Absolutely Fabulous, we originally used C Bains 14 years ago when we moved from Havering to Mid Essex, and we decided to commission them again in a local 'Mile down the road' move, but this time using packing services as well. The plan was to pack and load the lorry on the Tuesday with 80% of our belongings, thus allowing us the Wednesday to empty the loft and storage space, and for them to return on Thursday to collect our remaining items - and then unload the entire contents in our new property. The process wen like clockwork, on Tuesday, two professional operatives turned up, looked at what needed to be packed and from then it was a heads down whirlwind of a day. By mid afternoon pretty much everything that could be packed and loaded was and that left us to the next phase. On Thursday, three members of the team turned up, punctual polite and efficient loaded the rest of the items including all the large heavy bits and we were off - within a couple of hours the lorry was unloaded, the guys worked so very hard it was faultless. We had zero damage, to any items small or large, everything was packed to prevent breakage. This was again an impressive operation. Were we dissapointed - definitely not, were we impressed for a second time - yes we were, quality was maintained over the years - I guess this is what you get using a quality company with old school family values. If you value your possessions then these are the guys to trust. Everyone we had contact with was knowledgable, polite, courteous and outstandingly professional, could not recommend these guys enough. We don't have any immediate plans to move certainly not for the next decade but be rest assured C Bains will be our first choice if/when it happens. Lastly a personal shout out to Andy, Kevin & Bill - you were stunning beyond belief, thanks.

As soon as Andy walked through my front door to give me a quote I knew I would be using his firm. He remembered moving us into that house 12 years before. He was excellent when he was doing the estimation, explaining everything to me calmly and patiently, even when I just did not understand how a two day move would work. My fault, not his. As I knew when I wanted my completion date but hadn't exchanged contracts, I just had to phone the office and they penciled me in. Linda, on the phone, was absolutely lovely every time I rang with an update, even though we were getting very close to my hoped for move date and still hadn't exchanged contracts. I paid for the packing service and Andy and John did a wonderfully professional job of packing my stuff, and left me what I needed to last the next couple of days until move day. On the day of the move they kept me updated on their arrival time as they were caught in traffic. It took a bit longer to pack the truck than expected because the poor things had to completely take apart my wardrobe. On the following day when they arrived to move me into my house, they couldn't have been nicer or more considerate. They brought everything in and set it up exactly where I wanted it. Andy even got me to go round the house at the end to check it was all where I wanted. It struck us how the guys were extremely polite to each other as well, they treated each other with the same respect they treated us. I would like to thank them for making what is a very stressful day as easy and stress free as they could. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending C. Bain removals.

We used C. Bain of Upminster for our move from Romford to Frinton-On-Sea, and through the whole process they were extremely helpful and professional! From the initial visit Andy was polite and explained the whole process, giving estimates on time scales and even what to do at certain points of the sale and purchase process. I called the office many times to check and pencil in any dates that the chain proposed… and even though this changed many times, Linda was very understanding, accommodating and helpful during this stressful time. They delivered all the materials we needed well in advance and provided more than enough for our needs. When the day came, Andy and the boys got started nice and early, and despite the rain, and road being blocked with cars, they were proactive and started the process of loading. We opted for dismantling of beds, which they also assemble the other end to make life a bit easier on the day. The contents of our 3 bed house was loaded on to the lorry by 11am. The new house was over an hour away, but when we arrived to Frinton the keys were ready, and so were Andy and his team, who were waiting for us at the property. They started unloading at 1pm and finished at 3pm, with all boxes in the correct rooms, including assembling the beds! What could have been such a stressful day was actually made easy with the help of Andy and the team. Overall, we would definitely use C. Bain of Upminster again and would highly recommend everyone to use them!

We have used Bains for our house moving twice now, once in the mid 90's and last week. We've moved 250 miles away and after a long protracted house selling process that took over a year Bains remained fantastic. We kept in regular contact throughout and I can only say that Mrs Bain was the loveliest, most helpful and calming person you could ever wish to talk to in such stressful times, unfortunately I have never met her but I feel that I've known her for years. Then we come to the removal team. Andy, Kevin, John, Brad and Charlie were nothing short of fantastic in every way. We had them pack for us - worth every penny, I recommend it. They unloaded us expertly and apart from them hiding my wife's make-up bag everything was fantastic. None of our property was broken. The boys worked so hard. I cannot recommend this company enough, their is a good reason why they are the oldest removal company in Havering, that's because they are simply the best. Thank you all again to ALL the team. M. Let me elaborate my review. After three calls in January 2021, trying to book a removal, after completing the quote form on the website, no attempt was made to support us. When I called a fourth time to complain, the woman on the phone was incredibly rude saying that they are very busy, no apology that I had called four times after being promised that I was hear back every single time. If you want a reliable firm, go for one who wants your business and doesn't use the form on their website as a way to disqualify customers, according to charge and revenue. Revised to one star as I had to do the move myself with a friend and hiring two vans as I waited and chased C bain for over two weeks.

I cannot praise Andy and his team more. We moved from Essex to Suffolk a few days ago and from the very start of booking the company, they have been fantastic. Excellent communication, very friendly and lots of advice. On the day the team worked like trojans! They were so polite, friendly and professional and made us feel we were in good hands on such a stressful day. We cannot believe how fast they worked at unpacking too at the new house. Highly recommend this company, thank you so much Andy and team!

A professional service from start to finish. Good communication and very helpful all the way. On moving day they turned up on time, put down all protective coverings, put us at ease and cracked on for over 3 hrs. We had a 3hr delay getting keys for our new property, but the guys didn't moan once and again just cracked on. Not one item damaged or broken and would definitely recommend. Thanks for a stressfree move.

We can’t fault C Bain at all. They were very flexible to accommodate our moving date, and on the day Andy and the team were amazing and made what could be a very stressful experience relatively stress free. We had a significant delay before we could get the keys but there were no complaints from the guys at all who were efficient and professional throughout. Would highly recommend C Bain.

If you are looking for a removal company then C.Bain should be top of your list. Packing on day one and moving us on day two the entire team were professional beyond belief - courteous, polite, efficient, friendly and experts in taking down and reconstructing furniture/beds/wardrobes etc. If I am to move in the future there is no doubt at all who I will be using. 100% recommended.

I cannot say how delighted my husband and I have been with the service given by C Bain. From the moment they came into the house to start packing our house up for a move to another part of the country to the unpacking four days later. From start to finish they were professional, helpful and on time. If I was moving again, I would definitely use them and cannot praise them enough.

The service from Bains was outstanding. Could not do enough for us from the quotation right through to the day of moving and kept us informed throughout. There was a few nice touches, which I would not even have thought of, that really ensured they were looking after our possessions and avoiding any damage or mess in our new home.
