Five stars is for great service. But sometimes things don't go as planned. When that happens, a business faces a real test. Do they make things right generously and quickly? Or does it devolve into finger-pointing? Coil approved an idea of mine that looked better on paper than when a licensed electrician looked at it (and they were right). But this meant locating a charger in a different place. Then they could not produce the charger I ordered. Then I realized that smart-chargers are not that valuable -- they increase charging from 30 MPH to 36 MPH, which is meaningless for most owners. So several things changed at once. I was not thrilled with the first try, so they sent the team back and got it right. Jaime and Sal are smart and quick and easy to work with. Bobby and Paul made things right. I am delighted with the result and would happily recommend Coil to anyone else putting in a car charger.

We contacted Coil Electric for a multi unit condo EV charger install in SF. The communication with Coil Electric team was absolutely fantastic. After sending over a few photos of our garage, Bobby responded very quickly and walked us through all the necessary steps from the DCC solution for multi condo units, how to talk to HOA for a smooth approval process, and was super patient as we sorted out everything necessary on our end. Followed by a clear itemized quote and kept us up to date with text message updates on the progress with scheduling. On the day of the install, their team sent photos while I was at work to keep me updated. All in all a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend!

got my EV charger installed for my little Rasberry. Took kinda long at the start and once they got to my case (i feel it was 2-3 weeks) everything went smooth, they are quick and efficient, communication was good between me, Coil and the installer, got it all done the day it was supposed to, in spite of the installer's confusion (they came very late). the distance between box and charger were greater so I had to pay extra, but it's not their fault. I'm happy with the install, cables are barely visible, goes nicely in the garage and works well. definitely happy with the end result in spite of all the rest mentioned, i feel they did their best, so we're cool

Fernando and Jaime arrived on time and finished the installation of our Tesla EV charger in about 5 hours. Our electrical box is at the back of the house while the garage is in front which made this a slightly longer installation. They took care to explain what they were doing every step of the way and also made sure to confirm where we wanted the conduit to be run to ensure a clean appearance. After the job was finished, they swept up and cleaned any residual dust and debris. They were mindful of our property as they went in and out of the house, even taking off their shoes when requested. We would highly recommend COIL for an EV charger install.

They provided and placed a Tesla Charger in my garage, after adding voltage to my electrical panel. The two men that came out were wonderful and did an excellent job. The sales people in the office, however, tried to insist that they had to use a universal charger and APP, because "they only sell Coil products". The technician knew likewise and got the product and installed it. I got what I really wanted and saved a lot of money! They adjusted the bill without question or comment. I am now very pleased but the only Stars that I can give are for the technicians!

Works very fast, and they're very attentive to detail. I initially requested a quote for a Tesla Wall Connector installation where they ask for photos of my main breaker, sub breaker if any and location of where I want the Wall Connector installed. They replied back with a reasonable quote that covers the permit and fees associated with it. Jaime Flores, the technician, then came on my scheduled appointment and explained to me what he needed to do. All done great!

I can't tell you how impressed I am with this company. Navigating the chore of finding a contractor in a best case scenario is harrowing but using COIL as the intermediary takes ALL THE WORRY out of it. Dealing with the good folks at COIL was very responsive and they answered all my questions and concerns quickly and honestly. They are partnered with WallBox and I am so happy that I "lucked" into them with my purchase of the Pulsar Plus at Costco.

Coil installed 2 EV chargers in our shared garage. They were very professional through the whole process, from ordering to installation and inspection. The job was tricky because they had to run conduit from the meter closet at the front of the building, through the lobby, and then the entire length of the garage, around various ducts and ceiling features. Everything looks great and passed inspection on the first try.

Came to my house and installed charger and had me pay the $1,800 invoice. Just to let me know that they could not connect the charger to the electric box since he did not have the right breaker. Told me they would send someone else at a later date but never did. It has been 3 weeks now and I’m still using supercharger and having to pay for a charger that in not connected.

The cost was very high but everyone seemed to be charging similar costs. The work was done quickly and efficiently. Inspector came today and none of us knew where to go on the website to get the permit printed so he could sign it. Inspector let me copy a blank one that he filled out and signed. Make sure you have the permit ready.

Very professional company. Very responsive, responding within a day if not hours. Installation was professional and the installer knowledgeably. Installation was very clean. Inspection was easy. I obtain the charger station from Coil and I am glad I did as they knew the right way to do it and no issues with the inspection.

Communication from COIL during the quoting and scheduling phase was excellent (phone, text and email). Electricians showed up early and were very courteous. They explained exactly what was included in the quote and where there could possibly be overcharges before getting to work. The site was left absolutely clean!!

I was fortunate to work with Jaime Flores. On arrival (10 min early, great) Jaime discovered some unforeseen issues and quickly formed a plan to alleviate them.
