Very cool place I didn't really expect to see somewhere like this around this area. Kind of reminded me of somewhere you might see in Brighton, UK or Penang or Melbourne perhaps. I'm pretty certain whether you're into the style or not you won't forget it. Coffee was excellent - one of the best I've had recently and cookie was tasty. Looks like they do more established food like pizzas and cocktails at times but it was a quick visit so not sure. Service was excellent and there's a few parking spaces outside - definitely worth checking out. It's cash or debit no credit accepted.

Not a lot of parking outside but probably be fine usually I'd think.
Kid-friendliness
Probably not an obvious kid friendly place though we had our 2 year old with us when we went and it was fine. I believe there was a highchair and a restroom also if needed.

There is no better coffee shop than this! I dare you to come here, enjoy a coffee and danish and disagree :) What an absolute gem of a place. Great people, great food and the atmosphere is fantastic. Please do yourself a favour and make this a top priority on your way through town or as your destination. You will fall in love with this place. We have, and we will be back.

I dropped by because I was looking for CC’s Coroner, but I guess this wasn’t too far off. Their breakfast sandwiches have crinkled pickles on them, which is a pretty bold choice. I got the double double, and it was pretty okay. Timmies, watch out! The owner kept talking to me about juggalos, and I had no idea what he was talking about. I proceeded to ask him what a juggalo was, and he yelled back “well he ain’t a phony!”. And then added something unspeakable about a bowl of macaroni. If you are “down with the clown”, definitely stop by.

CCs is such a unique spot in Richmond. Interesting things to look at wherever you turn, and the food and drinks were spectacular. They accept cash and debit only, and there is no tip option if paying debit so you’ll want to make sure to carry some cash! Staff were wonderful with my and my son, even making his drink a perfect kids temp without having to ask!

Stumbled upon this place while staying in Richmond for a few days. I needed a good coffee fix (not the chain variety). Did a quick google search and found out this place was literally up the street. So glad I found it as I am often in the Richmond area. After reading the reviews I will certainly be back for the treats/breakfast sandwich to give those a try. Thank you for existing!!! You saved my Saturday morning.

This is my favourite coffee shop to go to - we try to go every weekend. It's just outside of Ottawa so it's been giving us something to do (our mini adventure) during this pandemic. The owner and staff are always kind and remember us. The coffee they serve is Little Victories so it's always on point, and they often have something new cooking up, pop-ups and/or collabs with other locals. It's a gem of a spot.

  • Kelly Bolduc-O'Hare

Super fun funky little independent coffee shop. They have some interesting movie memorabilia and just a great vibe all around. Just tucked off the main street (Perth) in Richmond. Friendly staff, amazing coffee and a yummy Richmond Fog. They make their cookies and treats right on site. Daily stop when I'm in town.

Fantastic service, great coffee including locally roasted from Little Victories in Ottawa. Supporting other local independent there’s always special treats on Saturdays, like Suzy Q donuts, and in three seasons (except Winter) Crusty Baker (Kemptville) bread. There’s usually dates squares, carrot cake and tarts and they don't mind smelly runners or cyclists.

  • Jasmine Dubecki

The place is off the side street behind Royals. Fantastic coffee and breakfast sandwich. This is the sort of local place that is a part of the community. Absolutely a gem. I love the snarky decor. It's not as cluttered as the pictures make it look. I will absolutely be back here again and again.

Amazing coffee, very tasty homemade baked goods and always a pleasure to visit. Stepping into the shop you can immediately feel like you’ve entered the perfect dream coffeehouse of the owner. I should also mention that I live in the Center if Ottawa and will drive 30-40 minutes out to Richmond just to visit this coffeehouse. it’s that good.

  • Alaina Burkett

Decided on my first visit this is my favourite place in the Ottawa area. I will gladly drive from Nepean to Richmond to kust sit and stare at the walls. The owners and staff are so friendly and accomodating. They bring in wonderful food from local bakers, and have some seriously mad coffee skills and knowledge. It's just the best.

  • Dionne Roche

I had the best sandwich and cappuccino from this place. The atmosphere is wild--not your average, every day cafe & corner shop. Hand made soaps, local honey, a selection of wines & beers, the most delicious breads, baked good & more. Definitely worth a visit!

You won't be disappointed! This is the best coffee shop Ottawa has to offer. Friendliest service, great atmosphere , tastiest treats and oddities that will definitely grab your attention. Really, the list can go on. Look no further...the greatest caffeine fix is right here! Great job Cameron and staff.

  • Katrina Kassis

Always an amazing coffee, good conversation, and fun curios to see. The old school arcade games and random UFOs are definitely a plus. Cameron is the perfect owner for a shop like this and it shows how much he loves it. Every drink tastes hand crafted and full of love. Thank you for being awesome.

  • Meli Beauchemin

Love CC’s! Huge fans of third wave, delicious coffee… we moved to the area, thinking we’d have to spend our lives surrounded by “dart water”.. enter CC’s and their curation of delicious coffee. And the baked goods?? Unreal! Don’t even get me started on the awesome vibes and even better service.

  • Brett Brooking

Great quirky coffee shop buried in the heart of Richmond. The coffee is really well made and they always have some interesting roasters on the shelf and available for espresso. This is also a store of tasty baked goods and shelves full of curious candies, vinyl and curios. Well worth the visit.

My go to coffee place. Great coffee and espresso beverages. Always a selection of food and snacks from different local businesses like SuzyQ donuts, Little Jo Berrys, The Crusty Baker etc. I also buy local honey there and hand soaps/ shaving supplies.

  • Dewy McFontleroy

Awesome place!! Always something to rest your eyes on. The person at the counter was fun and engaging :) Small menu selection but it doesn't matter cuz it's gooooood.

Best coffee in Ottawa? Perhaps (probably). A destination coffee shop for Ottawans, or a local gem for Richmondians. They also have a finely curated curio collection, oddities, vintage goods and locally crafted products of the highest quality.

  • Robert Bell

This place is in a league of its own....it looks like a Quentin Tarantino fan fest. Awesome decors, cool staff and amazing coffee. You have to pay attention to find it just off the main drag in Richmond but you will be glad you took the time.

  • Meghan Hickey

One of the best cafes I’ve been to in a while! Found this spot on a “top 11 cafes you should visit in the Ottawa area” and we were not disappointed! The staff were super friendly and the service was quick. We got the chilli and some coffees

There are only two places on this planet that I am comfy enough to poop at: 1) my own home 2) CC’s Corner. So there’s that. This place just feels like home - y’know? If I could give it more than five stars I would. But no more than nine.

I dunno what the secret is, but this is the best coffee in Ottawa. I'll go out of my way to come here if I'm anywhere near this end of town. The pickles on the breakfast sandwich ROCK.
