This review is for the Executives at CVS. Firstly I must compliment you on your wonderful employees! They take their life in their hands when coming to work in your stores in having to contend with the blatant shoplifting in your west village, NYC locations that lack a security guard and or police presence. I have witnessed this unapologetic theft consistently now for years! I am very aware that when people steal your merchandise prices go up in order to cover for this loss and I as a paying customer am paying for this belligerent stealing with no consequences! Here is an idea and a worthy cause for CVS to save your business, protect your wonder employees and make the community safer. Implore the politicians to effect stringent laws with serious consequences to deter these thieves, empower the police to do their jobs in keeping us safe and in turn thrive as a business with a safe shopping experience and paying customers! Thank you in hopes you resolve this festering problem which potentially can threaten the survival of your fine establishment. Your caring and concerned patron.
One of the main issues I encountered was a lack of clear signage and organization within the store. I found myself wandering around the aisles, trying to locate specific items without much luck. It would be helpful if CVS could improve the layout of their stores and make it easier for customers to find what they are looking for. Another issue I experienced was with the checkout process. The line was quite long, and there were only a few cashiers working at the time. It took me a long time to check out, which was frustrating as I was in a hurry. It would be great if CVS could hire more staff or improve their checkout process to make it faster and more efficient. Overall, my experience at CVS could have been much better. If CVS could improve their store layout and checkout process, it would make for a much more pleasant shopping experience. I hope that CVS takes customer feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes to improve the experience for all of their customers.
I’ve lived in New York City for 12 years and something you understand once you’re a New Yorker for a while is that pharmacies are just a nightmare. In my experience they are faceless and nameless places where there are so many customers that anyone working there can’t afford to get to know your name or face, much less be kind because of the sheer quantity of people they are serving. Not the 75 Christopher St CVS. I’ve been coming here for over a year and now I get to look forward to saying hi to my favorite people in the neighborhood. There are two people working on the pharmacy register and every time I have the privilege of picking up a prescription they are there to greet me. They are kind and thoughtful, extremely fast, and honestly just a joy to talk to. Thank you, CVS, for making the west village a better place. That’s a sentence I never thought I would type.
The women on the photo was closing pharmacy before 1:30 for lunch break. I was waiting before 1:30 to buy medication but nobody was there. After my “ hello” the pharmacy was automatically closing window. I had to wait until 2 pm , when there were opening again. Like I said before lunch break supposed to be between 1:30-2 pm and I was there before 1:30. Horrible stuff at this pharmacy, not kind, rude. Not recommended.
Management needs real work. On February 8, 2023 employees were complaining out loud during the hiring event. I don't blame them. It was completely inappropriate and unprofessional for the set up they have done. Manager Fatemh was eating a chocolate bar and taking candidates one by one wasting people time. Unacceptable. This CVS can use all the help it can get for customer service.
I chose 2 stars because some employees (particularly those who work in the pharmacy area) are friendly. But today made me wonder why somewhat unfriendly people seek/or accept customer service jobs. If you want to walk around with a somewhat unfriendly, downward demeanor then choose a job that does not include direct contact with the public.
Doris is amazing! she took care of my request in a timely manner and was super knowledgable. She has a great demeanor and helped me with a patient needing COVID therapy- a nearby CVS I had called before her was clueless and had no Idea how to handle my request. Thank you DORIS! - Fareed- AIDS Heatlhcare Foundation Clinic
If I could rate this trash hole -5 I would. Everything is locked up. They get mad when you ask for help. This trash place had me wait 10 minutes for laundry detergent. Then proceeded to tell me after waiting that long that they’re not doing cash back. Put up a friggin sign. Please just go out of business.
The hours of operation are clearly marked on the door as closing at midnight. It is 11:15pm and the doors are locked. The employees are laughing inside, making fun of the fact that multiple people are outside and upset that they are closed.
CVS: Everyone's heard of CVS. Some good some not so good. But I believe that they should be quicker in re-stocking products. Some products go months and then stop. And their CVS brands.
