My physician had prescribed a single 10ml bottle of medication, with a single refill. I took my prescription to this CVS location, who had on my previous prescription, filled it properly. When I returned to pick up my prescription at the drive-through, they provided me with a stapled bag and advised me of the price, which was nearly identical to my previously filled order. When I got home, I found that they had only given me 4 1ml vials. When I asked why they hadn't provided the 10ml, they indicated that they do that so that it won't go bad. I explained that they had provided the 10ml before, so they then said that they could not provide me with more than a 28 day supply. I asked why this wasn't an issue previously and they said it was a State Law. I asked if this was a new law, and they said that they just started enforcing it. I then asked why they didn't enforce it on my other prescription filled less than a week prior and they had no valid answer for that. They said that this was just the way it was. I asked whether they were going to provide me with the additional 6 vials at the charged price (since the price for the 4 vials was equal to the previous price of the 10ml vial) and they indicated that no, they wouldn't do that and I would be charged full price for those vials as well . So they didn't fill my physicians prescription as written, they didn't advise me that they could not fill my prescription as written and they are going to charge me roughly 250% of the price that it would have cost me HAD they filled it correctly. I contacted their corporate office and advised them of the situation and while they indicated they would have a district manager call me within 24hours, they have not done so. In my mind, this is completely unprofessional and should be illegal. It appears to me they are merely trying to charge 2.5X what the medication would cost, either there or at other locations (it is actually cheaper at Publix and Walgreens). I have filed a formal complaint with the Florida Board of Pharmacy, but I think that others need to be aware of what they are doing at this location. Prescription medication is expensive enough, but to do this is unconscionable!

You will sell me the meds, right? But because I was thoughtful enough and voluntarily disclosed it so you can take the necessary precautions, you turned me away. And the manager didn’t even apologize or showed any empathy for my situation!! CVS should treat people with respect and help them get their meds. Their policies don’t meet the needs of their customers and they don’t show enough respect to the ill. I will never buy anything from CVS anymore!
I was forced to switch my pharmacy from Walgreens to CVS. I have not had an easy experience with this location. I have a 90 day prescription that has been regularly filled since last June. My insurance has been on file for all of 2019. They called three times within the last 3 days to tell me my perscriotion was ready and each time I informed them of when I'd be in. I got there today and the pharmacist asked me for an insurance card and made a huge to do out of insurance that was supposed to be on file no less than 2 months ago when I picked up last time. None of the reps who called asked for me to bring my card. Then the tech came back and said there was no issue. They aren't very organized.
This review is for the pharmacy, I moved to the area and went to pick up a prescription for my son. The pharmacy tech said they did not carry this prescription. I asked if it could be ordered and he said it could but they would not - "well, we don't know if we would even be able to get it if we ordered it" ?? He did not bother to ask the pharmacist. I ended up using a pharmacy locating service through the drug company and they sent me to another, much more helpful, pharmacy and they had the drug ordered and in store within a few days. I'm switching my personal prescriptions from CVS after that visit.
Not a happy customer. Went there this morning 2/10/2020 to get some things before work at 8:10am and found out the hours changed from 8am to 9am for when they opened. There was 5 other customers that drove at around the same time was upset about this as well. It seems like a few CVS locations have changed from 24hrs or 8am opening to 9am. This company is going to lose a lot of customers to Walgreens because of this if they haven’t already. But this is why Walgreens is better anyway, they’ll never inconvenience their customers by opening their stores later
They priced an item wrong and charged me double when I corrected the issue and needed a refund they refused because they needed my ID or my receipt which since it was just purchased the receipt was in their hands. STILL they refused to issue a refund because “the system was down” mind you this wasn’t a purchase of alcohol or any tobacco products! They basically said oh well and took my money without a care. The “supervisor” looked like a hippie and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were high. You DO NOT do that to people they’re flat out wrong.
The pharmacist and reps at this location are extremely rude every time i drop off my prescriptions. She even told me at one point that i "needed to pick a cvs pharmacy and stick to it" excuse me?? There are locations everywhere FOR convenience. RUDE. Ive had to switch pharamacies because of her constant nasty attitude. They also close the pharamacy EARLY all the time! ive shown up at 30 till close and they already had it all locked up. Lazy! Dont give these people your business.
Called today to check on my script as I have the flu and the medication can only be taken with in so many days for it to help. The rep in the pharmacy was extremely rude and said I was attacking her with basic questions as “ is there another location I can go pick it up at?” She told me “ I’m not trying to catch attitude!” This seems to be a personal problem on her end. However if you can’t handle a simple question how are you working for a major company?
I went in post-surgery to pick up my pain medications. I was told they'd be ready in a 1/2 hour. I went back an hour later and was told they don't have that medication. Really??? Why wasnt I told that the first time i was in there... Now I'm scrambling to call the Doctor and find pain medications before the medications from the surgery actually wear off. What a pathetic Pharmacy, they obviously do not care about customers.
The experience I have received from this CVS location is inconsistent. I use them to fill prescriptions, and at several times was not notified that the medication was either not in stock, or there was an issue with insurance covering costs. I found out by calling them to follow up on my order! If they were better at communicating, I would rate them higher.
I had to pick up my anti depressant- mid panic attack. It was raised to 67 with out my knowledge. Explaining to the girl I couldn’t afford that she was extremely rude and shrugged at me. She wasn’t kind or helpful. While I know they cannot help the price. She could have helped her customer service.
I would not recommend using this pharmacy. Apparently they just dont accept phone calls any more. I called the general stores front desk and they even said that they're not allowed to transfer calls to the pharmacy anymore. I will definitely be switching pharmacies.
Unfortunately not one's but tree times this unprofessional pharmaceutical's forget to remain for even call to patient about their meds making it worse one's is time tone pick up they inform you . SADLY YOU CAN'T REALY ON IT. THE WORSE PHARMACY EVER.
Rude pharmacist when I called and asked them to help me get in contact with my doctors office for a refill on my prescription she said if I couldn’t then she couldn’t ... but they are the pharmacy you would think .... very rude
Looks like the pharmacy is a bit of an issue at this location so I take my prescriptions to another location. CVS has some personal care items that are always in stock that I don't find at other places.
The manager of this pharmacy Jennifer is rude, nasty and unprofessional. Her incompetence is mind blowing Idk how she became a manager.I’ll never go here again
