Dear L&D and NICU team, My family will love to give you guys a big thank you for all that you have done! You have given us so much support since July 12 2023 Till now! I had mono mono twins and barely knew about this. They informed me well and gave me more information. All I can say is I'm grateful for the heads up. Even with the loss of my daughter , you guys gave me and my family a wonderful viewing / goodbye! Brittany was the greatest nurse and gave us wonder time with our daughter and helped us through the sadness . She gave me the most beautiful blankets with elephants and a purple crochet blanket. Little did she know they had gotten elephants gifted prior ! I sobbed that day in tears of joy knowing God speaks in little ways unknowing or next path. Ms Gal , the child life specialist, never can thank her enough for the heads up and walk through. Because without that I think it would make the nicu harder. She kept us informed and checked on us periodically. The greatest Grandma on the nicu team to us ! She brought us gifts to remind us how many struggles there were and blessings to come. That team gave me 3 days extra with Jenna! Thank you! My Jemma is so much stronger because of this team. She was born earlier than August 17th and I'm so thankful . Jemma survived and is shining day by day. Even through the hiccups , she kept on pushing as she chose to the day since she was conceived. Jemma will hear the story about Jenna and the team that gave her life! The Kitchen staff, those ladies and gentlemen, keep me nourished! Some of them gave me gifts for my daughters once they arrived! The gift shop had amazing and friendly staff! They put up with me the most ! I called it my mall trip during my stay. What a wonderful one stop shop with trinkets for the guest and residence. The cutest staff and smiling faces here at the Children's Hospital. From my family, THANK YOU!

I can say this my daughter is a 4 months old with RSV and tested here an we waited in emergency waiting room for 8-1/2 hrs to get put in room. It was thanksgiving day an theyre was 9 nurse sitting an conversating while my daughter couldn’t even breathe. One doctor said she was doing good an she still the same weasing a stuffing nose. It came to a point well the nurses don’t even come to our room to check on my daughter. It take them 2 hrs to get back just to bring saline a just when we’re feeding her a bottle another nurse comes in an says we can’t be feeding her like that. Like what do you know, y’all don’t even come in an check on my daughter. This is just a disappointment in San Antonio hospital!!!!! I don’t see how they can real quick judge how we take care of my daughter an they don’t even come in the check…

I came here to do my 2 year old daughters lab work that was ordered by her PCP, and they made us go through the ER and get registered before we could do the blood work. Even though, we already had the blood work orders. We waited in the ER for 2 hours and never got called. They told us there was only 1 registrar in the ER so we had to wait. I decided to leave and take my daughter to QUEST. It’s ridiculous to make a child (who is NOT sick) wait in the waiting room with a room full of sick children for blood work that was already ordered by a PCP. I was trying to avoid quest because it’s my daughters first time doing blood and I wanted it to be done by professionals who work with children. But clearly they don’t have our children’s best interest in mind. I won’t be returning.

Hello I was hoping to find a old nurse who use to at the nicu/special care. I know this is a long shot I'm talking about a long shot. The nurses name was Hilga she worked in the hospital way back in the late 80s and early 90s. I was a premie at the hospital in August through October of 88. My mom has always talked about her. How she was the nicest and loving nurse there when I was there. And that she would take care if me when I was there. I was wondering if anyone had any info of her or her kin. I know its a long shot but I was hoping to find her to tell her thank you and that I have kids. Just a big thank you. You know so if anyone may have any info from her I would love to know it if possible. Thank you

Kelley Williams and Maria-gisela Mercado-deane in The Emergency room misdiagnosed our 4 month old baby for a fracture when actually it was a bone infection that could’ve been deathly to her. If they would’ve taken 2 minutes to look over the blood work they would’ve known right away that it was a terrible infection. We got reported to CPS because of the misdiagnosis and were treated terribly in the ER. We never got an apology from her and her staff. It was the worst 4 days of family’s life and the hospital has don’t nothing to resolve the situation. Will never take our babies there again.

wife had our second baby here Olivia. First all the hospital staff, nurses and doctors were very kind hearted and compassionate. The whole building from the entrance to the L&D rooms as well Mother Baby units were spotless. I'm not just saying this but I actually work at a hospital that lacks the quality and service that was provided here at Santa Rosa. The food from the kitchen is great, it's actually fresh food not processed, with fresh produce. I was so glad my wife had our child here and not anywhere else. Thank you Santa Rosa Christus Downtown.

DONT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE. I brought my son who was having a hard time breathing. They did nothing for an hour but make us wait. No one was in the ER with us and they still took forever for nothing. And when I told them I was leaving because my son needed medical help and we had been waiting for and hour and the nurse responded with "well you came to the er" If you don't want to help others you should not be working here.. Madison was one nurse other one was blonde with short hair and glasses. Worst hospital staff ever.

Once again come for an appointment for my 14 yr old scheduled at 9; get here at 8:45, Cynthia at registration on the second floor takes my name and tells me i have 1 person ahead of me, i watch 3 families go before me and finally at 9:20 ask if I’m gna be late to my appointment because they can’t get me registered. Cynthia forgot about us. She left me standing there and got my daughter registered. Thank you Cynthia for finally doing your job!!! Smh it’s always something at this place.

One of the most clean and beautiful children's hospitals I've ever been to. Staff was very nice and attentive to children. Nice clean spacious rooms, with cable TV, Disney, Netflix, Roku TV, Gaming TV, great place , food for the kiddos was also nice and warm. delicious choices.

We took my grand daughter to the ER at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa this morning. OTHER than the front desk everyone was GREAT. Kayla was her RN & Lisa was her NP. They both were fantastic. The housekeeper that came to clean our room was amazing also. Keep up the good work.
