Capturing the essence of this restaurant proves to be a delightful challenge, as words alone feel insufficient to convey its exceptional qualities. During my inaugural visit, I indulged in the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, an experience that surpassed all expectations. Accompanied by Salan and Raita, the flavors were truly exceptional. Despite the seemingly modest portion, the authenticity of the Biryani compensated generously. Driven by curiosity regarding the restaurant's consistency, I revisited multiple times—on the second, third, and every subsequent occasion, the experience consistently maintained an impressive standard. This unwavering commitment to excellence is truly commendable. Diverging from the Biryani, I explored offerings such as Fried Rice, Pepper Chicken, and various curries, all of which proved to be outstanding. The exceptional taste consistently overshadowed any reservations I might have harbored. The restaurant consistently excels in delivering a diverse array of dishes, consistently meeting or surpassing expectations. It is worth noting, however, that both the quantity of the dishes and the level of customer service often fall short of justifying the price. Despite this minor drawback, the overall culinary adventure at this establishment stands as a testament to its enduring excellence.

then take down our request and do what they please. When we called back about their mistake, the receptionist was eager to take down our new order thinking we called her for a new order.. but when we mentioned there has been a mistake in our order she says - “I have a customer in front of me, can you call back after 10 mins.” If you have time to take down a new order, you definitely have time to listen to a customer order gone wrong, that’s the least customer service you could offer. This isn’t the first time our order has been stuffed! Let me be clear, We are not expecting a refund or anything! But we just wanted - what we order is what we get OR be told our requests cannot be handled. We understand sometimes mistakes happen but this kind of customer service repeatedly going wrong is unacceptable. Either train your receptionist on what customer service is or get one who knows how to offer proper customer service/response. Let me remind one thing, you are not running a charity event, and we are paying for our order and expect it to be handled professionally. Regards, Repeatedly frustrated customer!

I recently visited the restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. There were a couple of major issues that significantly impacted my visit. Firstly, the door was left open, resulting in an extremely cold environment. It made the dining experience quite uncomfortable, and I found it challenging to enjoy my meal while constantly feeling cold. Secondly, the customer service was abysmal. The staff members were not only unhelpful but also displayed a level of rudeness that was completely uncalled for. Their behavior made me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a customer. Overall, my experience at here was far from satisfactory. The combination of the freezing temperature and the rude staff made it difficult for me to enjoy the food or have a pleasant dining experience. I hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements to avoid disappointing future customers.

I recently visited this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with the food. The portion sizes were generous and the taste was absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed the family pack, which was simply awesome and provided great value for money. I will definitely be back soon to try out more of their menu. However, while the food was great, I did notice that the management could use a bit of improvement. The service was a bit slow and disorganized, and I think some proper management could help streamline things and provide a better experience for customers. Additionally, I think the restaurant could benefit from some background music. It would provide a nice ambiance and help create a more enjoyable dining experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for its tasty food and great value, but with the caveat that some improvements could be made in terms of management and atmosphere.

* Vegetarian review alert * Always check what you ordered and what you get, if you don’t ask you’ll be eating something else. I’ve had a dine in today at this restaurant and found chicken slices in paneer biryani. Although it was supposed to be a veg dish, chef decides which rice goes on top of veg dishes on avaliability. Upon verifying with the staff they confirmed it was chicken rice served. Since they are out of veg rice to make paneer biryani, they choosed chicken rice to serve. What if chicken rice is also finished will it be goat biryani rice. Let customers choose what rice goes on veg biryanis when we are paying $$. Please be aware people, this may not be noticed by so many customers as they believe in what they order, always let staff member know you want veg food.

This is one of the worst biryani, I have ever had. Went there on a recommendation of colleague. Drived an hour down there from my house and it's an utter disgrace to the food that we have so much emotion for. First, many items on menu were not even available and the lady at the front was full of attitude. They made the kadhai chicken with their own mind, nothing near to any kadhai chicken, I ever had. I asked for a 2nd naan, the first one was plain naan and the 2nd they gave garlic naan. When I was paying for the 2nd naan, the lady was adamant that I asked for garlic naan which I didn't. Why on earth, would I ask for garlic when the first one was plain? The lady charged extra for this after argument. Don't waste your money here.

This place just surpasses its own record of rudness. For a take away you are told to come after 45 minutes. Then when you arrive they make you wait another 45. When asked, they say "it is what it is". Some of the things they have said include "this is how our chef cooks", when complained about a spider and coakroach they said "we know". I was pregnant and craved a particular starter in their menu, used to go every week on Wednesday. One Wednesday it came as a curry instead of starter, when asked they said "it's how we make it". You may ask why I have gone a couple of times, because sometimes it is the only closest restaurant I can go to.

Easily the best Indian food my partner and I have ever had! We just moved to the area yesterday and chose this place for a much needed dinner and we were not disappointed. This will be a staple for us from here on out, we cannot stop thinking about it The only bad thing was the Uber Eats driver not delivering our food the first time so we ordered again but that's an Uber Eats problem. I don't have photos because we practically inhaled the food This place is great, thanks for showing us a great welcome to the area with such delicious food!

Earlier I have rated this place a 5 star but changing my opinion as the food, quality and service has gone completely down.. Have ordered chicken 65 biryani for medium spice, and have received a tasteless white rice with some tasteless chicken pieces.. literally no taste at all.. what’s more disappointing is their customer service, we have called to explain what we got and they don’t care.. we had to sleep empty stomach…

An absolute treat for the taste buds! The restaurant serves up a symphony of flavors that will leave you craving more. The staff's hospitality adds an extra layer of satisfaction to the dining experience. We had family pack chicken 65 biryani and the portion sized was great. Price was totally worth it. Highly recommended for everyone.

Chicken 65 biriyani is always a go to of this place. One of the best biriyanis in Brisbane. Their portion size is very generous with lot of chicken. Once you start eating its hard to stop. The raitha they provide is not so great but I could survive without the raitha. This biriyani is a family and friends favourite at our place.

Good value. I got biryani and fried naan, would like to see some more flavour mixed into the biryani though. Not just plain rice with my choice of paneer or meat. Uber prices more expensive than the menu I got with the order? Weird. Could be hotter

I ordered chicken Briyani. They gave me cold. When I called them, the girl even said that sir when I handover you that time Briyani is very Hot. I called them within 5 min. Is it possible within 5 min dish gona be cold. Even when I ordered she ask me wait for 10 min. But she handover me in 2 min. I don't know how they make Briyani in 2 min. I am sure that was leftover food from last day.

I ordered food for the first time and was shicked at the rpice for a curry then when i got my order i had no rice. The lady said rice is extra. Ive never ordered curry and didnt have rice included. $18 for small amount of curry and then another $3 for plain white rice. Expensive and wont be returning. I think this business would have alot more customers of a lunch time if they added a lunch special of 50/50 rice and curry.

  • Satyajit Kadam

Very bad customer service. People on the counter are very rude, with full of false attitude. Never provide food on time. We always order one or two days in advance and have never ever got the food on set time. We always have to wait for 30 - 45 min to get the order. Yesterday we ordered butter chicken family pack, the container was half empty.

They have no respect for customers when asked to shut the doors as it was windy outside, they refused. Plus, if you are free for whole day and no place to stay you can come here they will make you wait for forever but make sure you bring your own food as what they gonna serve you won’t eat it at all. Anyways enjoy your days thanks.

Amazing, superb food, will definitely recommend it. We ordered chicken tikka masala, saffron rice, plain naan and papad. Everything was super delicious, and portions are rich. Rating is 9/10 Because when we entered and sat down nobody came to us taking the orders, but then asked one employee that we must go and order from the counter. Otherwise the staff are very friendly and polite.

  • Dhina Chandra

I guess sometime they use reused oil (more than accepted level) for all starters like chicken 65 and Gobi Manchurian. Either it doesn't get digest easily or it takes many hours to get digest than normal home food. If they reduce food colors it's good.

My go to place for biryani. I have tried most of the Indian restaurants and nothing beats this one. I have tried all the curries and the biryani and it was amazing. This time I gave an eid party to my colleagues at work. They all loved it especially since all of them are mostly aussies so I am glad it was not too spicy. Thank you so much cafe hyderabad. You did really well.

I had high hopes as i love indian food but then i got bad food poisoning. it wasn’t pretty and i feel so disgusted with the fact i got food poisoning and how bad their kitchen must operate in terms of cleaning/cooking as i’ve only ever had food poisoning once and it was due to a messy/unsanitary kitchen and undercooked meat…

Good taste and quantity, ordered a Goat Biryani family pack - which came with chicken 65 toppings and good amount of rice and meat, serves 6-8 ppl easily and it cost $60. They take 60-90mins to prepare the food, pls do call to place the order and collect them later. If you are looking for dine-in , prepare yourself to wait for 30-40mins to get the order.

Really bad service. We ordered family pack Butter chicken and got. Chicken was half container and. Goat was little less too. Called the shop he is giving excuse saying the got contain Bon, onion and capsicum that is why it is more than chicken. He didn't want to accept that he gave us less curry.

One of the worst restaurants in town. I order malai kofta, first they said they are all out then they said yes we have it. The small koftas were made out of bread and were so chewy. I wasted my money. I would have definitely returned the dish if I was dining in but this was a take away. Disgraceful

First impressions: Flavoursome food, generous serving sizes, well priced. We had Chicken 65 Biryani and a paneer curry and garlic naan. The garlic naan tasted like it was cooked in a wood fired oven (yum) and we were very happy with all the food. Looking forward to coming back here soon! More
