Upon my recent visit to Cafe Bateel, I was pleasantly captivated by the exquisite selection of desserts and drinks which truly captured the essence of indulgence. The restaurant stands as a testament to a keen understanding of flavor profiles and culinary finesse. The dessert menu offered a rich assortment of sumptuous delights. Each dessert was a masterpiece on its own, harmoniously blending textures and tastes in a delightful symphony. The drink selection was equally impressive. Each beverage served was perfectly crafted, showcasing the art of mixology at its finest. The drinks not only complemented the desserts beautifully but also stood their ground as individual palate pleasers. Service was prompt, and the ambiance was comfortable, making it an overall enjoyable dining experience. My reason for the 4/5 rating is that while the dessert and drink selection was truly delectable, I believe there's always room for minor improvements and the potential to reach an absolute perfection.

I recently visited Café Bateel at Dubai Hills Mall and had mixed feelings about my experience. The restaurant's atmosphere is certainly pleasant, and the service provided was excellent. One of the highlights for me was the availability of Entertainer offers, which allowed for a "Buy 1 Get 1" deal. Café Bateel offers a diverse menu, covering breakfast options, salads, sweets, and main meals. On this particular visit, I decided to try four main dishes. Unfortunately, I wasn't particularly impressed with them. The heavy use of spices and dressing sauces seemed to overpower the flavors, which didn't align with my personal taste preferences. While my lunch experience left something to be desired, I'm still open to giving Café Bateel a chance for breakfast in the future. It's possible that their morning offerings might better suit my palate. However, for lunch, I'd probably opt for a different dining option next time.

I give my experience there a ten over ten! Welcoming was great, we found a place for two right away, waiters were helpful and service was fast. The ambiance there is great and the acoustic of the walls is very good that you do not feel the noise from the crowded place even that it's inside Dubai Hills Mall! This is a great added value for me. The food was amazing, we tried the guacamole halloume starter, salmon and beef main dishes, and all was cooked perfectly and presented perfectly as well. The deserts were so delicious (I'm sorry I forgot the items names but you cam find them in the photos along with my review), also the coffee was great. I highly recommend this place, a must try for sure

The first time we tried their special - leek infused rice with beef cheek - which was just exceptional. Unfortunately, they removed that special. The next time we came, we tried their risotto with beef steak which was quite ordinary. Verdict: Recommended - with caution. My favourite branch out of all the cafe bateel’s in Dubai. Great service. Quality food — and fast to arrive at the table. Kid’s menu is a steal — we ordered rigatoni pasta with tomato sauce, waffles and an apple juice for our daughter — she hoovered everything! The short ribs cannelloni was outrageously delicious! Highly recommend. Side of sautéed kale, asparagus and broccoli was also super tasty. Didn’t enjoy the new black cod fish cakes though, so hard pass on that. We will be back for sure and cannot recommend this place enough!

We went for dessert and chose the Chocolate fondant and the French toast. They were divine..... the richness of the flavours, the presentation, the ingredients, nothing was less than extraordinary. The service was amazing and quick as usual.

Frensh Toast

I always love coming to Bateel for breakfast. Their shakshuka is delicious - served with some soft pitta bread. Their dates are so juicy and more-ish. Best thing is they’re also on Entertainer too.
