I can't speak to the church services themselves because I am not religious and have not attended. However, these people have kindly and generously been providing a really great food box for longer than I know. They don't require any personal information to pick up their food, which is very helpful as a houseless person. The food bank provides a very generous 3 boxes of food per household. One box is cold items, often including some very nice meats. One box is staple pantry items, and another is all produce. Regularly there are optional extras offered, like a whole turkey, flat of green beans, or box of chips as past examples. Usually there are some expired items that don't quite seem safe to eat in my opinion, but that's just a warning for those who may not notice, to check dates and smell things first. Regardless, I'm always impressed with how much great stuff there is in these food boxes. You can drive through or walk up. Cars often line up an hour or two ahead of time. You don't choose what you get, so it may not be best for those with allergies, but I always drop off whatever I won't use at a free fridge and still end up with enough for the week. Thank you C3PDX for always being kind, and for helping folks access food security, without making it about non-consented evangelism.
C3 Church NE Portland is by far the best Church that I have ever been a part of. I grew in church. My Parents have pastored churches in many different states. I have been a part of big mega churches however the first time I walked into the doors of C3 I felt GOD's presence. The people are all so welcoming and loving. People actually come up to you and you can see the compassion in their eyes to get to know you. Pastor Seth and Kaz are so incredibly amazing Pastors. You can see that they have a heart for people and truly care for every single person that walks through the doors of the church. This is truly a Multicultural church. This is a church that Portland Needs. There are people from all walks of life, all ages, and so DIVERSE.... I LOVE MY C3 Family.
I was saved by Gods grace 3 and a half years ago In a prison cell . Praying before I got out to find a spirit filled church the lord directed me to c3 . finding my preschool teacher who use to pray for me with my grandmother back when I was a child was validation that I was in the right place at that moment in my life . With an encouraging word spoken every Sunday the one thing that grasped my heart was when I was welcomed by many fellow believers who genuinely wanted to hear my story In that moment it reminded me of the scriptures. " and the possessions and the goods they were selling, and were parting them to all, according as any one had need " may the lord bestow any spiritual or physical need as they walk in to this house of worship
I recommend this church more highly than Mount Hood! I visited on the first morning they opened and everything was done so well and the people were so good-looking I felt a bit insecure. But that quickly faded as I was welcomed so extravagantly! The Aussie pastors, Seth and Kaz are full of love, especially for outsiders, and have humour overflowing in any situation. The work the church has done under their inspiring leadership (like the regular Food Pantry) is helping so many others in the community feel the same lavish love of Christ I felt on that first morning. If I lived anywhere near Portland, C3 Church NE PDX would be my home church.
It took my husband and I (and our little boy) 4 years to find a church where we felt like we could belong, C3 has embraced us and made us feel like a part of their family. Everybody is super friendly, and welcoming. The Pastors are wonderful and engaging, with great messages on Sunday mornings, they also have great kid classes that my 3 year old loves. Highly recommend this church for your family on Sunday mornings! They also always have great coffee, yummy treats!
Be wary of this church! Filled with many malicious and misaligned spirits. The pastor allows for inner conflict with no true attempt for resolution. He refuses to hold accountable people who are bullying others in the church. Namely Jacob, who participates/leads the choir. Even when people remove themselves from the church, Jacob is still contacting past members, sending childish text messages to create drama.
I had almost given up on churches in Portland. My friend recommended C3RipCity. Instantly I was hooked. The band is awesome. They play different songs weekly. Seth, the Pastor is phenomenal. He teaches with passion and truth. You could tell he really loves Jesus. The church is a little hard to find but the volunteers are there to show you the way. They have yummy treats every Sunday!
I literally love this church. This is a family church and culturally inclusive. The Pastor Seth Brooks is amazing he has a heart made for teaching, and sharing the Gospel. His wife Kaz is the very Soul of this church. Together they function superbly I can't say enough about C3 NE Portland. If you're looking for a church home that is like family, this is the right place!
Very fake church. They try to act friendly but they are really anything but. Most of the folks do not even live in NE Portland. They try to act like a young church but are mostly north of 40. Very not real. Are there any real churches in NE Portland?
We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and assistance from C3 Church! We drove up and even with masks on we knew they were smiling. We received much needed food assistance and they made it so easy. Thank you from our family of six!
Awesome church, friendly people, super welcoming to everyone, very comfortable, kiddos love it and have a blast on Sundays. So glad we found this great church family!
I have never felt so loved, cherished, and supported while being in a community. The leaders and volunteers are incredible, I couldn’t do life without them <3

I love this church! Its only hard to find the first time. The people are loving, and its kid friendly and the message is always uplifting.
