I cannot speak for all CVS stores, but the two locations close to me (Fouraker Rd & Normandy Blvd and the Lane Ave & Normandy Blvd stores) are horrible. The service is almost nonexistent. The pharmacy staff is even worse than the general store staff. My experience has been the staff are very rude and make you feel like you're an inconvenience. So rude in fact, I transferred my prescriptions to Walgreens, until I was forced to use CVS for a specific medication. Recently, I was returning an item, for which I paid cash and had my receipt and the items were unused/unopened. In my opinion, it shouldn't matter the reason if the item hasn't been opened and certainly not any business of the cashier to keep pushing for a reason. I was openly accused of "being up to something shady" and the clerk made an assumption that we must be struggling financially, and I shouldn't be buying anything! Are you kidding me!!? I was well within my rights to make the return, and all policies and guidelines were met. That employee was so far out of line and disrespectful and actually told me not to return anything ever again! Excuse me? That same employee now harasses me when I shop there. She literally follows me around the entire store, which is absolutely unacceptable. I have never stolen anything from that store or tried to steal anything from that store, and if this continues, I will not set foot in that store ever again and will be sure to let everyone I know about my experience. We all know word of mouth can play a huge role in making or breaking a business. Not to mention it's just wrong to treat a PAYING customer that way. The Fouraker @ Normandy Blvd store is a newer location, however the selection on most items is limited. Unless I just have reward bucks or a coupon, I go straight to Walgreens to look for the item to purchase. I'm only being honest here. I hope that you can take something from my comments and make these stores a more enjoyable and productive shopping experience for everyone. I did want to add, when rating the satisfaction with my experience, that is for this receipt transaction only. We were buying holiday cards/gift cards for Christmas and the cashier that helped us on this day was very polite and professional. One last thing, with my receipt I received a $5 reward bucks. I was very excited to see this until I saw the expiration date which was 12/23/2022 - HOWEVER my purchase was made on 12/24/2022 the day AFTER it expired???!!! Can you please explain that one???
They had a great, well organized pharmacist a few years ago, now they're on their 2-3rd replacement for her and they fall far short of filling her shoes. They're unorganized, inefficient, unprofessional, and on more than one occasion proved that they either can't count or are horrible at record keeping (pill shortages). 07JUN22 UPDATE: Waited a week for delivery that never came, called the Pharmacy this past Saturday and found out they had never been mailed. Told them I would come by and pick them up either that day or the next, and while calmly voicing my displeasure with the customer service, they hung up on me. When I was able to get to the window on Sunday, they told me all but one of my prescriptions had been mailed... Of the 3 mailed, two arrived yesterday, still waiting for the 3rd. I switched pharmacies yesterday, and will no longer be using them once this issue is resolved. I'm sure my little drop in the bucket will go unnoticed, but since I'm one of those old guys with diabetes, between my 3 types of insulin and various accompanying medications, it's probably about $2500-$3000 a month. 08JUN22 UPDATE: Called the store about my 3rd prescription, they said it was too soon to refill. I asked how that was possible since it was a new prescription. "Our mistake, we'll get that ready for you today". The CVS Dashboard says it was filled on 02JUN22, how is it filled, not yet filled, and too soon to refill all at the same time? Apparently they get to make up answers to your questions as they go along.
I have been using this pharmacy on fouraker road for 8 years , i have three children who get their prescriptions there as well. I have never encountered an issue until a guy named Andrew covers the head pharmacist when she is out. I had to start pain management after my car accident and per my neurologist’s instructions/ referral . I have never been on pain medication in my life and now I just started due to my life time injuries from the accident , i have only had one prescription from a few months ago was time to refill it after my second visit with the doctor he automatically accused me of “ drug seeking “ again I have never even met this guy face to face just rude on the phone for no reason at all ,. Miasha who is super nice and respectful/ professional apologized for his behavior and accusations and told me there won’t be a problem next time I just need to use a different doctor because the one I was going to was not writing the prescriptions out properly. Which I did and she was not working yesterday and Andrew denied it again claiming I am drug seeking . I have never been aggressive I am just following my doctors orders by coming to get my prescription that was prescribed to me , I don’t appreciate Andrew stereotyping me when he has no right to . I put a complaint in HR and I will also be looking into a legal advisor if this does not get solved or without an apology from him directly. My husband has his statement he said in front of the public about me on recording as well.
I love CVS and I have been a long term rewards member. But recently I had a experience at this specific CVS that was so unbelievable. I shop here normally on a weekly basis, but a week ago the associate Debby followed me and my daughter around the store even when other customers were requesting her assistance. When she was forced to check out customers she called for someone to come to the isle we were were on over the intercom. After no one came she continued to follow us. When I asked her to stop invading our personal space because of COVID 19. She told me I was stealing and that’s why I was bothered by her following us. Once I showed her I didn’t steal anything she demanded we put all our products back and leave the store because she had the right to not check us out. As we left the store she video taped me with her cell phone and threatened to take a picture of my tag. I contacted corporate but nothing was done. So please be careful when attending this location because at this point she still works here and the corporation seems to not be bothered by the way she is treating customers. I’m a very embarrassed and disappointed customer at this point
I would give 0 stars if I could. This is the laziest of the cvs pharmacies I have ever been to. Everytime I have to deal with them, they are so rude and they really just want to tell you any excuse not to do their job. My daughter just got out the hospital and I went straight to the pharmacy to get her prescription. There was no one there. It was not busy. I went through the drive thru and the pharmacy technician was so rude, he says the pharmacist was busy giving covid test, which was irrelevant information. That was his excuse as not to be of any assistance to anyone.i called And the hospital says it was sent electronically and should show up in all cvs systems. He says they lied and he can't check the voice-mail without the password which only the pharmacy has. It sounds like the run around every time. My daughter couldn't get her medicine from cvs 3 times i tried. I think this needs a pharmacy district manager to investigate the problem and find out why no one can use this cvs due to the problems with this store. I will use allwell pharmacy from now on. They are very nice Anna do not mind doing their job.
The (Fouraker Rd & Normandy Blvd) is by far the worst CVS I every laid foot in. The service is Always awful Rude and The pharmacy staff is even worse than the general store staff. My worst experience happened Today on 3/4/23 around 6:20 I went to purchase a single pack of baby wipes and noticed it wasn’t the typical type I needed so I went and gotten a different kind so I kindly ask an LARGE HEAVY WEIGHT lighter complexion Blk female for her services to take off the previous item I wanted her to void off she began to walk over while seems to be on a personal phone call!!!!!! currently still on the phone after she took the item off she grab the wipes from where we was standing and chunked them across the counter like a gorilla having a food challenge throwing bananas!!!! it took everything in me to not get in a confrontational dispute with that “THING” I don’t KNOW!! like she was very unprofessional and un appropriate as rude as the staff are it will make you feel like you're an inconvenience.
I am beyond pleased with the service I always get at Cvs store and pharmacy. But today was beyond my expectations my daughter has high anxiety and we went in for her booster shot. She was already starting to panick, cry and shut down. The pharmacist Abigail Jarvis was EXTREMELY patient and understanding and took her time and told my daughter to just breath and even walked her around an isle to calm her down and told her when she was ready she could sit in the chair. I have never experienced service like that not even at a doctors office. I'm so use to someone telling me they can't do the shot to come. Abigail did not give up on her and stood by her side the whole time. Mind you they were short staffed and Abigail went in to work to make sure everyone was able to get there meds and vaccinations as it's very important to her. I truly feel it was meant for her to be there today. THANK YOU, you truly don't know how your compassion, patience and understanding touched my heart!
Horrible service at the drive thru pharmacy & Mainly the front today !!! I had to pick up a Covid test for other people. The pharmacy told me in drive thru, that l had to come in to pick up the covid test. So l went to the pharmacy 1st, then they sent me up front to pick it up!! I go up front, no one was around! Finally, Front cashier women walks up was VERY RUDE, Short-tempered & acted like l was a bother to her! She told me, (everything's online & that my family member had to "call in" to even "request a covid test!") I walk out, called family member, THEY (who are sick) had to call the store JUST to Requested a test for me to pick up for them!! By this time, I was cringing over the fact that l Really Didn't Want To Go Back Into That Store because l had to face the women cashier with her rude attitude again !! Avoid this location!! Terrible service & not a helpful Attitude at all !!
I scheduled a COVID booster online and received confirmation via email. When I arrived at the store's pharmacy they told me to log in using the app. There was nothing in the app for me to acknowledge my appointment nor did I receive a text message. I told them that I'd made it online on my pc but they didn't care. The lady in charge of the pharmacy said she had to help other people and would not acknowledge that I was at the store for my appointment ahead of time. Needless to say I did not get my shot and the store manager was as useful as a knot on a log. This store is the worst for services, even worse than the Walgreen's across the street from them and that store is horrible. If I could give this CVS -1000 stars I would.
The manager here needs training on customer service etiquette. Horrible attitude. I maybe go in a CVS once a year. Was only recommended to go this time because of a sale. Didn’t find anything that interested me. Crazy that the prices are what they are and they still treat customers the way they do and the MANAGER of all people. Very wild. I wouldn’t be surprised if the pharmacy is the only thing that keeps this business alive. I love the CVS’s up north but I don’t see the point of them down here other than the pharmacy.
If I could give 0 stars I would. The thing that irritates me the most is when someone who lies because they don't want to be at fault. Not only did they messed up my prescription label by sending it to the WRONG city?! Not to mention they can't admit that they were the ones who printed the label to shipped out. It's not the post office fault... Apparently no one has common sense there and are rude to their customers. If I were you I would go to a different pharmacy if you can.
Worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. Prescriptions I get every month aren’t there, you call to speak with someone and you will be on the phone for hours on hold and then they will hang up on you. Everyone who does finally answer has the worst attitude. When you go into the store to pick up the Rx, you can hear the phone ring none stop while everyone ignores it and refuses to answer. They can’t answer hardly any of the questions you actually do have for them. Absolute worst
This pharmacy and the one on Normandy & Fouraker are the worse pharmacies EVER and they never answer their phones. If they do they act like they can’t hear you and hang up on you. My son is autistic and epileptic …Between both pharmacies it has taken all day to fill one simple, regularly filled RX and I had to call corporate TWICE just to get it done. Place is a joke. They are lucky I gave one star and that’s only because that’s the lowest option available
TOTAL FRUSTRATION. If you don’t mind being frustrated to the max, then come here. For your own good, find another pharmacy. These people will drive you nuts with their unprofessional behavior. Just look at their ratings. Also they ARE NOT BBB ACCREDITED, yea go figure! Pharmacists here will hung up in you and lie just tell you what you want to hear (such as ‘yes we have that medication available’ when they don’t really have it).
Dont call trying to speak to a pharmacist, they immediatly say hold please, put you on hold and after about 30 minutes drop your call. I can barely walk and I have to go up there to find out anything about my precription. Its been a week since my doctor prescribed but CVS has yet to fill it. And still cant tell me whats going on. Oh well, guess ill grab my cane and drive back up there and see if anyone has a clue yet.
Prescriptions are NEVER ready when promised. When I asked, I was told it all depends….. I don’t live 5 minutes away from the store, more like 25 minutes so when I do come in expecting my prescriptions, I schedule it around other errands to the area. It’s such an inconvenience when it’s not ready. I don’t think good customer service is in their vocabulary, nor is empathy.
The pharmacy, on Fouracre & Normandy is awful. I waited on hold for 20 min then as soon as someone answered they hung up. Called again, waited another 20 min for someone to answer. When they finally answered they were so hateful and rude. I’ll go without before using them for anything. My husband has a long list of prescriptions there, so we will change asap.
If you could have more over the counter items that's covered by that and especially well they call it body flush when you flush out and clean your system of deoxetation dioxide, covered under the OTC would be nice, plus seeing on line what products are covered under the OTC benifit with pricing / avail ability
Went there about 3 months ago. My kid was super sick. Long line to get to see someone in the pharmacy. I was helped out by this amazing woman named Pat. You could tell that she had hearing issues. But she did everything she could to help me get the medicine my son needed. Thank you Pat. Keep being amazing.
Pharmacy staff are extremely rude and unhelpful sending me back through the line 4 times getting my prescriptions. “Don’t do your voice that way.” isn’t something an educated person would say to a customer. I will go out of my way to avoid this location moving forward.
HIRE MORE PEOPLE IN THE PHARMACY! Not only are they VERY rude up here, they are extremely slow and short handed. This is nothing new. Needs NEW management! Needs a NEW team, one with a go getter and positive attitude! The employees here have ZERO drive and care.
I brought my prescriptions here and they did a terrible job. They weren’t ready when they said they would be and they lost a prescription in the process. They were rude and as unprofessional as I have ever encountered! Never never again! Heading back to Costco
I always get the best service. Today, Trina went out of her way to help me manage the costs and receive my medications. She was so friendly and her smile was sincere. Trina is the reason I love CVS so much and wanted to share my story. Thanks!! ❤️
My medicine was suppose to be ready 3 weeks ago! Everytime I go In there they tell me the system was down so they have to remake it or it will be ready the next day ! I transfer my prescriptions because I still haven’t received them till this day!
This is literally the worst pharmacy that I've ever been to from service to preparation and to talking to the supervisor. It was simply easier and less time to cancel the script and send it to another pharmacy
the pharmacist was so rude over the phone and acted like I was a bother to help. Plus I was on hold over 15 minutes with each call and I had to call multiple times since I was given wrong information
Pharmacy drive thru lady is awful waited 20 mins and she closed the drive through when we were the only car their near coming back hope she's chokes on her lunch. Absolute horeshit.
Deb is the best!!!! She goes out of her way to make the experience great. Walked me and my son to my car during a rain storm, always smiling, always willing to help. THANK YOU!!
I've been going there four years. Always clean and friendly feelings. They're so busy in the pharmacy. I try to be nice to them. You all a great. Thank for being there for me.
I wish I could give 0 stars. Clearly they went out of their way to find by far the rudest, most unprofessional people to work in their pharmacy. Truly disgusting.
Best pharmacy in the world if you have a year to wait for a prescription. I wouldn't recommend this pharmacy to my worst enemy. They're severely understaffed.
I’ve called them 3 times and each time I’ve been on hold for 5+ min just for them to hang up on me while I’m still on hold.
CVS has nothing to improve in my opinion. The CVS @Fouraker was great & helped me when/if i need it. Thank you
As fast as they could possibly be and as friendly as can be. The only pharmacy I use. …
Tracy in pharmacy repeatedly hung up the phone on me and was rude for no reason. Unacceptable.
This is a drugstore on a popular street. I have had the experience that I was expecting.
no one answers the pharmacy phone and when you finally get someone they hang up on you
Why are people being turn away for a vaccine, even after call and wait.
Every thing is good for store but a big line for medicine pick up.
Total Incompetence. Never been here when there wasn’t a problem.
Customer service is horrible in the pharmacy
Keep you on hold then hang up
The pharmacist is very rude.
Nice and well stocked.
Great
