This is the most incompetent pharmacy staff I've ever encountered. When I arrived there were 3 cars in line so I decided to go inside, which wasn't any better. Inside the line was 6 people long but I waited patiently considering I needed the prescription ASAP for my sick little one. The tech Deatra obviously had an attitude due to the long line, but each customer kept their patience despite her rude demeanor. Mid way through what turned out to be an 30 minute ordeal she took a personal call, exclaiming loudly how she was so ready to get off of work and couldn't believe she was still there. None of the other techs or even the pharmacist corrected the behavior, as she ranted on and on with a line full of people. Meanwhile, myself and other customers waited for her to finish. The next customer she assisted spoke broken English so the tech, Deatra grew frustrated with the customer and yelled loudly, "Your card doesn't work." Due to the embarrassment the lady walked away with her child and without her prescription. When I finally had the pleasure (or displeasure I should say) of being up next, the same tech informed me loudly that my script wasn't ready yet despite the fact I received an automated call saying that it was. She then stated that I would have to come back. So I waited outside of the store for another 20 minutes before checking on the prescription. When I went up to the counter the gate was closed and the staff shuffled about as if they didn't see me. I said loudly I'm here to pick up my prescription that you told me to come back for and the same rude tech came over and said sorry we're closed. I asked to speak with a manager and they refused to call one, claiming there was only the front counter supervisor on duty. A lady who looked to be the manager, considering she was counting down the registers, quickly shuffled by as if she didn't hear the exchange, when I stopped her to ask if she was a manager she said she couldn't help me and refused to give me her name. After arguing with Ms. Attitude, Detra through the gate she said the only solution would be for me to go to a pharmacy on the Westside of town, which is easily 30 minutes away. I instead transferred my prescriptions to another retailer due to this total lack of customer service. Even the clerk at the front counter said they receive complaints all the time on the tech and pharmacy and CVS does nothing about it. I'm sure my 500,000 YouTube subscribers will love to hear this story and I can't wait for them to make complaints on my behalf as well. Do yourself a favor and avoid this particular store!
I have been a customer for a long time but will not be any longer. 3 times in the past 15 months I have had issues with this pharmacy. 2 times they notified me my prescriptions were ready when in fact they were not. I did not know until driving there and being embarrassed and made to feel like it was my fault even after I called to verify they would, after a delay, be ready. 1 time I was shorted on something simple. I got the run around and was made made to feel like I was lying. I spoke to the pharmacist and the store manager 2 times but received NO apology from either. There was no empathy or apology from the pharmacy even after they had an overage in the med I was shorted in. I have been hung up on several times and today was the straw that broke my connection to cvs! I would rate cvs at a 0 but there is no option for that. There are 2 other pharmacies on the opposite corners and I will use one of those to do my business with. SHAME on you cvs! Just shame on you!
Shopping here feels like a dystopian nightmare. The entire shampoo aisle is locked away, and many other basic aisles as well. If I can't simply put the shampoo in my basket, I'm not going to buy it. Do they really expect us to get ahold of one of the only two employees in the store to and have them follow us around just so that they can unlock every case for us? To top it off, the self-checkout tried to accuse me of theft be because the software didn't see me put it in the bag. The employee checked the footage and everything is fine, but it's getting to the point where I have to scan, point at the can and say "mhmm! Scanned it!" and slowly put it in the bag so that the AI at the self checkout won't throw a fit. Loss prevention is a thing, I get it. But CVS is going off the deep end to make you feel watched and distrusted at every corner. I'm going across the street from now on, where they don't make you feel like a criminal just for shopping there.
Horrible experience in the pharmacy drive-through I pulled up to the window. I called earlier at 12 spoke to a gentleman named Nathan on the phone about my daughter‘s medication. Told me to be ready in 30 minutes I come to the pharmacy speak to an older lady named Holly and the drive-through is completely rude. Told me oh the medication is not ready yet. You can circle around the building. I need help the customer behind you had three medication’s to pick up two of them. We’re ready they wouldn’t let me get the two that were ready and circle around the building for the third one told me I had to go around all again for my three medication. Horrible experience lady was . I had three medication‘s to pick up two of them were ready. They wouldn’t let me get the two that were ready and circle around the building for the third one told me I had to go around all again for my three medication. Horrible experience lady was rude as could be.
Worst pharmacy staff I've ever encourtered. Very unorganized and rude when given suggestions. Suggestions meaning when you're sitting in the drive thru at 830pm for 15 minutes and decide to come in. They have the nerve to yell across the pharmacy that "they can't make anyone do anything and I have no idea what's going on". Unprofessional and to be honest when you have to ask more than twice someone's DOB you might need to look into something else. I've given a lot of grace with them the past 6 months but no change. I do hope they actually read this and change how they treat customers and understand that no matter clinical, restraunt, delivery the customers should be listened to right or wrong. Peace
Female pharmacist would not fill prescribed insulin - she even told my doctor that type and amounts are wrong. This diagnosis was absent any medical information. I have Type I diabetes; use an insulin pump; have safely taken this dose for over 2 years; my doctor takes blood tests every 6 months and routinely downloads my insulin pump data and blood test data. My doctor has a medical degree, performs a thorough exam twice a year, routinely reviews my sugar levels and insulin use; but does not possess as much knowledge as the Pharmacist on University & St. Augustine. I trust my medical professional, not the stranger at CVS Pharmacy.
CVS pharmacist in Sylva NC just called me asking for assistance because this JaxCVS pharmacy staff put her on hold well before closing and never returned. Now it is too late for my mother to get her prescription! Extremely poor pharmacy coverage except for 2 staff members...white male with long hair is excellent. On one visit the white blonde female pharmacist ignored customers and then when the time changed to 6:58 literally pulled the gate down in front of me and said they were closed. There were other customers waiting in front of me as well.
One of the worst pharmacies I have ever seen out of any CVS or drugstore, HANDS DOWN. The staff is not helpful nor friendly. I have had them claim they cannot help me and I’ve had to call another CVS to help instead. I have also had to solve prescription request problems myself that I’ve been told they should have corrected on their (CVS) end. Store is also in serious need of an update or a refresh. I’m not even sure the theft detectors on the doors actually work. They’re just constantly making a beeping sound.
This store has to be the only CVS in the country that hasn't received the recent facelift to the inside of the store. This store ALWAYS has a foul smell, the outside is filthy, the garbage bin is always overflowing.. Panhandlers and dirty sketchy people loitering EVERY damn day. This store is used and abused in every sense. After today, i had to leave a review. The cashier was clipping her freaking fingernails at the register as i walked up.. ARE YOU SERIOUS!? Get it together CVS. This store needs attention.
My mother has to use a CVS for her pharmacy needs, due to insurance restrictions, this evening I went to hand her a migrane pill and noticed she had THREE of the NINE pills total mixed in that DIDN'T match. I was worried, so I looked it up, they are antibiotics! Basically they can't even count NINE, just NINE pills of the same and correct perscription. WHAT THE HECK IS THE POINT OF BEING A PHARMACY if you can't give the correct medication. This is a danger us all. BEWARE for your safety.
I called to get a price and availability for a prescription and when i was trying to discuss this wiht the pharmacist ( or whoever was taking call in pharmacy) she said that she needed to see the script- too hard to take info over the phone. When i said u would call someone else she said ok. It amazes me ther CVSis in business- i guess when you have store on every street corner, you will get some traffic but how so they get repeat business ? Dave Schelldorf
Very disappointed at the quality of care provided at this location during this pandemic. Visited the store on April 11th to pick up a prescription and also purchase a few items. Pharmacy would only ring up the script. As there was no cashier there were 4 shoppers waiting to use self serve. No hand sanitizer, no q tips to push buttons. Very unsanitary process. I expect more and usually find it from your locations. Will not visit this one again.
The female pharmacist is a nightmare. She hung up on my husband when he was trying to explain when the prescription had been sent to CVS by our doctor. Literally hung up. And another pharmacist who helped the next day said the prescription had been there all along and had already been prepared for pick up. I've experienced instances of bad service in the past, but this honestly takes the cake.
I made an appointment for the kids to get flu shots online. While the website requires that each patient's age be provided, CVS didn't have the courtesy to add a notice that this location cannot administer the flu shot to minors. Wasted an hour of my time trying to get a walk-in for what should have been an in&out appointment. (CVS MinuteClinic locations do offer flu shots for minors)
I’m used to the ones in St Augustine. It’s incredibly frustrating when every aisle is locked away. You basically need a worker just standing next to you the whole time. Worst part is when I got in there I’ve only ever seen one worker. It’s only self check out because he’s having to run around unlocking everything.
Unprofessional, never have medicine in stock and lost my son's prescription. No one in the pharmacy dept seems to know what they're doing. If you are shopping in the store they have the slowest people working there also. Terrible store that needs to revamp interior and staff
Good luck trying to find anyone to help you in store. No one at the cash registers and it was hard finding help. No one knew where the item was after chasing several employees down. Wasted trip.
I absolutely hate coming here to get my prescriptions yeh people are SO rude and NOW they gave me the wrong medication! And who opens at 9am you are a pharmacy, open at 7 or earlier!
The pharmacy crew was amazing. They were all so friendly, organized, welcoming and patient. Thank you! Your smiling faces and genuine care made my experience beyond expectation.
Me encanta este lugar por la calidad de sus productos. Por el precio de los mismos por la atencion amable y generosa de todos sus empleados.
Been going to this pharmacy for 7+ years no complaints the staff is knowledgeable and helpful and kind... always willing to help . …
Too many rude pharmacy staff. They ignore you if you are not a regular and treat the people they Know like VIP RIGHT IN YOUR FACE!!!!!
Great store. The most helpful pharmacy staff there is. They always do their best to get you in and out and help with any issues.
All I wanted to do was schedule a covid-19 test. Web site gives you the run around phone calls hang up on you. Waste of time.
It's alright wasn't able to find what I was looking for and I couldn't send money because there machine was down
No longer 24 hr store. NO WONDER- lousy Cust Service. Stank face fr employees, no matter what you purchase.

Over 20 minutes waiting in the drive thru to pick a prescription. Way too slow.
