Getting prescriptions has always been a painless experience for me at CVS, but this was absolutely not the case here in this branch. To provide context, I’ve called this location many times to ask if there are any problems filling my prescriptions. No one ever picked up. I said that’s okay, let me go in person. I went in around 1pm today and the pharmacy staff told me oh, we’re understaffed — it’s not my problem that we can’t pick up your calls. Okay, I understand, that’s fine, let me just figure out how can we work together to make sure I can get my prescription. The pharmacist said no, I can’t give you the prescription because I cannot reach the insurance to get the code to fulfill my order. Okay, I understand. You’re understaffed and you might have other priorities. Can you give one more call for me now that I’m here in person? No, he said. I know how this process works. Come back at 4 or pay out of pocket. I said okay, let me come back. I went again in person around 6pm. Guess what? The pharmacist said no, I still cannot reach your insurance — there’s a technical error and it’s not my fault. I said okay, let me call and see if that works. Let me give this a try if you’re not able to reach them directly. You know what? 5 minutes later, I was in touch with CVS Caremark on the phone and asked the representative to directly talk to the pharmacist to fulfill my order. I don’t know what’s going on. Understaffed? Okay. Technical errors? Okay. But I don’t see that you’re trying to help me. I can only think of this experience from someone who relies on CVS for medication. Who? Senior customers who rely on medications to live their day to day. Senior customers who cannot physically come in person multiple times a day to get their medications. Senior customers who cannot speak English and call their insurance for help. Sure, I can be patient. But can they? I have no right to say as a pharmacist, you should do this or that — because after all, I’m not qualified to be one. However, I’ve worked in customer service roles from fast food to retail. The least that we can do as a human being is to help each other. I just didn’t see that today. Didn’t experience. Was left helpless in this process when it shouldn’t be painful. I’m only here for my prescription and I can only think of the many others who rely on medications but face these troubles on a daily basis. I want to give them a voice and also empower them with the right information. I write reviews to empower others to make the best decisions with the most transparent information possible. I hope this review helps customers. I hope this helps CVS better address the understaffed pharmacy. And I hope that this experience can help the pharmacist understand that if I wasn’t physically and mentally able, if I wasn’t English speaking, I might not have gotten my prescription today that I rely on for my health. Thanks for taking the time to read this experience and I hope it helps others understand what is going on at this CVS Pharmacy branch.
The absolute worst CVS I have ever been to. I was honestly holding off on writing this review thinking(and hoping) each experience was a one time sort of deal but unfortunate EVERY single time I come here it’s a mess. This is the absolutely longest wait time ever. I get texts that prescriptions are ready and I show up and wait in line for almost an hour (no joke) to find out they are not ready. I have also tried to call and have NEVER made it through to the pharmacist. I even called and proceeded to walk to the pharmacy and was on hold the entire time and even waited in line while I was on hold. I’m very unhappy with each experience and I will be transferring my prescriptions. With all of this being said, I want to say that the staff is very friendly and I don’t want to criticize their efforts but there is definitely a problem. I don’t know if this is an understaffing issue or an efficiency issue but this is a problem that needs to be addressed or you’re going to keep losing customers.
I am very disappointed with the service in your pharmacy! I was prescribed eye drops and went to pick them up but I faced very unprofessional and mostly horrible rudeness of a man pharmacist there. He said that kind of eye drops I need ed he hadn’t seen for 8 yeasr and they are very rare. When I asked him to check another cvs pharmacy he replied that he had another stuff to do , when I told him that actually your job is to order medicine for me, he said I will print you all the nearest cvs pharmacies and you should call them yourself ,then he mentioned again that why your doctor prescribed so uncommon drugs and he should replace them. Because of his unprofessionalism I started mistrust of doctors prescription. But when I googled it and found it online I went to Walgreens where I found them. This kind of eye drops is not rare at all! I hope he will not affect other people because of him I got a lot of anxiety of his unprofessional behaviour!
I purchased a box of hair color and when I returned to my hotel I noticed that there seemed to be less product than I usually get after I mixed the solution. I further discovered the protective gloves were missing. I just tried to return the purchase and was confronted by a very unprofessional manager who accused me of damaging the product. He then argued that I could not exchange it unless I bring back my reward coupon of $2 I received from the original purchase and was back in my hotel room. After a humiliating exchange in front of many people where I was interrogated, he conceded to exchange it. The irony is that I worked for CVS for 7 yrs. It was how I got through college. I never treated anyone like that and I thought there was a satisfaction guarantee. Interrogating customers was not part of employee training.
Hands down the WORST pharmacy I have ever used. Prepare to have your script fulfillments ignored via the app and email and god forbid you should try to call the max you will never get through. You will wait in line for no less than 20 minutes even if only one person ahead. After he has taken your name, pharmacist will continue to take other new customers in front of you while you wait for him to gather your order, which although you received an “order ready” text, be assured it is not. On average takes me two weeks to pick up my script after I have requested a refill and the time I can actually retrieve. Absurd! Only reason I have continued here is it is downstairs of my apartment. At this point I don’t care to go out of my way, I am changing this awful pharmacy. Also there is never toilet paper stocked. Whack.
The Pharmacy staff, especially Pharmacist Erin, couldn't have been nicer. We had a physician that sent incorrect prescriptions numerous times for a medication that is in short supply. Erin went above and beyond to help me navigate through some very stressful days and was able to successfully resolve my issue. She took absolute ownership of my problem and did not stop until she helped me get everything resolved. You just don't see that much anymore and I usually don't expect that in a chain type of store, but she changed my opinion. The rest of the staff couldn't have been nicer, including the pharmacy and the regular store- was there for a few hours so I had a very long opportunity to observe and interact. THANK YOU AGAIN ERIN!!!!!!
Definitely wouldn't recommend going here with the night shift. I was charged for 3 of the $18.49 USD flash drives. After returning to my hotel, I checked the receipt and ended up walking back. Albert was the one who over charged me and he was the one to give me my money back. Well at least he tried, first he asked if I wanted cash or a reloadable card, trying to convince me on the card saying it would be better and that a manager would be needed for cash. I asked for cash and he didn't end up calling a manager anyway. So later I found out that he also shorted me $5 of my refund. He needs to learn how to count or at least look at the screen that says the refund amount. Definitely going to call it in.
Dr. Vincent is great and really does go above and beyond to help the patients here. I had an issue with a prescription that was incorrectly called in by my doctor and he did a fantastic job resolving this issue for me. I do hope he is being recognized for his hard work and dedication to his job. However, every time I come into this location it appears that the pharmacy is understaffed and could really use more help. This is not something that is Dr. Vincent’s fault at all. As a matter of fact, you can tell he is always doing his best to deal this these unfortunate circumstances. The corporate offices need to help this location by hiring more people to assist the great employees they currently have!
Worst customer service ever. When I went to check out with several items, I was the only person in line. Ashley (according to her name tag) was sweeping behind the register. I waited for a moment and asked if she would check me out. She ignored me. Another employee told me to use the self checkout. I have never had good experiences with those. When I talked to a manager, Justanya, she was on her way out and displayed the same apathetic attitude as those she manages. Hey! At least they're consistent! As burning world issues go, this is not a biggie. But I will definitely shop at a place that has nice people who will either help me or explain if there's a problem. This is not that place.
The members of staff in this branch are friendly and helpful. I passby this shop quite often on my way from a nearby (other) shop or when I am taking a walk to sit by the ocean near Inter Contimental hotel. I cannot rememeber that staff did not welcome me well. I took so many pictures during this evening visit to CVS just to give you a full idea of the organiziation in this branch. The shop is always neat and tidy. And you know you will find most if not all your need. There is always a room for improvement in CVS as a business, to increase their sales and make their customer base grow and keep their actual customers happi-er.
VERY BAD, THEY FORGAT PORTION OF MY SHOPPING REG#01, trn#0379, cshr#1113603, str#402, and I spent overthere $10.76, buying 6 kraft macaroni&cheeze cups, $1.00 each and 4 instant ice-tea packs, Snapple, peach flavor, $1.19 each, and the cashier, Anelena, gave me one bag with my small purchase, missing all my ice-tea packs, haw she was working like that, and unfortunately for me, I found that at Greyhound Stn, that they simple robbed me for not placed my paid ice-tea packs in that shopping bag with kraft macaroni&cheeze, and I am on my way to Orlando, already! Hope they will be fired!!!
The pharmacist at this location is extremely rude, I am a nurse and was trying to help call in a medication for a patient having trouble obtaining. When asking on how to send over the prescription for the patient, the pharmacist said “the doctor at your office should know the laws on this I will not explain it to you”. And hung up. In these times I understand frustration but she was rude from beginning to end when I was just trying to help a patient obtain the medication she needs
I don't understand why this branch is labeled "Open 24 hours". I just got back from there (~2 AM), all lights are on and there is an employee inside who shut the doors closed and tells everyone coming we are closed. She seems to be letting some of her friends maybe in .. but not opening for anyone else. I tried calling their phone but I got a reply that the branch is closed. Please update the open hours of this branch or correct that employee's behavior if it is not expected.
Horrible experience with the Pharmacy personnel. Delivered a prescription for a medication, 24 hours later when I was suppose to collect it no only was not ready but the same lady that took my order couldn't find the prescription. Was this suppose to be entered in to the system & ordered? This happens not only to me but also to all four other customers in front of me. Terrible customer services and wrong attitude of the personnel.
Doesn’t even deserve a star I’ve heard bad stories about this rx location the rx manager Claudio is highly abusive and rude and has just kicked a person out and prohibited his workers to help her out he didn’t allow her to go back in on the store that’s highly abusive and she’s a regular customer that gets her children’s and family’s medication from there so horrible and very very bad bad service abuse to the human right!
Worst experience ever. I had to go to the restroom. I walked in the restroom and it was filthy! The toilet was clogged up with feces and toilet paper. I told a sales associate and she didn't care and walked off from me. I told the manager and he said that was the only bathroom available to the public and there was no one to clean the bathroom for another 2 to 3 hours. What kind of customer service is this??
The pharmacy will NOT answer the phone. I asked to refill a prescription over a week ago and they still have not filled it. They said it wasn’t in stock and would be available by so and so date – it STILL has not been filled. I have been out of my prescription for five days and still nothing. I’ve been trying to call them for thirty minutes, the phone just continues to ring.
I had a bad experience, no one couldn't help me with my coupons, there was only one employee working at the counter and there was no manager or a supervisor to be found any where. Also the costumers were complaining because there was no one to helping them. I end up losing all my $5 coupons because the new employee did not know how to retrieve them.
Train your staff to respect people. I was at the checkout waiting for 10 minutes and asked a question and the associate told me I “rudely interrupted” her conversation with a manager. How dare the employee of the company talk to a customer like that. It’s like they don’t care and it’s a cult because they are all mean!
Pharmacy will not pick up. Have been on hold for an hour on two occasions this week. I drove to the pharmacy earlier this week and they told me they would fill my prescriptions. None have been filled and it is Friday. I don’t know what to do as this is the only store in the area that carries one of my medications
Worst customer service ever!!!! There're 3 employees taking care of 1 person while I was standing in line trying to buy a money order. I was there for about 10 minutes and had to leave without my money order because they're still with the same person. I'll never go back to that store.
I have been a customer for 10 years, I have a handicap. The new managers harrass me and make fun of my handicap constantly. The new manager makes obscene immoral sexual comments with staff. I am not going there anymore. This is against the A.D.A. Americans with Disabilities Act.
Very poor customer service. I asked for help to find a product and shift manager was too lazy to show me the product at the end had to find the product in my own and store manager wasn't available at time. Worse CVS store location ever. No wonder it has very low rating.
This is horrible store with terrible service. The staff racially profiles customers and I saw security staff harass and kick out a shopper for no reason. They are rude and create unsafe environment. Do not shop there and beware of employees harassing shoppers.
Excellent pharmacy staff. I especially appreciate Dr. Vincent as he always goes above and beyond to help patients. My only complaint is it’s almost impossible to get anyone on the phone, but this seems to be a universal problem with CVS.
Nice location. Centered around hotels, apartments, and dining. The staff was friendly and the store was clean. I only gave it 4 stars because each time I went there was a homeless man right outside the door who was harassing customers.
Waited at the pharmacy for over 20 minutes just to speak to the check-in person, plus waited another 15 minutes to get my shot. Glad I made an appointment. Also, they don't do passport photos here, unlike advertised online
The pharmacy needs more staff!! They are so nice but understaffed- cvs CORPORATE SHOULD BE ASHAMED of putting these people in such chaos to deal with. A mistake is going to be made and it will be corporate stagings fault.
Just went in here store judge me cause I have a book bag thinking I am going to steal I work two jobs I am not no bum judging a book by it’s cover is not the way to live make sure you guys remember that
Pharmacy closed before 8 pm last night and the pharmacy is still closed at this time .... how is this customer service and I don’t appreciate that we have to “patiently wait”
Empty aisles, unhappy worker, sketchy miami corner. Not like other CVS stores. You can’t predict all CVS stores to have same quality. Downsize so you keep your quality
How can you have ONLY ONE pharmacist 30 min wait to drop off and 45 min wait to pickup Amoxicillin!!!! What is wrong with you people. Get that poor man some help!
He's to slow the Nigerian pharmacist they only have him working and he is extremely slow for all the customers that go to that CVS hire someone please.
Unfortunately I had to call because you don’t display hours for pharmacy in your web page you say open 24hr and show hours for photo but not pharmacy
This place is pretty scummy. Definitely not one of CVS's better locations. The self checkouts are a problem. And overall it's a dirty place.
This CVS is the actual worst. Their self-checkouts are always broken I can never find what I need here. Not worth the long wait in lines.
The customer service is basically 0. I would never raccomend anybody to deal with the staff working at this location, very unprofessional
Jenina, or Janina, something along those lines (pharmacist), is extremely unprofessional and rude. Pretty much told me to F off.
The pharmacy is extremely rude and say he couldn't take my prescription cause he was busy! Really!!! Extremely unprofessional!
I got lost in downtown and a really nice gentlemen helped me he was a real sweetheart wish i could see him again lol. …
Nen todas merecen Estrellas. Exemplo atendiendo CVS de Brickell , atendente de farmacia: Sao pésimo, mal humorados.
Ótimo atendimento e grande variedade de produtos. Funcionários simpáticos, me ajudaram bastante no auto-atendimento
Products are low on the shelves, and still out of distilled water otherwise everyone was very friendly and helpful.
The people who work at the pharmacy are sweet but they have no problem putting you on hold for 45+ minutes. Awful.
Been going here for a few years. Good experience overall. Cashiers are friendly. I get my shots here too.
Decent stock and when there was more then a couple people in line another cashier came, quick service.
this is the best CVS! they always have my favorite items on stock, friendly service, always clean.
The worst customer service. I would always prefer a longer walk or drive just to not shop there.
Worst customer service ever. They are rude and don’t make any effort to do their job better.
Due to COVID-19 the store hours are not 24 hours. Google needs to reflect that.
Staff solo esta ahi para cobrar. No te prestan mucha ayuda. Self-payment.
Great service from Barbara from the Christmas department very helpful
For a 24/7 location they are closed more often than not. Understaffed
All employers wear pampers, it is from their words. Bathroom closed.
They are always short staffed at the pharmacy it’s ridiculous
Avoid cvs they are understaffed and poor customer service
The staff were really friendly in finding what we needed.
5-stars for the pharmacy and their problem-solving skills
Don't bother to try and reach the pharmacy on the phone
La atención en la farmacia de la chica es muy grosera
