unlike Save On a few blocks away). Ample bike and car parking and located above the other convenient wonders and delights of Kingsgate Mall makes it even better.

  • Niko Gaye

The selection has gotten noticeably worse, the prices are insane now, and the security guards always breathe down your neck even though I'm well dressed and put together and I'm not doing anything wrong. I honestly just go to nofrills at this point

  • t thom

Buy-Low is getting too expensive for the locals. Like the rents, everything is going up in price b/c the new folks moving in are financed by mommy and daddy who live in the west side or W. Vancouver, etc. The new people could give a darn

  • William McElroy

Well I thought I'd try a different grocery store from the one I usually go to so I dropped by buy low foods on Broadway at kingsway ave since being in a wheelchair I was glad the was access also if you want to check out kings gate mall

  • G

This Buy-Low has been my local grocery store for so many years but now it’s been bought out by the same owners as save-on food, it’s changed for the worse. It doesn’t have the same products as they did before :( Pro - Staff is friendly

  • Lee Mckeown

I used to LOVE this Buy Low but since Save On has purchased it I have noticed a big change in a bad way. The selection is lacking, I cannot get many of the previous items I used to. Yesterday, I needed white wine vinegar and they only

  • Travis Gingerich

Nice neighborhood grocery store with good selection. Prices are high compared to big-box grocery stores, but it's a good spot to pop in and grab your quick grocery needs through the week when you can't get to Superstore, etc.

  • Jesse Brandt

This used to be my go to grocery store but my vehicle is now too tall to park there. No idea why they would want to turn away sprinter van and "over height vehicle" (lifted Tacoma w/ roof top tent) drivers. Very unfortunate.

  • Marnee Klintworth

The usual grocery items, the store at Kingsgate Mall has a deli and bakery. The BuyLow on Fraser Street doesn't have either but good for a quick run for groceries, getting stuff for kids lunches for school or supper & such.

  • B G

This is the store that is upstairs from my review from downstairs. This is food place. And it has food. I went here for 5 things, cost me 185$. Lol a lil exaggerated. But good for getting things for not dying of starvation

  • Jenna and Denis Flinn

This grocery store makes me love grocery shopping. Prices are affordable. Staff are so friendly. They have most of what you are looking for, and if they don't, they will tell you where you can find it. Highly recommended.

  • W T

Friendly staff and a decent rotation on produce make this a dependable local grocery stop. Always busy and a number of shops on the lower mall level, get a haircut, buy a tv, pickup some rétro clothes plis BCLB is here.

  • Dmon Bman

Decent selection and price point. Some items that I enjoy are constantly out of stock. As a result I "panic" buy. This was before Covid. Someone in the "ordering/buying" department is not aware of purchasing trends.

  • Michael Kehl

Nice grocery store. Tons of free parking. Good selection and reasonable/comparable prices to other stores in its class. Lines can be a bit long at busy times, but nothing agregous. Weekly flyer has good deals.

  • Clinton Tang

I was very excited to go to buy low foods, but was very disappointed to find that their prices were NOT LOW. Their almond milk actually costs more than Whole Foods! ($5 vs. $4.10)! Go to No Frills if you can!

  • A L

Someone brought me here once and didn’t know about buy-low! -Parking on the roof (free at least in 2018) -convenient for those who live in the neighbourhood -large selection -produce may or may not be fresh

  • Scott W

Went in for the advertised sale on striploins for 9.99 lb and not one to be found at that price. Both import and domestic over $33/kg. Not even a sold out sign!! Very disappointing to use such a lure.

  • L

This place used to be pretty good.....but recently they have stopped putting enough peoe in the tills....even closed one of the express lanes permanently.....and now it has very long lines and waits.

  • Megan

Almost exactly the same products as Save On, but better deals. They carry Western Family and big brands. Way nicer place and selection than No Frills. Better service than the Cambie Save On by far.

  • William Nelson

Was not busy, I went to Buy-Low because I was informed that their meats was the best, however upon buying stewing beef,I found outside of meat was coated with fresh blood and inside was grey brown.

  • Solomon Wong

Good produce and grocery items. Deli items tend to all be from off site locations. Pay close attention to weekly specials as they tend to have deep discounts that are good finds. Large parking lot.

  • S M

Ive been trying to get a sandwich here for weeks, since I work in the area but everything has bacon.. kind of annoying for us people who don't eat pork! But 4 stars because everyone is super nice

  • Sabrina Zoeller

Honestly, this used to be my favorite go-to grocery store... Until save-on bought it. The prices and selection are pretty much the same as save-on now. Just another insanely expensive store.

  • Angel Liu

Their employee, Dahat went above and beyond to help my mom and I find our parking space and helped us carry the groceries. Really appreciative. Great friendly service and great store!

  • Tahmina Kane

Too expensive. This place is not cheap. It's a nice store and the veggies and fruits look fresh enough but the prices are just ridiculous. Capsicums were around $10 kilo or $5 pound.

  • dylann coote

Great selection of produce and good quality. Also you can find many very hard to find spices and gourmet products. A much better experience then the local Save On, located on main.

  • J J

MANY occasions the cashiers are insanely rude… noticeably to POC- then in the same minute friendly and appropriate interactions with white folks. It’s insane and very noticeable.

  • C Me

This hidden gem is a great store. It's not as busy as other grocery stores. It is very clean store. There is always great deals and fresh produce. Free parking and great staff.

  • Al Varty

Was the best grocery store in Vancouver. Now they’re just the same as all the others. They changed their suppliers and gotten rid of anything that made them special.

  • Gwyn McIntosh

My favourite grocery store by far! Unpretentious yet great sourcing of products! Did you know, if you check for ethical sourcing they rate well? Way to go buy-low!

  • Andrea Vancouver

Always my favourite grocery store. Clean and tidy with a great selection. It also has a couple of race car buggies for kids as well as children sized buggies. Fun.

  • Toe

A great place to grocery shop. Prices are alright and parking is suitable. Watch out for the most obvious 'undercover' security guard trying to keep a low profile.

  • Sarah Little

No line ups and lots of staff to help out is needed. The shelves are well stocked and there is plenty of free parking. One of the better community grocery stores.

  • Isabel R.

Have been going here to do groceries over the years, have become a little more pricey but some items you can find for good deals. Clean store and helpful workers.

  • Daniel Parkinson

This place is a dump. Barely anything on the shelves, it seemingly hasn’t been renovated since the 1980s. No price tags. A very poor selection and very expensive.

  • Justin Sidon

The Buy-Low Foods located in the Kings Gate mall is a great location to shop at! The staff provide a great service and environment meeting all my shopping needs!

  • Josh Singleton

Always on point, best protein choices and price. Also the most friendly, helpful and just happy staff I have seen in any Vancouver store. Always a treat to go.

  • joanne schutz

You now use a Save on More card here. It's a nice little grocery store but can be a little bit overpriced. Staff is friendly and products are usually in stock.

  • Patrick pg

I am liking this store more and more. Tenderloin for a reasonable price. Great produce and meat section. Always well maintained with great friendly staff.

  • Allen Lam

Great supermarket! Has everything my family needs and at very good prices. Customer service is good and has a feel of being part of the neighbourhood.

Happy for this to be my local grocer. Very well-stocked produce section. Good prices. Surprisingly good meatless-meat (tofu, tempeh) selection.

Best product i have had is their in house made sausages. Chorizo, pork and apple, maple blueberry and others. Excellent quality and taste

Just paid an extra 25% for my coffee here. They wouldn’t price match the other stores I managed to google, without holding up the line.

The prices are just OK, the selection of vegan foods is OK. They always have lots of staff on checkout so you never have to wait long.

My go to grocery store! They have weekly specials that never let me down (even ben and Jerry's!) and the staff are incredibly helpful.

New owner. Never good sales anymore. They post a "Great Price" sign on a ripoff and hope for idiots. I go elsewhere most of the time.

Bi-Lo stuff seems to be more expensive than any other grocery store I noticed in the lower mainland... Don't be fooled by the name

Good selection, decent prices. It's a bit small, so doesn't always have the unique things that bigger grocery stores might have.

Not sure why the parking lot has clearance thing cause it’s open air but I knocked off my roof rack and bike the other day lol

  • Lorri Prime

Nice little grocery store. Nice staff (especially Bernie)!!! Reasonable selection of products. Products have been re-arranged.

  • Hannah Glasspoole

Great produce, and good variety of products. Fair prices. The baked goods section is about average for a big grocery store.

I have a question?? Why not have machine automatic Better control traffic clients !! …

  • Colin Schebek

I've shopped here daily for years. Rancid chicken is unacceptable.

  • Ben Mak

Good essential grocery store. Prices not exactly as name said.
