I tried this place because I was told it was pretty good and I got a group on deal. I show up on Saturday (walk-in) I wanted a dozen cupcakes, pair of 6...I didn't see alot of "product" (hardly any cupcakes) so I asked if I could place an order for a later date. The woman insisted on being able to assist us but we would have to get 4,4,4..no thanks. I was searching for a good bakery for a bday coming up. So I scheduled a pickup a few days from then to try theyre cupcakes. At the pickup, they were ADORABLE! I was excited and hopeful..too bad. They were stale, stale and staler! Very disappointing. I call them, pick up a "new batch" (By the way, It really upset me to have to return and exchange these cupcakes! Was it because it was a Groupon? I don't understand why I got stale cupcakes for a preorder!? Did you take my order, fill in some old cupcakes, left it there til I came to pick it up 3days later? Wth?) The new batch was better,cause they were "fresh"..they were good..but the experience left such an awful taste in my mouth...I don't recommend them..No wonder they're on Groupon..stale cupcakes. Bummer.

We just moved to the and we're on a mission to find a new go to bakery! My young daughter and I are big on cupcakes & this place did not disappoint! Everything weve tried has been great but we already have our favorites! I am picky with my dessert as I prefer them not to be overly sweet and this place fits the bill. We visited last week and we came back for more today! Our favorites; Burnt almond- not too sweet, has the perfect amount of almond flavor and crunch Red velvet chocolate chip- moist red velvet with mini chocolate chips and cream cheese frosting. You can taste the cream cheese, its.not over powered by sugar Moist Chocolate Ganache- moist chocolate cupcake with whipped frosting topped with ganache. The ladoes that helped us both times were super sweet and helpful. Only room for improvement is the space, it feels a little crowded with the seating and I think it can be made a bit cozier and more inviting.

Cute, tasty cake with great crumb factor. You know how experts say the crumb of a cake must be moist and perfection (or something like that… I am no expert…)? Well the marble cake here had exemplary crumb-factor (if that’s how you say it!). I would go back to them for a cake again but I would do things a little differently. The manager who took my order ended up picking a picture that had a watermark. So, the printing on the cake had multiple watermarks. It became a clever game of “put the candle where the watermark is” but it didn’t need to happen that way. Also, while the Manager Vanessa was great and accommodating, few of the more junior staff were difficult to work with and dismissive. Didn’t love that. All in all, I’d try them again but this time, I would make sure I worked with Vanessa only and also picked all the details and photos for my cake.

Great bakery, probably one of the best in San Jose. My only concern is that they have made it extremely difficult to place an order. You first have to complete an online form, then you get a quote, then you have to pay a deposit over the phone or in-person, and then pick up the cake. You cannot place the order in-store. Even though the store is open throughout the week. Also if you want to pay using credit card, there is a 4% fee. They can easily roll this fee up on the cost of the cake rather than charging separately. It’s a hassle to have to pay the 50% deposit in cash if someone wants to save 4% in credit card fees. You basically have to drive to the store, pay the deposit in cash and then go again to pick up the cake. Please make it easy for your customers to place orders and process payments.

I bought the "Raspberry Vanilla" cake in July 2023, and it was EXQUISITE from first to last bite! The frosting itself is a dream come true, and mixed with the cake leaves a flavorful taste in your mouth that makes you ask for encores! The purple well-wishing on the cake was beautifully written, so much so that my family even hesitated to cut the cake :) "C'est Si Bon," as the family-owned bakery calls itself, is an understatement for a name, and should rather be called "Délice Des Dieux = Delight of Gods." The service at the store is excellent, courteous, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this bakery for ANY event since they have a delicious assortment of cakes, cupcakes, and Persian cookies to choose from. Enjoy!

Came here because of a Groupon plus deal for 50% off (and a Yelp check in offer)! The cakes are extremely intricate and they have quite a significant number of different designs on display. I was impressed by this although will I was only hunting for smaller treats. The cookie selection is great here and the pricing is extremely reasonable for bakery cookies. I would definitely be willing to go back to get more of these in the future. The pastries were a bit expensive at $4/ea for small sized items. That being said the quality was very good. My favorite was the churro cupcake which had a great cinnamon bun like flavor. The churro piece on top was stale though :(. Overall nice place with good quality but potentially a bit pricy.

The staff at C’est Si Bon Bakery are extremely responsive and thorough.Jordan helped finalize the particulars for our wedding cake. She was detail oriented, and very kind. I’m looking forward to seeing and tasting their creation. Update: I knew it!! The wedding cake not only looked beautiful, it was delicious! Every single aspect involving C’est Si Bon went perfectly. The cake was exactly what we had asked for and they boxed it well for travel and for ease of opening. While there, we purchased one of their Napoleons - Oh my goodness- it was amazing! Thank you again for being SO good at what you do. You were a huge part of making our wedding such a success. ❤️

Honestly I don't recommend this place at all, I bought a wedding cake and the outside was beautiful, but the quality of the cake, the flavor was so disappointed, it was super sweet and for the money they asked me, I really think they could put a little more effort on it, and I just could taste that they use very simple and cheap ingredients for the recipes, I didn't like it at all, I'm sorry but I'm so disappointed, they just look nice outside but not quality at all, and terrible highly price. I really they would be a little more professional and know that for the amount they ask they could do better. I won't be back.

We had a small wedding party at home on Dec 2019. My sister-in-law recommended C’est Si Bon Bakery for our wedding cake and Persian pastry. From the start of my order, they were very organized. Since I was not living in San Jose, they gave all the info by email, and they were really patient with my questions. They did a great job for the wedding cake, based on the photo I send them. The taste and the shape were both amazing, and everybody loved it. The Persian pastry was also super delicious. I can not wait to order some for Norouz. We had the pleasure of working with C'est Si Bon for our wedding. From the timely communication to the reasonable pricing, they were an incredible team! Aside from the beautiful wedding cake, we also chose to purchase Persian cookies for dessert which were a hit! The cake itself was delicious. We had our florest add flowers to the naked cake and it turned out exactly how we pictured it. The other great thing about C'est Si Bon is that they deliver the cake and cookies which made our wedding day less stressful. Overall I highly recommend using C'est Si Bon for any cake and dessert needs!

I was looking for a place that delivers birthday cakes thru Doordash. This was one of the places recommended. I liked the look of the cake in the photo, but it also had a disclaimer that it may look a little different in person. I was NOT disappointed! The cake was adorable, looked like the photo on the selection site, and there was also a little dragon to put in the center. The funfetti cake itself was moist, not dry, and the strawberry cream middle was tasty. I was very pleased with the cake and look forward to trying their cupcake flavors in the future.

I am truly sooooo thankful to the whole team at C'est Si Bon Bakery!!! The amount of detail on my brothers birthday cake is unreal and most importantly, so delicious. These pets have been so important to him, so when he saw the cake, it left him speechless!!! Orange is his favorite color and the team at C'est Si Bon was so understanding on the importance of all aspects of the cake. It was a : Marble oreo cake with cappuccino filling and buttercream icing With Fondant decoration I will be going back to C'est Si Bon Bakery without a doubt. I cannot wait!!!

They provided our wedding cake at our venue and it was beautiful and delicious. We received a voucher for a one year anniversary cake from our venue. One year later, I ordered our anniversary cake. It was beautifully decorated. That evening we went to slice together and a long ombre pink hair was mixed in the cake and frosting . Ruined our anniversary dessert. When I picked up our cake the majority of staff had their hair down and yes one of them had long pink ombre hair. I'm sure if employees wear their hair down, this must happen often.

Extremely happy with the service, ordered a red velvet cake for my girlfriend and gave the bakery something to write on there, and they understood the assignment and added the appropriate theme design on top to go with it! The writing was very neat and clean as well as the designs! Additionally, this cake was ordered about 40 minutes before closing (not recommended for moral reasons, but I appreciate them for coming through on the design regardless.) Will definitely be using this place in the future for bakery needs.

I ordered last Saturday cake and cupcake, for very small cake and 12 cupcake, they charged me $200, during my order I told them repeatedly as the cake shouldn't be too sugary and sweet but the cake and cupcakes too sugary and done reverse of my order, all my guests can't eat it becouse the sugar in the cake too much,we throwed the whole cake what kind of taking too much money but destroying people happiness and health by ignoring the requested order for the cake..this is modern robbery!!

I called two days before my son's graduation (a year later...yay!) to order a cake, and they were able to accommodate my request. I am in another state. Talked to Didi over the phone; went over every detail of my cake. I sent them a photo of what I wanted, and the cake turned out better than I could have expected. I finally got my brothers bday cake and we all loved it. The cake was baked to perfection and the topping was not too sweet, but the right amount. We actually messed up in picking up our order and when my husband reached there the place was already closed. I tried dialing them for more than 7 times and luckily someone picked up. And I really need to thank them for handing over the cake even after it was closed. It really made my day.

We have never enjoyed cake so much since leaving Chicago 25 years ago! The best almond cake, the best chocolate mousse too! Awesome people take care of you with kindness, sincerity and joy. I ordered a half dozen cupcakes for my daughter's bday and they were awesome! She wanted a very random theme "Violet," from Leapfrog and her cupcakes came out wonderful. I called many other bakeries and most declined to make only 6 cupcakes and/or was not able to make the design. I picked up on a Sunday and ate them Tuesday evening and they were still very moist and just perfect. Really made my daughters day! :)

First time coming here all the way from East Side SJ and will definitely be back. Staff was friendly and helpful. Originally came in for last minute birthday cupcakes but the cakes on display looked so yummy- ended up getting the Burnt Almond cake! Everyone at the party loved it and I am glad they had candles and all the things needed to make this same day cake buy look like it was planned

I am not a person fond of cakes. I never eat cakes, but this cake just blew my mind ! The vanilla cake with buttercream icing and burnt almond filling, it was just AMAZING. They forgot to ask me to pay the deposit when I finalized the order over phone, and so when I call on the day of pickup, NO CAKE because I didn't complete the order. No cake for my 1 year old! I've never heard of a system where the customer has to remind the seller of a deposit they need to finalize an order. How unbelievably disappointing for such an important day

Loved our experience with this amazing bakery. When you walk in it is nothing fancy but the the mini Persian pastries we order for my nieces wedding were superb! so beautiful and incredibly tasty. Sepi was a delight to deal with. So professional, kind and efficient. I highly recommend them and will always order my pastries from them for sure.

Inconsistent pricing, was quoted for a 1/4 sheet cake $160.00, then requested just 3 flowers to be put on the cake w/writing (9 letters total), new price quote was $116.00. Same style cake(3 flowers & writing) was ordered 2 months ago and it was $85.00!

Cake was cute and yummy. I never expect perfection or to be treated like royalty when I shop, but I found myself getting uncharacteristically annoyed because the phone and counter service was awkward. Courteous yes, but a bit unorganized.

They have really great napoleons. But the selection of ready to buy cakes is very limited; at the time I went there they had only chocolate mousse cake and raspberry mousse cake. I bought a raspberry mousse, it was ok one, not very great.
