"The guy at that who took our order and made us pay didn't really have a good attitude"
Really cute cafe with friendly staff. We actually planned to go somewhere else, but as we passed by, the atmosphere and the options for breakfast/brunch made us stay in the Café Pékoe. There are not that many vegan choices, but the one I had - the vegepate Sandwich - was delicious. If you’re not vegan there’s a lot of other options in bagels and sandwiches. Plus the coffee is amazing! It’s not that strong, which made it the best coffee I had while traveling Quebec. Also I really appreciated the atmosphere. A few people where just chatting, or getting a quick coffee, some seemed to study or read. I’d definitely come back for a study session or just another coffee!

Cute little cafe across from the hotel we were staying at, so we decided to check it out. The decor was simple yet cute. The staff were friendly and very patient in explaining the menu to us. They offer a variety of coffee and teas. But in addition to that, they also have fruit juice and bubble tea. I got a assam black tea latte. It was pretty good. The flavour was strong. But it was not creamy enough. I'm not sure if they used actual steamed milk or just regular water and then added milk. I also got a double chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was okay. Nothing special. Overall, it's a decent cafe, nice place to chill at or studying in
Cute little café with a lot of drink options. More or less every coffe, tea or bubble tea combination on this planet is in the menu. Therefore it is impossible to find something you don't like. Home made soup and some amazing banh mi make the perfect breakfast or lunch snack. Service is fast and good and the prices are reasonable.

We came here for a quick morning coffee, and a snack. We tried the carrot muffin and I got a cup of filtered coffee. The baked goods were extremely delicious and the coffee was good too. They have a lot of seating with the large benches for families and they have some smaller tables. They also have a space for you to sit and work with Wi-Fi and electrical outlets. The staff is really helpful and they speak both English and French. I like the space a lot and would definitely recommend a visit.

The guy at that who took our order and made us pay didn't really have a good attitude. He was kind of a little bit rude. The food was ok, nothing really special. The soup was very good though. I don't think the place is worth the rating they have, but you still go and try it yourself.

The decoration is absolutely lovely ! The drinks menu is original (for quebec) and nice, they all taste good. It feels really good to be there. This place is strongly inspired by Taiwanese culture and traditions which is refreshing. But dont be fooled, it s far from being Asian. The soup was delicious, the reste tasteless and so small : definitely over price. Plus, the staff was nice and smiling but very very very slow even though no rush at that time. If you want to go there to work or study, it is well organized for that, but bring a jacket it is freezing there !!!
Unfortunately we found our iced vanilla lattes very disappointing. The service was slow however , it appeared that they got extremely busy all at once as we happened to walk in while it was quiet and we’re followed by a handful of different groups. The staff was extremely kind and the ambiance/vibe in here is absolutely wonderful! It looks like they make their baked goods and breads in house so I would imagine they are pretty tasty!

Very cute place! While I was able to make out most of the menu, the staff kindly walked me through the vegan options in English. I enjoyed the végé banh mi (not quite traditional, but still tasty) and spinach soup. It was nice to see they also had a variety of vegan baked goods & ice cream. Would love to try those if I’m ever back in the area!

I love the bánh mì pâté végé And they have perfect Matcha latté, i really mean « perfect »
Wonderful coffee and tea shop. I got a chocolate banana bread as well as a classic chai latte. The spice in the chai was super yummy. The banana bread was moist and rich. The girls who served me spoke both English and French. I don’t speak any French but they were still warm and welcoming. The WiFi has a solid connection and was steadily fast. There were quite a few people just chilling and hanging out. It really was a relaxed spot for escaping the freezing outdoors.
Excellent coffee shop in the heart of St-Roch district. We found this little gem by wandering along St-Joseph street. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Their coffees are deliciously brewed. There’s also a very decent selections of premium teas. My daughters LOVED their milk shakes and cookies. It is also dog friendly. Competitive prices for the quality of coffees, 10x better than Starbucks! Staff bilingual and very courteous. Highly recommend!
I work right next to this place, love their bubble teas but two things bug me. 1: they took the mango jelly bubles off the menu, it was my favorite. 2: The WAITING time is insane. Even if there is only 2-3 people in line the service is extremly slow and has always been, so i almost never go unless there is no line and i have 15 minutes to spare waiting. Overall good but needs faster employees. They take their damn time ;)
Love this place. The staff is very friendly. Their bubble tea is not like Taiwanese bubble tea but it is awesome. Rich and sweet, but doesn't taste artificial. The bubbles are always fresh, which is something I always look out for. The only sucky thing is that it is hard to find a seat as it is always full. I'd wish they would install more chairs and more smaller tables so that I could find a seat every time I come.
Went here multiple times on my stay with my daughter in Quebec. Was a highlight of your trip. From the lovely staff with great recommendations to the variety of food including bahn mi’sand bubble tea’s (peach and green tea are delicious) this is standout! Thank you to staff and chefs for providing such lovely experiences.

Nice place to hang out. You can access to free wifi and there are a lot of plugs to charge your phone/laptop. I ordered taro milk tea and the flavor wasnt so strong. Also, I ordered salmon bowl with rice and salad. It was a bowl prepared before, so the basmati rice was cold because it was in the fridge. I wish it could be warm rice. Other things in the bowl were good.
My favourite place in town to get bubble tea! Now that bubble tea stores are popping everywhere around the city, I've tried a few but nothing beats Pékoe. Not overly sugary and with a great variety of flavours. I've also tried their cookies and bánh mì... guess what? Also delicious! It's a great place to just sit down, relax, and read a book or study.
My girls and I keep going back for the banh mi-inspired sandwiches! The baguettes are baked on site so they are fresh and delicious. The scones are also so yummy. I love the raspberry one. The prices are reasonable too. My one daughter loves the oreo milkshake, and the other the bubble tea, myself, I order the chai latte (served in generous portions).
Café Pekoe was opposite the Hotel Pur where we were staying, and handy for breakfast. They have a vast range of teas which are freshly brewed and served in your own pot. Lots of fresh baked goods, scones and cakes. If you want something more substantial they do soups and other light dishes. Their decor is funky and service is good with a smile.
i had their vegan matcha ice cream and it was delicious. my friend ordered a hot chocolate and it was not too sweet, which was good. the cafe is super nice and spacious. workers were friendly as well.

Went for breakfast today. Fairly expensive for a couple hot drinks, a bagel and a scone. The scone was dry and not that flavourful. The tea tasted very watered down and could not finish it. The café latte was average.

Came here based on the rating and reviews. Not disappointed at all! Cute cafe with a cozy environment. I ordered the passion fruit milk bubble tea - the milk and tea retained its taste in the drink while having a rich passion fruit flavour. The hazelnut hot chocolate was also very good!
Staying in Quebec for a few days and we were looking for a good morning coffee. The service was incredible and the Cafe was very inviting and welcoming. The coffee was delicious. All in all what a wonderful establishment. Thank you so much.

Their milk bubble tea is awesome, they blend it until it has a thick layer of foam and there isn't too much sugar in it. My favorite is peach with tapioca. I also had a sandwich there. Nothing too impressive, but good. Just know that drinks and sweet snacks are their specialty.
Strongly recommend the milkshake and the hot chocolate. And definitely order the bol poke with salmon. The waitress is very nice and patient.

Most white washed poke bowl I’ve ever had. Went and got a poke bowl in old Quebec and it didn’t have canned corn in it and black beans, much better. The rice isn’t even seasoned. And again... there was canned corn in my poke bowl... I’m so sad... and hungry.
Loved the place! Had a nice vibe, cozy and the chocolate & latte were just too good. Very reasonable prices for such a big portion! Probably the biggest you can get around. Staff was very helpful and kind. Definitely would come back but leaving tomorrow :(
We grabbed a quick lunch and a drink here before leaving to go home. I'm glad we stopped here. I had the best hot chocolate I've ever had in my life, here. The soup and sandwich I ordered were also amazing. This was a great last meal in Québec!
Chai latte was good but even though I was the only one ordering, it took quite a bit. Great space but mostly filled with computer campers, I much prefer loud coffee shops where people go to hang out and meet friends. Nice place though :) More
A very cute cafe with affordable prices and good plant based options. The drinks all have milk alternatives and they have veg and non-veg desserts and ice creams. The prepared food is south-Asian style like banh mi and poké. They have tofu
A cafe that also sells boba and bubble tea. Thats got to be popular with kids. Found this place walking in quebec city and it didn’t disappoint. Speciality coffee with planty of tables to sit. Bagels are also very tasty. Milkshakes, tea,
Good ban mi. Bit slow on the service, but you get a very nice sandwich. Update : Sadly going down with the St-Josrph curse. Bubble tea a used to be the only good one nearby, nowadays they're just not good at all. Mostly ice and tasteless.
Hands down, some of the best coffee I have ever had. My wife and I, by chance, were staying at the hotel across the street for a few days. Each morning, we got our coffee here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Fabulous!
The interior is super minimalist. There are plenty of places to sit. I ordered a mango bubble tea with tapioca and they didn't have enough. So they made up the rest with my choice of pearls. They also sell metal straws.
The service was decent and the food was also quite good. It's a bit overpriced in my opinon. I did have the best smoothie of my life here though (strawberry banana).

Ordered the strawberry milkshake and taro bubble tea. Both were well made, not overly sweet like some other places. The cookie was not my favorite, but my girls sure devoured it. Definitely recommend this place.
The coffee looked and tasted incredible! We ordered the moka and dirty chai. Also, the best bubble tea we have ever had. The atmosphere topped off the whole experience with ambient lighting and quaint seating!
My mother and I loved this place! Their bubble tea was not at all sweet, which is ideal for me. Their gelato tastes amazing, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. The prices were also very fair.
Nice Bubble Tea and Banh Minh Sandwiches, lovely environment and friendly staff. Definitely recommending for any lover of bubble tea and Banh Minh Sandwiches. Prices are cheap, and nice selection of music.

i love it! Bubble tea is perfect! And the sandwich is simple but tasty. It just sometimes smell bad from the toilet. Otherwise I'll give them one more star!
The baristas were very friendly. We are from the states so they took time explaining things to us. The atmosphere is lovely and my matcha was delicious

Probably the best Bahn-Mi I’ve ever had, try their veggie patty! Also liked everything else that we ordered, will definitely be visiting again.
Had a lychee milk tea with pearls and it was pretty good. Had my doubts because it wasn't your traditional bubble tea shop

Friendly staff and delicious coffee. I was thrilled to find a coffee shop that has oat milk. It will be my go-to spot for the next week.
My favorite sandwich in the entire WORLD! (Tuna) I stop there every time i am going to Saguenay just for it. The location is perfect.
Staff is really nice and the number of tea choice is impressing! The price of their meal is also really good for the amount you get!
Very cute and cozy café. Great selection of bubble teas and amongst the bests Ive had. Their Bánh Mì is also pretty tasty.
Great fresh sandwiches and fantastic coffee and tea! They also open early during the week which is a bonus! More
