I went to CVS on 06/04/18 and my experience was wonderful! I originally just went in to get a couple money orders, however, the cashier named Destahnie had such excellent customer service, that I ended up hanging out the front area chatting with her, while she helped me pick out different .99 cent earrings out of the bin up front. From the very start, the moment I walked through the CVS doors, Destahnie greeted me with a genuine smile, & asked how I was doing & if I needed any assistance. She complimented my drivers license photo (since money orders require identification) and next thing you know, we’re both talking about our cats and how the big bin of .99 cent earrings and bracelets & other cute pieces makes great accessories for anyone. She told me she picked out a cute diamond bracelet that she loves, and I asked Destahnie to help me decide between which earrings to buy, (with her help, I bought several- about 4 or 5 pairs), and I just had a really lovey experience in my local CVS, because the employees always treat you like you’re family, not just a “customer”. Destahnie’s wonderful, positive attitude and happy demeanor matched with excellent, professional customer service makes me want to continue to come to this CVS for any of my local needs. Thanks so much!
I had to give it a star or it would not post review --- I am one that does not like to give any yuck-o words !! Have tried this location 3 times * ALL * times the worst Customer Service from 98.9% of their Staff --- There was a young boy ( man ). He had tried really hard - He said he had just started there & this was his 2nd day. The other 2 ladies were really the ruddiest people EVER. 2nd trip On my next 2 trips there is a new Pharmacist this time & the other 2 ladies were also rude - & no the young man there sad - He had tried really hard & was pleasant Shame... Now 3rd trip WILL NEVER Come back RUDE RUDE I understand when busy - But really this is their Businesses Customers are your Home - Car - Payments & your Childs Collage REALLY !!! Will never go back --- what is so strange --- 1 Pharmacist was there twice other than that all others were different people each time ? How could they find the only rude people in Jax. FL /// Plus I came in @ different times each time --- Very Happy w/the other CVS - so happy they are nice. Was worried that may had been a requirement to be a CVS employee in the Pharmacy.
I swear this pharmacy is becoming the worst I've dealt with. The foreign male pharmacist is extremely rude and has made aplenty mistakes since his time being there. He's attempted to give me someone else's medications a couple weeks back then become upset if you correct him. Sir, I know my name and you're breaking HIPPA laws of patient confidentiality. Had I taken someone else medicine then that's a huge lawsuit on CVS. End the call correctly, not try to hang up the phone because you're in a rush. BTW, you're not as discreet as you think when whispering to the other pharmacist about patients. How rude and unprofessional. I understand that CVS is cutting back hours / stuff but please don't take it out on the customer especially if they didn't say or do anything to warrant this defiant behavior. DO BETTER CVS !!!
Just got turned away from my scheduled COVID testing because "all of their COVID tests are expired." I was told this after going through the online system, getting a confirmation CODE, a confirmation about an hour before the appointment, seeing the hold in my HSA, and waiting 10min in the drive-thru. What a ridiculous failing by a corporation that made $136.402B in gross profit for the twelve months ending September 30, 2023, a 10.28% increase year-over-year. Communicate with your web squad to take that location off of the booking system. I feel bad for the window attendant having to say something so dumb. I never knew this could be a possibility, so learn from my mistake I guess, call ahead to make sure their inventory isn't expired.
At 1:50 PM my mother and I stood behind two woman chatting away who we thought were customers waiting for the cashiers that where nowhere in sight, it wasn't until a couple of minutes later that we realized they WERE the cashiers and didn't seem to acknowledge us until a line started to form.I was then "helped" by Nichole who seemed 'too busy' to be bothered helping the customer and all but threw my bag and reipt at me before dismissing us to deal with the next customer. If answering a simple question is too much for CVS workers and this is what their customer service represents, than CVS may want to look into vetting their employees better. My mother and I left disgusted and I never left a CVS that way before.
First what kind of pharmacy doesn't have ginger ale? Seriously? Ginger ale should always be in stock seeing as it's a go-to staple for upset stomachs. (Pharmacy =sick people) Second there are only 5 carts here. Of course there is no such thing as cart maintenance. Loud squeaky and shook my 10 month old like she was sitting on a washing machine. I live next door and have to use CVS due to my insurance. I come here regularly and have yet to have one smooth experience here. CVS you need to step your game up. You are seriously the bottom rung of the industry here at this particular CVS. Employees are always nice hence they are the ones whom have earned you that single star otherwise you don't even deserve that.
***Edit---So, I've always loved CVS, especially over Walgreens. But, I went today to pick up prescription and the pharmacy was already closed. Totally aggravating, but I get it in these times with all the crazies. Then I run in the bathroom, disgusting...in a pharmacy, the toilet won't flush, and no water in two sinks. I go to the front to to complain because the people in the pharmacy act like they can't see me. When I get to the front no one is around, finally a polite young lady with nice manners ask if I need help, but I'm @$$whipped and give up. I say no thank you and leave. Why bother? Very friendly staff and pretty fast drive thru.
Rudest pharmacist I've ever dealt with. I've been on disability since 2002 and just recently moved to this area. The meds that I've been taking for 9 years now, and just left a new pain management doctor, now all of a sudden this female pharmacist says I shouldn't be taking the meds that now my 4th doctor has prescribed. Tells me she won't fill the prescriptions until she talks to the doctor and indicates it will be tomorrow. I told her to call him right now and guess what, she doesn't even acknowledge I'm still at the counter and tells the evening shift person to go ahead and fill it she just talked to him and he knows I'm taking them.
PHARMACY DOESNT ACCEPT PHONE PAYMENTS!! i'm trying to pay for my retired mother's prescriptions from NJ and they wont accept $14.00 over the phone. Not ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY DOLLARS... JUST FOURTEEN DOLLARS! This could be life and death and the pharmacy clerk tells me she is worried about FRAUD. $14.00!!! I offered to fax a copy of the card and my license but that wasnt good enough. OBVIOUSLY I WOULD BE MORE AT RISK FOR FRAUD than them by doing this. Your customer service sucks! Sometimes old people run out of money and sometimes their relative out of state need to get them URGENT prescriptions. Good job on sucking CVS!
This place is a joke. Anyone that actually pays for anything here is being stolen from. My wife and I came by to get some medicine at like 9:30PM, saw some guy stuffing his backpack, ran to the front and told the guy "KRAR" at the front who said it wasn't his job to stop him. Told him to call the cops, he refused because by the time the cops came the guy would be gone. Seemed he was more concerned about going home than the theft. Word of advice, if you want to steal from here, come at like 20 minutes before closing and take what you want. The store wont call the cops and you can just take what you want.
Abigail Jarvis (pharmacist) at this location today she finally remembered the password to the computer so she could fill my prescription then she decided that she didn’t want to fill my prescription because of the type of medication she really went out of her way to be the worse employee encounter I have ever been a part of. CVS is going to loose much of their customers because Abigail Jarvis hates her job and by her actions not only to me but to other customers inside and in the drive thru. I will be contacting my doctor to move all my medications to Walgreens
Worst pharmacy ever. My prescription was sent in Wednesday’s and here it is Friday and I am sitting in the drivethru for 40 minutes to be told they still haven’t filled it and to come back in an hour. Why does it take three days to fill a prescription when last night you told me it wasn’t ready and to come back in 45 minutes. Not to mention each month my daughters dr sends a consent form with the prescription and each time it takes me 3-6 visits to get her prescription due to them never having the form or the medication yet again not being ready. Step it up!!!
I called in my prescription at 11am they advise it will be ready by 3pm. Got off work at 6pm only to wait 30 mins at the drive thru window to tell me that I have to wait another 30 mins for my meds to be ready. This pharmacy is ALWAYS short staffed. If I can give it a negative star I would. The Pharmacist on staff this day (1/9/23) didn’t seem to know anything kept asking the tech questions while there’s a line inside & outside growing longer & longer.
I have no clue what is going on with this cvs pharmacy. This on is closest to my house and they are falling apart. The people are nice but to get someone on the phone is a joke. When they answer the phone, it is like they have no clue how to work nor answer it. I am on hold now and it has been an hour and I have been hung up on once. How can you get your meds filled when you can't get someone on the phone? I have to call or go in to get my meds filled.
This is the WORST cvs I have ever been to. I sat in line for 30 minutes waiting for my turn. Then wait 15 minutes for my medicine that was suppose to be ready for pick up. While I was on the way to work. The drive thru line was rapped around the building. It takes two seconds to give someone their prescription if it’s not ready then they need to come inside and wait for their medicine not hold up the whole line
No idea what’s going on at the pharmacy here. I’ll be charitable and chalk it up to them being short staffed. They said my prescription would be ready the next day because they had to get it delivered, so next day afternoon I ask them if it’s ready, and they said it would be ready after 5:00 and they’ll send a message. I get a message at 7 saying it’s ready. Great, except the pharmacy closes at 7.
The Pharmacy is either under staffed or behind. The wait times for prescriptions or service at the pharmacy is ridiculous. This pharmacy is way to busy for 1 person to ring up all customers and service everyone. This company should care more about staffing instead of over working the employees in the pharmacy. I’ve been coming to this pharmacy for over 5 years and have noticed the decline.
Abigail Jarvis the cvs pharmacist she is awesome very respectful, caring outgoing person She’s all-around a hard worker and an awesome person. She went above and beyond to help me when my doctors office gave me a hard time and then my insurance company gave me a hard time. also, she stepped up and she help me. The cvs pharmacy at 9100 Atlantic Blvd
Samira was my cashier! She is very kind, helpful & professional. I asked her several times where various items were and she helped me find everything I needed! This is a great CVS location and deserves a much higher rating. Bathrooms are very clean Please give Samira a raise! Especially in this economy, caring employees are hard to come by. :)
Incompetent!!!!! I've been trying to fill a prescription for a solid week! They lost it once and when it was resent they claimed the DEA number was wrong. Lies and incompetence!!!! After this month I'll never set foot in another CVS. I'd pay twice as much elsewhere. I shouldn't have to go without medication due to some idiots incompetency
I was having a difficult time getting my prescriptions filled at Walmart. Their customer service was horrible! So I tried CVS. I was helped by Laura and Keely. They were kind, efficient and I had my prescriptions in no time! Thank you for making that process easier! You have no idea how much your kindness helped.
Pharmacist is racist and let a man clearly skip 3 women that had been waiting for over 10 minutes. She refused to see us in the correct order after we complained to the m both and just allowed him to skip everyone. Never coming here again! No longer trust the pharmacist!!!
Stated what I needed, was put on hold and transferred to the pharmacist. She was very pleasant and helpful. Assisted me in my request for my second shingles injection. Made an appointment for 9AM Thursday morning. She also told me how much it would cost.
Covid vaccine appointment was easy to set up. Came to get the shot and everything was well organized and staff were very nice. Never thought I would say something like this was a pleasant experience but it was. Way to go!!!!! Highly recommended!
5 year customer who could save $ by using mail order but appreciate the assistance of the pharmacist and staff as well as incredible customer service. Always fantastic deals and reduced prices on some things that if I need purchase.
Cashier are professional & nice but pharmacy it is a disaster, unprofessional , long waiting time with no body more there . Please don't use this pharmacy.( only the Indian lady it's nice maybe forget call you but 98 % she is nice)
Samira PROFESSIONAL KIND has help me several times she was so sweet kind careing I seen her deal with harsh customers she remains professional calm firm under pressure KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS HARD WORK
Fast drive through service for any medication needs: OTC or Prescription. The service was friendly but due to Breaking Bad cookers, I have to wait an extra day for much needed allergy medication. Sheesh! Lol...
Great facility. Clean, organized and friendly. The employees always greet and ask if you need something; very helpful. Store is always in stock of what you need and every visit is a pleasant experience.
Pharmacy staff very kind and helpful UPDATE:2021 snotty teen boy in pharmacy is very rude and has bad attitude , barely does his job and what he does it's done with an attitude
Pharmacist was extremely rude to me. Eventhough, I told them I was sick and fever and just left emergency room. She said I was taking up another person's time.
Nice people and helpful staff. The pharmacy closes earlier than the store so, keep that in mind. A little over priced but, at least it's not family dollar.
Make sure you check your dates when buying beverages! I almost bought a mountain dew that expired in April and another in June! It's almost December!!!!!
Inside is clean with lots of items on sale. Friendly people at pharmacy. Left one star off because outside parking lot was littered with trash.
Multiple times they have told me my medication will be ready in 1 hour. I came back the next day and my medication still wasn't ready.
Best pharmacy ever!!! Costumers service is excellent, Pharmacy technician is so nice i had my prescription ready in no time .I
Friendly cashiers but the place is over priced. Sometimes they are out of inventory and some food items are expired.
A little too condescending and an unspoken "only white people" type environment. Just being honest..
Zero help from this pharmacy. Will never go back. Do yourself a favor and don't use this location
Never had any issues with them, great service by Demetry the pharmacist.
Usually well stocked, excellent customer service, clean and well lit
Wow the worst servise ever!?!? Never go back to cvs on Atlantic blvd
Muy cerca de mi casa y fácil y rápido para adquirir lo que necesito
I would appreciate if CVS closes their Pharmacy at a later time.
Love this pharmacy and staff , always friendly and helpful !
Clean, nice and they keep their shelves stocked.
Dangerous to get in and out of the parking lot.
Usually have everything I'm looking for.
The photo printer was down
Close, clean, nice staff.
Rude store manager
The best ever !
