Such an amazing place to visit in beautiful San Diego! Cabrillo National Monument is a beautiful and historic park located at the southern tip of Point Loma Peninsula in San Diego, California. It commemorates the landing of Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo at San Diego Bay on September 28, 1542, and is home to a wealth of cultural and natural resources. The park has stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, San Diego Bay, and the city skyline. There are several hiking trails, including the Old Point Loma Lighthouse Trail, which leads to a historic lighthouse built in 1855. The lighthouse especially was cute, and cozy in the interiors. Visitors can also explore the tide pools at Point Loma Tide Pools, where they can see a variety of marine life. The park is open year-round and admission is $20 per vehicle. You can quite easily spend an entire day there. When we went there, it was beautiful, foggy, and cool! I highly recommend visiting Cabrillo National Monument if you are looking for a beautiful and educational day trip in San Diego. It is a great place to learn about the history of the region and to enjoy the stunning natural scenery.
Located in San Diego, California, the Cabrillo National Monument is a historic and scenic destination that is well worth a visit. This beautiful park commemorates the landing of Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo in 1542, making it an important site in California's history. The park offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the San Diego skyline. Visitors can explore a variety of trails that wind through the park, providing opportunities for hiking, birdwatching, and picnicking. The tide pools located at the base of the cliffs are also a popular attraction, providing an opportunity to see a variety of marine life up close. The highlight of the park is the Old Point Loma Lighthouse, which was built in 1855 and operated for more than 30 years. The lighthouse has been beautifully preserved and offers a glimpse into what life was like for lighthouse keepers in the 19th century. Overall, the Cabrillo National Monument is a beautiful and educational destination that is perfect for visitors of all ages. Whether you're interested in history, nature, or just enjoying a beautiful day outdoors, this park has something to offer.
I was able to see the city of San Diego from this beautiful National Monument, the views of the ocean was a bit foggy but still just beautiful. The light house at the Cabrillo National Monument is a must see. During this visit I was unable to see it from the inside , (it was closing time) however during other visits I loved it when I saw the home because it was not just a light house it was also a home for his family. You also have access to a free museum that shows how people from other Countries came to INVADE ( I am sorry but it is the truth) the Americas. Many of the indigenous communities were victims of foreign diseases such as chicken pox, not to mention being enslaved. If you want to learn more about our nation's history - the good, the bad, and the ugly - then visit this museum.
If you are staying. In San Diego then don't miss this place. It's only a 16 min drive from the city. We went to sunset cliff beach from there it took 10 minutes. You have to pay the state park fees but it's valid for 7 days. It has a good size parking lot. The visitor center is having a few shows in a day ,a short movie about how Cabrillo sailed in rough and tough times. The short movie is about 25 minutes. Know the history before you visit this place. Good place to walk around and enjoy the coastal view of San Diego. If you are lucky then ,you will see whales. You can spend the whole day here. It has clean restrooms. Tide pools are beautiful and don't miss it if you have kids or kid heart in you. Check the weather before you visit this place. Dress up for the weather.
On the many trips to San Diego, this was our first visit to the national monument. The park area itself is on the end of the peninsula and offers some great views of the city and surrounding area. There are only 2 main trails from the visitor center. One is a loop that leads up to the light house and the other heads down to the coast. The lighthouse seems to be well cared for. The rooms inside were set up as if a lighthouse keeper was living there in the early 1900s. The trail from the light house loops to see some old bunkers and overlook of a kelp forest. There is a tide pool area that is a separate road from the main gate. Just make sure to check that your trip to these is during low tide.
Restrooms
Several restrooms around the grounds.
Cabrillo National Park, located in San Diego, California, is a must-visit destination for nature and history enthusiasts. Named after the Portuguese explorer Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, who was the first European to set foot on the West Coast of the United States, this park offers stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding coastline. Visitors can explore the Old Point Loma Lighthouse, a historic landmark that offers a glimpse into the life of a lighthouse keeper in the 1800s. The park also features numerous tide pools, where visitors can observe unique marine life up close. With its rich history, breathtaking views, and diverse ecosystems, Cabrillo National Park is a place of exploration and discovery for all who visit.
The Bayside Trail, located inside Cabrillo National Monument, is about a 2-mile hike when starting from the Visitors Center parking lot. The trail itself is 1.86 miles round trip according to the trailhead sign. The trail is primarily topped with gravel. The road and sidewalk from the Visitors Center to the trailhead are asphalt. The trail is not looped. It goes in two directions: down to the bottom and then back up. Querulous 8-year-olds may not like the walk, but their grandparents probably will (based on what I observed). It’s an enjoyable hike with great views of Mexico, downtown San Diego, and Naval Air Station North Island. I also saw a pair of dolphins enjoying the day…
Been in SD for several years just never made it out here. Such a beautiful and serene place. Absolutely stunning views of San Diego and the Pacific Ocean. Small visitor center with a gift shop. Active duty military and veterans with the National Park Pass do get in for free otherwise it is $20.00 for a POV. Lots of hiking and different viewpoints of San Diego and a fun spot to watch the jets and helos take off from North Island.
Restrooms
Plenty of restrooms available.
Picnic area
Plenty of outdoor seating areas. Signage indicates that Cabrillo National Monument is a smoke-free and trash-free park.
Probably some of the best views of San Diego. You can watch planes coming and going at the airport and airbase, and see the boats and ships coming and going from a high vantage point. The monument and light house stories are interesting part of history, but I think my favourite part was driving down to the new lighthouse area and checking out the tide pools and cliffs. There was even a sailboat that been breached and sent ashore at some point. Please just be careful of the cliff edges, there are no guardrails and I'm not sure I would be as trusting as some of the ground beneath them.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking in the front of the parking lot, across from the visitor center. If you go past the visitor center, toward the viewpoint, you'll come to this statue/monument. It is flat ground to get here, and there are benches to sit on if you need to rest. Experience: beautiful statue with a beautiful view of the ocean, cliffs, and city of San Diego in the back. This man was a colonizer, so not great, but the view is beautiful here.
Playground
No playgrounds.
Dog-friendliness
No dogs allowed.
Quite an amazing place, the view of the bay from high up is fantastic. Lots of history too with Navy planes constantly flying in and out. I think this is the largest US Navy base in the world based on sea and air traffic. The view of the Pacific Ocean from up there is a bit eerie as there is a lot of fog with an abrupt slope. The tidepools are also very nice to hike. I understand why the Spaniards wanted to land in that beautiful, it was the perfect spot indeed. The whale bones by the viewpoint at the top are a replica.
This location offers a remarkable vantage point to admire the stunning San Diego skyline and ocean views. The abundance of wildflowers adds a beautiful touch to the surroundings, creating a picturesque atmosphere. The lighthouse is particularly captivating and holds a wealth of fascinating history. The detailed information about the military base and its historical significance adds depth and context to the experience. Overall, this place provides a captivating blend of natural beauty and rich historical narratives.
Classic San Diego tourist site that is a must-see. Be prepared to Shell out $20 for your car or $10 per person if you decide to walk up. It is a very expensive and suggest a lot in between two and three hours minimum for this.
Playground
Did not see any.
Restrooms
Available at the main museum area... There was an outhouse on the trail but I really do not recommend as it was basically a hole in the ground with walls.
Dog-friendliness
Appeared mostly friendly.
Picnic area

All about the views for as far as you can see. While it can get touristy around the monument, you can learn a little history about the origins of Point Loma, see a really cool lighthouse, and go for a nice hike by the water. The tide pools offered a nice contrast where there were, yes picturesque views, but was a little calmer than your typical beach going areas. They offer an annual membership at a very inexpensive rate. The only knock is it closes early and would make it hard to visit during the workweek.
I love going to this place either to visit on my own or showing my friends and family from out of town. This place is such a unique piece of San Diego history. It’s a shame not everyone has been here. The tide pools to the lighthouse are all protected. Come here during low tide to see the sea creatures. Or come before sunset to watch amazing sunset views at the kelp viewing are.
Restrooms
Clean restrooms throughout park
Picnic area
Plenty of benches and even tables near the information booth
Incredibly beautiful views and just enough history and walking to keep the kids interested. We aren’t from the area but wanted to learn a bit about San Diego history. This was the perfect place to take in the amazing views and learn about some of the first explorers in the area. We took the shortest trail and saw the views of the kelp forest, checked out the lighthouse and walked the small exhibit area. We paid $20 to park and had the ability to come back for a week with the receipt. Highly recommend!
We visited from LA as a day trip and this place did not disappoint us. First the visitor center ,with amazing views of ocean, navy base, harbor, Coronado island. There is a exhibit room with some history of Cabrillo, explorer. Then head towards the Statue of Juan Cabrillo, then Lighthouse, big lens, whale overlook, tidepool and the cemetery. There are few hiking trails too. If you are planning for picnic, carry food and water. There is a small drink and snack vending machine near the visitor center.
Be aware! This place requires an entrance fee OR the annual national park pass for entry. Area closes down at 5pm sharp. I was a bit rushed as I didn’t get here until after 4pm but the sweeping views of San Diego and the Pacific were worth it. On a clear day, you can easily see the Coronado Islands looking south. Definitely stop by the visitors center to read up on the historical significance of the monument and the lighthouse. Beautiful area with a dedicated whale watching section as well.
I photographed a Navy Officer Promotion ceremony at the Event Bluff overlook. It was beautiful! Grounds were well maintained and the website is descriptive on how to reserve your spot. The actual monument was quite crowded on a Friday with another event and those who just want to see. Getting through the gate wasn't too bad - flashed my Veteran medical ID and got in no problem. Would love to return with my family soon to walk around b and enjoy the view.
Yes this place is absolutely gorgeous and beautiful view and you can see all of the San Diego area. I went there with my family and paid $20 dollars for 7days valid admission for my car ( sedan ). I recommend to come here for nice sunny day because it was kinda windy and chilly at the end of March. There’s a visitor center for little survivors and little museums and light house. I wished there’s a little cafe or something to eat place for everyone there.
I recently visited Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego and was blown away by the breathtaking views and majestic history. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the park itself was extremely well-maintained. The trails were well-marked and easy to navigate, and I was able to see a variety of plant life. I especially enjoyed the lighthouse and the panoramic views of the bay. Highly recommend visiting this amazing national monument!
As someone whose been here several times it's amazing that it's still interesting, the views are gorgeous. There's several activities to keep everything enthused, the tide pools are awesome and the cliffs beautiful. Make sure you arrive early, the tide pools close at 4:30. The remainder of the park closes at sunset. Give yourself at least 3 hours to see everything. You'll see San Diego in an entirely different way after you've been here.
Cabrillo National Monument is a good place to visit. I enjoyed watching the ships and the small boats. The lighthouse is cool and it’s nice to see the vegetables & herbs garden outside the lighthouse. I was able to see the old bunkers looking out over the ocean. It was high tide at the time of my visit but I enjoyed seeing dolphins in the ocean. I’ll come back when it’s low tide to explore the tide pool and find sea creatures.
Beautiful and with every bit of the trip to visit this site while touring around! Gorgeous area if you want to visit a historical site and million dollar views of all of San Diego, Coronado, the bay and the ocean! Amazing, refreshing and has a nice gift shop in addition with a museum indoors! Very impressive and a lot of fun! Jump on a trail and look around! Watch out for snakes while you're walking around! Fantastic!
This is a must visit if you are in San Diego. The views are incredible and so peaceful. The exhibits are interesting to see and the picture opportunities are many. If you are in halfway decent shape, do the hike to the bottom of the area and you will find that it has a totally different feel than the topside. The walk back up is nice also if there is a breeze. Just take your time and enjoy the scenery around you.
Such a beautiful place! We loved seeing this historic location and learning more about the history of Europeans coming to California. There’s an informative little museum there to help with that. Public bathrooms at the visitors center. Amazing views! It’s worth the effort to take the short trek uphill to see the light house. We also saw a submarine coming into the bay while there in the morning. So cool!
We enjoyed our morning at this monument. The visitor center has a lot of information about the interesting history, including several short movies. There is an old lighthouse which has artifacts, and a nice 2-3 mile trail that leads to beautiful scenery and views of San Diego, including Coronado Island. We were able to see planes taking off from the naval base, as well as naval ships.
Beautiful spot in San Diego, and a wonderfully kept National Park. A minimal $20 fee is worth it to spend time in this area. (Our national parks need our help!). The fee is good for 7 days. Visitor Center, old lighthouse, monument, views upon views, and the tide pools area. Great historical info as well as a great place to watch take offs from North Island.
Restrooms
Plenty!!
Great national monument. Free entry with National Park pass. Great for a quiet day. We loved watching the planes and helicopters taking off from the Naval base. You can also drive down the hill and visit the tidal pools. Excellent spot to catch the sunset and some fun information about Cabrillo and the lighthouse. Plenty of parking and well maintained. Great views of the city.
A pretty decent place hanging out with kids, dogs aren't allowed at the building area but it's just a small portion of the monument, a pet walking tidal pool area is great.
Restrooms
Dump nuked, don't expect but also expect...
Dog-friendliness
Yohooooo my doger love it

Walk and eat, no place to really sit down especially when it's packed.
Beautiful place Nice view of San Diego skyline and city This comes under National park so any one has national park pass it is free. Else for cars it has 7 days pass for $20 Visitor center is nice and has lot of information. Light house is open you can go inside but not on the top floor. You can go near sea and it is fantastic view see pictures. Must visit in San Diego.
Cabrillo National Monument is at the southern tip of the Point Loma Peninsula in San Diego, California, United States. It commemorates the landing of Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo at San Diego Bay on September 28, 1542. The view is breathtaking, everything is super clean and organized! This is something that you need to do if you are visiting San Diego.

The views of of Coronado Island and San Diego are not tobe missed. The area also has epic views of the Whale Highway, which is a main travel route for whale migration from Alaska. Overall lots of parking but get there early. Ticket price per car is $20 and is valid for 7 days if you want to return.
Restrooms
Clean restrooms at both lighthouse and gift shop.
If you travel to San Diego on a sunny day, I would confidently recommend this place. Enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean, downtown San Diego and even the Tijuana side of Mexico. You can enjoy hiking while looking at the fantastic scenery. In addition, The entrance fee is not worth it. And, If you have a National Park Pass, you can enjoy it for free.
This is my favorite spot in San Diego. Always fun with the family. Beautiful bay with downtown skyline on one side and beautiful beach on the other side with the tidepools. Just wish there was no military base or airport close by, because that jet and plane noise ruin the beauty of the area. Maybe they can move all that stuff to the desert.
Unbelievable and breathtaking! The 280-degree ocean, San Diego bay, and coast line views from this drive area are simply jaw-dropping. Under no circumstances should you leave this out of your trip plans. This review is just describing the views from the car, should you venture down the trails I understand there is even more to enjoy.
Absolutely beautiful! $20 entry fee per car, $10 per walker or biker. The fee covers entry for a week. Now that’s out of the way: it’s absolutely worth it! The views of San Diego are breathtaking but my favorite area was actually the tide pools. There’s something about the Pacific that soothes the soul! Make the trip, spend the day!
Excellent historic place to visit while in San Diego. Cabrillo was the first Portuguese sailor that took possession of the land in the name of the Spanish Crown around 1542. The old lighthouse still majestic. Excellent view of the ocean. Great areas for a picnic. Clean restrooms. Free for disabled veterans and their family.
Place is great for the view of the San Diego sky line and the ocean. Wild flowers everywhere and the lighthouse is fascinating. The history behind the military base and history itself is very detailed. The motive they show in the needs upgraded. It’s an old film from the 80’s or 90’s. Over all it’s a great place to visit.
Very peaceful with great views overlooking San Diego and Coronado Island. Unfortunately, the tide was coming in when we arrived around 11am. Low tide is 8am and 5pm. High is peak at 1pm. We're still able to do tide pooling in some areas. We saw the shipwreck, which is cool. History of the lighthouse is very interesting.
This is a beautiful place to learn about the history of the beginning of San Diego. Additionally, it has amazing views of the San Diego bay and a coastal area that either has waves smashing into it during high tide or tide pools to explore during low tide. Well worth the trip out here and the parking fees.
Easy park to get around. Arrive early or later near close to get good parking. One of the few lighthouses you can still go into. The visitors center is a great place to watch military aircraft. The tide pools are fun, make sure to wear shoes that can get wet and go mid afternoon to be there between tides.
Yes, we got to see this amazing national monument. Normally it's a bit of a better time going places with my family, but our boy wasn't feeling the greatest. He got better throughout the rest of the day.
Restrooms
There are bathrooms for everyone and even some private family style ones as well.
Great experience. Beautiful view of the city. The lighthouse nearby is interesting to see. Our boys got to pet a snake they were holding outside. There was a short movie about the nearby tide pools. Highly recommend a visit. Gift shop had some great stuff. May be a little boring for younger kids.
Amazing place close to San Diego. Amazing views of the city, ocean, coast, and more. Really nice staff. The bay side trail was awesome and only 2 miles. Perfect for a half day visit. It was 20 dollars to get in. Would love to go back to try other trails and spend more time in the museum.
Cabrillo offers the best views of the city and ocean in San Diego. There are a few hiking trails with wonderful views. Make sure to not forget to go to the tide pools at the bottom of the mountain/hill. If you are in town for a few days do this first as your pass is good for 7 days.
The monument area was informative and scenic. The trails and grounds were gorgeous and you can see the city and ocean for miles! Great to see the subset as well. Everyone visiting San Diego should check it out!
Restrooms
There were clean restrooms that is accessible to all.
There are amazing views here, and lots of signage explaining what you can see. There are a lot of military planes flying by. They have a very large gift shop, and they have a movie, small museum, and restrooms. There is a short walk to see the statue and old lighthouse.
This is a must do attraction in San Diego whether you are visiting or living here. It costs $20 to enter, unless you have a national park pass. It is worth it. It has the best views in the city. There is also a lot of city history to learn about here. Plenty of parking.
It was a new beginning for us!! As soon as we moved to San Diego we visited this place!! Amazing views of the city, ocean, coast, Coronado Island and more. There are many short trails around the National monument. It was a perfect and peaceful visit!!
This is such a peaceful place. You can see so much of the city, the ships going in and out of port and beautiful sunsets. It's $15 a car to get in but it's totally worth it. Make sure to check out both sides, the monument side and the tide pool side.
National Monument with breathtaking views of Downtown San Diego, Coronado, Point Loma and Mexico. Tide pool area is beautiful even in summer when tides are too high to see the pools. $20.00 for a carload. $10.00 for a single hiker or bicyclist.
Great place to spend half a day and bring the kids to explore. We got there around 9:30. The park opens up at 9: 00am it was still super foggy, but that cloud cover went by 11:00am. Definitely wear comfortable shoes. There's lots of walking
Place is being loved to death. Looks like a lot of the land to be preserved needs to be restored. Great views, though, and they're not kidding about not being able to see the tide pools at all unless low tide coincides with their open hours.
This was a really beautiful place! If you want to have endless views of the ocean, a place to hike, a lighthouse, sailboats, and potential whale sightings… this is for you! My only complaint would be that it is difficult to navigate without
Great views of San Diego harbor and Navy ships! $20 per car entry fee. Or if 65 or older you can buy a senior pass for ALL National parks for $80 and never have to pay entry fees for National Parks again.
Restrooms
Clean restrooms.
Large area with observation decks and beautiful views of the ocean and San Diego. There is an old lighthouse and you can see how people used to live and work. There were not many people on the weekend and it was comfortable to walk around
I would STRONGLY recommend visiting given the time. There are so many cool things here that it would be foolish to avoid going here. The views are panoramically amazing, the WWII exhibits are fascinating, and the lighthouse is inspiring.
Cabrillo is always a beautiful place to visit in San Diego. On a clear day you can whale watch from the trail facing the ocean. Binoculars help. On this day it was a bit crowded and windy. Luckily we had our National Parks Pass, so we
Beautiful place to visit and check out some history too. If you go during evening hours you will be treated with nice sunset. Need to pay to enter. However if you have national park permit it's free

This park is absolutely gorgeous. Whether you're checking out the view of the bay, or whale watching on the ocean side, you will always be blown away. I thought the lighthouse and museum areas were all really well put together and
Visited Cabrillo National Monument around Aug 2022. One side’s the vibrant Pacific Ocean view, the other side’s Mexican style buildings overlooking the valley, next to a giant tree silhouetted against the clouded sky, what a view!
Nice park just outside the city of San Diego. The views are the best in the area and there is some interesting history to learn about too. The $20 per vehicle is a bit steep for what will be only a couple of hours for most people.
I love visiting Cabrillo National Monument. There is plenty to see. The lighthouse itself is historical, the view of San Diego is amazing, and the sound of the ocean waves is soothing!

Nice place to see sweeping views of San Diego. We hiked multiple trails and they seemed relatively easy, although there were some decent inclines, for me anyway. Went to see the tide pools at low tide and that was very neat.
Tide pools are amazing, bit wear water shoes or sandals, very slippery. The hike by the ocean is gorgeous. The lighthouse and the barracks have well documented historical facts and the view of San Diego is breath taking:)
This is a hidden gem in San Diego. The lighthouse and visitor center were excellent. Don't miss the tide pools, although parking can be hard to come by. There is plenty of parking by the visitor center with great vistas.
Cabrillo National Monument was a great part of our Summer vacation. The beach side tide pools was our favorite part. It’s a beautiful spot to hang out and chase crabs. The lighthouse and actual monument were cool too.
Overview: Cabrillo National Park is undoubtedly one of the most remarkable hidden gems I've had the pleasure of visiting. Nestled in its unassuming size lies an extraordinary experience that should not be missed.
The history of the United States of America is built on the shoulders of real people. Here at Cabrillo National Monument there is much to see and the view of San Diego and the Pacific coastline is a must to see.
What an amazing place to visit, the view is a 10+ whenever you're in SanDiego Ca, go visit is $10.00 to get in, but worth it and you're contributing to the parks. Bring a picnicking basket and enjoy the view.
First time exploring here at the Cabrillo National Monument. I only spent a few hours but we enjoyed ourselves. Only gave 4 * because we have not finised exploring the site. I will update later
Stunning views from all angles, a real photo opp for family, friends and scenery. Photos: the old lighthouse, the current one, and a sweeping view of Coronado island and San Diego.
Amazing spot to go for a walk. Views are breathtaking and it’s always clean. There are bathrooms and a visitor center. The views of the Pacific, Coronado and San Diego are unique!
can see everything in an hour or two. Great views on a clear day and a solid pit stop before Sunset Cliffs. check tide charts before you come if you want to do the tide pools.
Nice spot to take visitors or just enjoy on the weekend. It has a trail/hike as well as the lighthouse, the old living quarters, and the history of the place. Enjoyed.
Up on a cliff. Be sure to save time to see the tide pools and lighthouse. There are also guided tours. If you have a national park pass that will allow you to enter.
Visited after many years. Car entrance fee is $20. Good family hiking place. Bring own food as no cafe inside. Beach front is very good, but parking is pure luck.
Beautiful views from here in every direction. Great place to take pictures of sea life and sunsets! Not very large so there's a lot of people around at all times.
Twas a beautiful cold, sunny morning when we get there. A lot of kids were there to study the history of Cabrillo and Pt Loma lighthouse. Nice view of San Diego.
It was interesting spot to view the some parts of San Diego like a view point on top of the hills but the day i visited it was too foggy to see clear views
This is a great place to explore the tide pools during low tide. There were a lot of rangers there to help answer questions and monitor the guests.
I'm pretty sure there are rattlesnakes here. Paved trails take you everywhere you need to go. Have at least a couple hours to hit every spot.
My granddaughter loved it and wants to go back again! We were disappointed on how early they closed. We would have stayed much longer.
Wonderful views of the bay, ocean and city skyline. A great place to go whale watching in the spring. The views are spectacular.
Wonderful place! Easy trails with information on fauna, flora and defense systems as the 19th Coast Artillery at Fort Rosecrans
We love visiting NPs and NMs. This place is wonderful as it offers views of the bay, the ocean, tides, floras and terrains.
Arrived late so only had an hour to check it out but worth it nonetheless. Very interesting history. The views are amazing.
Awesome views of San Diego. Make sure to visit the Lighthouse. Suggest a visit to nearby Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
Came here on a Friday morning. Great views. $20 entry pass charge per personal auto. Pass is good for 7 days.
Beautiful park, definitely a great place to visit. Park entry is free for military personnel and veterans!!
Nice location to get an aerial view of the Point Loma, downtown, and Coronado.

Nice place to take a walk. Will come back to watch the gray wales migrate from the Arctic ocean.
Absolutely loved the monument. If you’re able, checkout the bayside trail and the tide pools.
Very scenic and a lot of Kodak moments. It was a great use of my national parks pass card.
Nice coastal views and a great place to spot little sea life at tidepool
