First, I wanna say that the team is absolutely responding to the reviews on here if any of the negative reviews were true. None of the issues I read are still present. One review mentions being unable to spot the health inspection score which is plainly posted above the drink pickup desk. Our food and coffee were great with only one note: our hashbrowns weren't salted or were under salted. I still loved them regardless because I'd all but eat the potato raw, but my partner wasn't a fan because of that. So to whoever said they over-salt them: you're either wrong or they listened to you! Very friendly staff; I believe the owner/manager took our order. Didn't catch his name, but he's a very friendly and energetic person. Wait time wasn't excessive like some people mention. Everything was made to order and the place was busy; I expected double the wait time. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. A place like this almost makes me wanna be a local, but I simply cannot pretend city living is for me. -Liz's plus one

It shouldn't take 30 minutes to make French Toast. I stayed within sight of the sole employee while properly social distancing. 15 minutes in, I was out of sight for one minute (bathroom break). Upon my return, I asked about my order; she said "Oh I looked for you!" I figured my paid-in-advance order was ready. WRONG! She waited on, and completed orders for, at least 5 more customers, one with a food order, others that required using the blender. Once the cafe was empty, she went in back and, due to the amount of time it took her to return, I assume she finally started and finished my order! My coffee is now cold; no offer for a refill, not even an apology. A sole employee should prioritize orders, even if others have to wait. If Cafe Lucia feels this is not appropriate, then they should remove food items that take longer to prepare. Better yet, hire another employee!! The coffee and the French Toast were delicious, but the wait and lack of any apology killed the experience for me. The incident happened 5/18/20 around 10 am. at the 12th Street Midtown location.
Okay…the staff was pretty nice. Now the bad. Menu is by QR code scan only. It failed and there were no backup paper menus. The staff member was not familiar enough with the menu to answer simple questions. They were out of the first two things my wife ordered…then since they were out of chicken we asked to substitute turkey and there was zero willingness or flexibility to do anything that wasn’t exactly as offered on the menu…that we couldn’t see. Having one meat on my omelette was $4 extra. As groups or couples came in they couldn’t even bring drinks at the same time. Even coffees trickled out with huge wait times. My $14 omelette was tiny but better than Waffle House. You are of course faced with how much you want to tip before even seeing your meal while you bus your own table and order at a counter. Since it takes ten trips and 30 minutes to bring out your three coffees I guess you’re paying per mile.
This cafe is so cute and just the right vibe for me. The music selection is fire and the atmosphere is so inviting. The whole set up gives millennials and I love it. I had the lavender latte iced, it was so good didn’t taste fake or artificial not bitter or too sweet. One of the best I’ve had in a while. I also had the classic sandwich with fried egg tomato spinach and cheese on a croissant. Super delicious. I was here at 9am cause I wanted breakfast before my volunteer shift and I wanted coffee and they were literally walking distance from Piedmont and open bright and early. The staff is super friendly and service is fast. This will be my new spot Saturday mornings.

Semi-hidden cafe in midtown near Piedmont park. It's on a "side street" and doesn't feel like part of the busier city area. They were only serving sandwiches when I went (bummer, was hoping to try the egg bowl!). The dark roast drip was very standard coffee, but the strawberry lemonade was really yummy. Reminded me to fresh-squeezed state fair lemonade. The Garden sandwich and the Classic sandwich were both a lot better than I expected them to be! The classic sandwich had a nicely baked, buttery croissant around a simply egg and cheese melt. The garden sandwich (largely due to the unique hummus blend) was very savory and the covering naan helped keep it together. Super recomend this cafe for the food over the drinks!

So the latte I ordered was super tasty. But I used the restroom and soap and paper towels were out. So was hand sanitizer at the front. I mentioned it to the barista and he just said the soap was done by a 3rd party and he couldn’t do anything about it. There were also no straws for iced drinks when the lids require straws, he just shrugged. He seemed exasperated by having to answer the same question repeatedly, but at some point as a small business you have to take responsibility for your own materials. The restroom and corners around the banquets were quite dirty. This cafe was well rated, so I was hoping for a good experience and always prefer local places over chains, but they weren’t keeping up with cleanliness and stocking standards while I was there.

In every town I visit, I always try to find that coffee spot where I can just sit, sit on my coffee, and enjoy a small bkfast meal. I found this nice spot centered in the midtown area. Cafe Lucia not only has some really good coffee, exceptional service, ambiance, and staff. It also has the "Dirty Bird," If you are a lover of pesto, this menu option is for you. I highly recommend this spot, the Barista was a good host.

Cute little low key spot for coffee or a quick breakfast/lunch bite. Despite the bad reviews we enjoyed our order and it came out quickly. Interesting vibe on a Sunday as there’s some drinking (full bar) and others doing work in surround tables/couch. Something for everyone I guess! Honeybee was a little tooo sweet for me but my husband found it delcious. Americano was decent as well. We had the garden veggie sandwich on naan which was also yummy, but had raw onions and peppers which wasn’t what we expected but still good! Just a few mins walk from the park so will keep it in mind for lazy weekend days!

I didn’t want to believe the negative reviews but unfortunately we had a similar experience on a Sunday morning. We came to pick up breakfast on our way to an appointment. We asked about the wait time for food upon ordering and were told 10-15 minutes. We ordered a smoothie and sandwich around 9:30 and by 10:05 still did not have either. We informed them we would have to leave due to the appointment time, and they were able to make the smoothie but not the sandwich so unfortunately we still left hungry. We were refunded for the sandwich. I feel for the staff because they looked very stressed. If we had received an upfront disclaimer about the food prep time, we would have chosen to eat somewhere else.
I visited this afternoon for a coffee and the barista was absolutely pleasant and friendly! HOWEVER, I did not feel comfortable with the level of sanitation considering Covid-19. The barista was NOT wearing a mask, her gloves looked dirty, the counters were cluttered, there were seats inside where people could stay and linger, and there were plenty of items out like napkins, stir sticks etc., that could be touched by costumers coming and going. It would be easy to make the assumption that this local business has not adhered to the business reopening guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus. I would love to visit again if you step up your sanitation practices to keep our local community safe.
I really wanted to give this a 3 stars, but couldn't justify it. I ordered a hummus sandwich, which comes with lettuce, tomato, on a flat bread, and baby carrots on the side. There was barely any hummus on the sandwich and there were 6 baby carrots on the side... I wanted to try the cold brew and ordered a 10 oz for $3. It came with ice, therefore making it a 5 oz drink. Shouldn't it already be cold and therefore not need ice? The cafe itself was really nice, but I don't get why all these corners were cut. It was just really annoying. It would have been 5 stars if just a little more effort were put into that sandwich, and if I were given a full 10 oz (as advertised) of coffee instead of 5 oz.
my friend and I were walking the beltline for a morning walk and decided to grab some breakfast and stumbled upon Cafe Lucia. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and we decided to grab outdoor seating because it was early enough that the Georgia humidity hadn’t ruined the day quite yet. Immediately walking in I was greeted with the owner and the staff as if we’ve know what each other for years. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! We got breakfast sandwiches and everything is made fresh to order. It was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back to try out all the different coffees and drinks. :)

We could not have felt less welcome by the person working up front. It seemed like our presence was a burden to her from the start. The sandwiches were excellent, no skimping on quality, but it did take 45 minutes to receive three sandwiches and one soup, even though it was not busy and we were behind only one other person in line. One customer did ask the front person whether they had a particular soup in stock, and they said yes, only to find out 40 minutes later that they actually did not have it. Just seemed amazingly inefficient and like the front person resented our business. Really disappointed since the food was good and I live so close.
Dropping my review down from a 5-star, to a 2-star. Mainly due to service, I come here several times a week, and I have been consistently disappointed lately. E.g., the place has very few people and it takes 40 minutes to get my breakfast order, at which, I have been looking at an empty coffee cup for 10min or I am the only one in the spot on a weekday and I order a coffee, sit outside and the worker just puts the coffee on the counter, doesn't bother to bring it out or even announce.

First time we came here a year ago on a Sunday was nice, food was good and service was seamless. This Sunday, they were out of absolutely everything and blamed it on it being a Sunday and using everything up on Saturday. Wait staff was impatient and rude and seemed to somehow expect us to know that they were out of everything we asked for, despite there being no notices or signs about low inventory in multiple items. Bummed that this experience ruined our opinion of the restaurant and we will not be returning.

Everything was very delicious. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, hash browns and the red velvet cake and it was the very best I have ever ate to date. Service was timely. My only slight hang up was the customer service it was some what very impersonable. Most quaint little coffee shops the workers/ owners have engaging personalities. This one definitely has some areas of improvement to work towards. I came on a recommendation of a friend and made a special trip to try the food (which was good) but I would only probably visit again if I’m in the area. Which is rare but I would come again under those circumstances.
Great little coffee shop! We were visiting Atlanta and found this place near our hotel. The coffee had a fantastic flavor and they had lots of options for flavored lattes. I got an almond toffee nut latte with almond milk and my s/o got white chocolate hazelnut with whole milk. I also love that they have some good food options which is hard to find in small coffee shops. They have options to build your own sandwich or omelet. I got an omelet with peppers, onions, and tomatoes and my s/o got a grilled cheese which he says is one of the best he’s had. We would definitely be frequent visitors if we lived there!
UPDATE: Went back. This time I called ahead and was greeted on the Delphine by a super kind and helpful voice. Got my sammy and a delicious latte. Cam, who said she just started working there last week, was awesome and I will for sure be back. Just wasted half of my work break walking here to be told “we close in an hour so I turned the grill off” If that is your policy it would be awesome if you could share that somewhere on the site of the google listing. Most restaurants and even coffee shops stop serving food 15 min before closing. Or at least communicate it with a little bit of thoughtfulness.
The breakfast sandwiches here are absolutely fantastic. I 'The Garden' which comes with eggs, tomato, feta, spinach, peppers, onion, and hummus on naan. I highly recommend! I washed it down with a dark roast coffee. I also really enjoyed the coffee. The staff were very friendly. The seating is cute and there is lots of greenery outside the window. It a really nice place to get a bit of work done too! The bar looks well stocked as well, it looks like it would be really nice to visit in the evening!

I went to the restaurant today for a cup of coffee and stood and waited for the service. No one came out of the kitchen.I could hear a conversation coming from the back room between two people no one came out so I left. Also I was there last week and same thing happened and had to step to the kitchen to get the service. The music in the restaurant was so loud that it was hard to hear anything else there. I thought I would give this place another chance since I live across the street from it and wanting to support a local business. I don’t think I would go back to it again.
We came across this place when walking around downtown and wanted coffee and breakfast. There was one person working and the line quickly became very long. Though there was a wait, it was worth it because I had the best coffee I’ve had in a while. My husbands white chocolate mocha and my friends latte were also delicious. My daughters hot chocolate was the best she said she’s had. Our breakfast sandwiches were fresh and amazing!!

Really want this little shop to succeed but unfortunately I have had too many strikes. Not one to usually write a review but ever since the original owner moved several months ago, service seems to be on the decline. There have been three times where I have entered the shop and waited at the front for service, can hear employees talking in the kitchen but uncomfortable with either raising my voice to get their attention or obviously going behind the register to get them -perhaps a bell at the front or ring when you enter would help solve this issue.
I really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt but its honestly just overall terrible. I went to this place last week and all the employees and THE MANAGER had attitudes for whatever reason. I went to get coffee and something for breakfast and I would have been better off going to Mcdonalds. The pastry was disgusting and overpriced ( fyi Sams clubs sells the same pastries for cheaper). I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I heard that they another location somewhere hopefully that one has better customer service and better food.
horrible service. all three of the people working there (a guy with short blonde hair and piercings, a blonde girl and another dirty blonde hair girl) were rude and rolling thier eyes and expressing exasperation withe everything they did. they forgot to put in one of our orders, and we waited almost an hour for our food. Then we find out the order was incorrect. Terrible experience I would this place negative stars if I could. Food is subpar do not recommend.

This place has so much potential - it’s in a great location in Midtown and close to Piedmont Park, decent vibe for visiting or working, but the coffee… The coffee left so much to be desired. I tried to drink it, but sadly had to toss my latte because it was just bad-bad-bad. Between that and the lackluster customer service, I would choose elsewhere. Haven’t tried to food here though so maybe that’s worth a try.

Cafe Lucia is a midtown staple! Now with new management and owners, I can see a difference in the entire atmosphere. I meet my friends there EVERY Friday evening to wind down from the week and catch up for the weekend! Olga (one of the new owners is awesome) will usually sit down and chill with us, and have us cracking up! These are great folks, excellent location, and the drinks are amazing! Definitely recommend to anyone in midtown looking for a cute spot to grab a drink! These ladies will quickly have you returning, becoming a regular!
The food is great and decently priced but you should call and place the order in advance, especially for breakfast during the weekend. Coffee is okay, but the espresso is terrible. If you want a latte, go across the street. Unfortunately there isn't another cafe in Midtown that is as accessible as this, so I'm giving it a 3 stars.

My partner and I each got a sandwich and latte for a casual Sunday lunch. There were plenty of non-pork options available, and both sandwiches were loaded with protein! The bread was fresh and the greens crunchy. Also, the lattes were delicious and came out quickly. Cafe Lucia has a very nice ~vibe~ and we will definitely be back!

Cute space, easy to find and quick walk from hotel. Coffee tasted like it had been sitting in the bottom of a thermos for hours before i got there... i regret getting the biggest they had.... The egg sandwiches i got were quickly made but the vegetables were completely raw inside... looks like they were chopped up by edward scissor hands they were all different sizes and shapes and just haphazardly thrown into a pita with some eggs and sent me on my way. My partner's egg sandwich was simpler and she did seemed to enjoy it.
I really didn’t wanted to leave a bad review but 1 hour and 30 min for 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches? Unbelievable. The place wasn’t event packed. Also have an hour wait they told me the didn’t have the bread for my sandwich, told the waitress it was ok and still waited 30 more minutes. Awful service and management of the situation.

Went on a work day during work hours. They blast music right beside the tables to the point where I couldn't hear my meeting through my own in-ear headphones. The songs dropped the f-bomb and other expletives as well. Definitely not a place you can expect to work from. I moved further away and the volume went up even more, so I eventually just left. I don't know if I'll return if this is how they normally operate. There were maybe 6 people inside, so I am not sure why the music needed to be so aggressively loud.
We tried the sweet potato pancakes, hash browns, coffee, and ham croissant. The pancakes were delicious, but the hash browns were excessively salty and the croissant was burnt. The cafe has a charming atmosphere, but it was disappointingly dirty. We noticed bugs near the windows and had to clean our own table. The restroom was extremely dirty, with hairs in the sink, and the floors were sticky. Overall, the experience was mixed due to cleanliness issues.

Walked a few minutes from the Hilton Hotel to Cafe Lucia expecting to have a great breakfast, so disappointed. Waited for 25 minutes for two omelettes, order came wrong, toast instead of bagel I ordered, two eggs instead of three, overcook and salty. Would not recommend if you are in the area. Cappuccino was fine, not the best in town as claims on the business information.

Look, the place is in a great location, it's tucked away and has some personality to it, but the way it operates is just painful. I live right around the corner and the 3 times I've been here, it took about 10-15 mins for a coffee and also around 30 mins to get a bagel sandwich (including the muffin sitting right by the register!). I love that this stuff is made in real-time but they need way more staff. I also think some of the staff makes you feel unwelcome. It's a shame but it's unlikely I return here.
I greatly appreciate having this hidden gem so close to my office. It has everything I would need: good coffee and lots of interesting latte combinations, an extensive breakfast and lunch sandwich menu, reasonable prices and specially curated cocktails. They have Happy Hour deals on Friday and Pinot for Paws where you can buy wine and a portion of the proceeds support dog adoptions. They also have ice cream! I could go on and on but this place truly has almost anything you could ask for
What a cute shop! The owner was the sweest lady. She was the only one working and still had me and my 4 other friends food out within 15 minutes. I asked for an omlette with a crossiant and she didn't even charge me for the crossiant and added apples in my to go box. I thought it was the sweetest thing ever and even know I got it to go she walked over to the cutlery and brought it back for me just to be nice- food was great and I will deifntley be back in future trips to Atlanta.
I’ve been here numerous times and am yet to have a decent experience. First off, their employees are very rude. Their website says the open at 7 AM but the employees will argue to her grave that it says 8 AM, so they will only open at 8 AM. They only have at maximum 2 employees, so it takes ages for them to even take your order. If you’re lucky enough to have your order taken, congratulations! Now comes the fun part of waiting over 30 minutes for your order. Not worth it.
We were in Atlanta for Music Midtown and ‘found’ Cafe Lucia for breakfast. It was so good we went all three mornings we were in town, far superior to the normal hotel food. Their omelette is excellent. As food is made to order at times one may feel the wait is a little longer than one is used to, but this is not a fast food establishment and well worth the few minutes extra. Staff are very welcoming. I recommend stoping by. They are open for lunch and in the evening too.
I had family in from out of town for my daughter’s wedding. We all met at Cafe Lucia for breakfast the morning after. There were 22 of us!! The manager never gave it a second thought to help me arrange outside tables and welcome everyone. He was very friendly and accommodating!! Food was good, service was great! If you’re in the area, definitely recommend stopping by!!

Awards!!! I strolled in hungry at an off-hour and ordered from the chalkboard menu. The specific meat/cheese/bread combo I asked for wasn’t readily available, but no fear. Normal service is extremely slow for simple cafe sandwiches that are pretty much fully cooked before assemble. Also, training new employees during peak breakfast hours and using that as an excuse for poor service is unsatisfactory. I also had a hard time locating the health score and business licensing information upon my visit either. Hopefully the manager will remedy these issues soon.

Cafe with some potential. You should only come for coffee and basic food. Even though they have a very good looking menu, none of their employees know how to make anything on it, especially the cocktails. Have been 5-6 times where they were closed when they should have been open. Have seen employees lounging around inside with the doors locked not letting people in at noon on a Wednesday. Management needs to train employees better.
The coffee here is pretty good, but I’ve ordered here about 6 times now. And my order has been incorrect for each of those. They leave toppings off the sandwich each time, or overcharge for items, or “substitute” ingredients without asking. For example this hummus sandwich was supposed to come with goat cheese, lettuce, and tomato and be served cold- instead I got a hot hummus wrap that’s just inedible. A rip off for nearly $7.00
Had a dentist appointment across the street end around lunch time so ventured over to Cafe Lucia to try it out for the first time! What a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere is perfect and just what I have been looking for from a local coffee shop to switch to from Starbucks. Olivia made me the best macchiato and BLT... The fact that I got 2 pickles, one for each half of my sandwich, literally made my day! It's the little things :)
My friends and I love Cafe Lucia. We happened upon it one Friday night on our way to another bar in the area and was welcomed in by the owners and other patrons outside. We have been going back ever since. Great drinks, great food, great vibe. And the prices aren’t bad either. Super chill spot to link up with friends, pregame, or just chill for the night. I highly recommend this spot. Very welcoming for all!
The service is the worst. The food took almost an hour to come out. By the time the food came out, I was still missing part of my order. They didn't seem understaffed, so I'm not sure why such a long wait. The food itself was just ok. The bagels tasted fine but the hash browns were barely cooked.

Waited 40 minutes for our sandwiches that were finally cancelled. No apologies were provided, we were told that there is only one person at the kitchen so it’s a delay. Please make sure while ordering that the food will be served at a reasonable time. We tipped them $ 8 wile ordering, regretting it as we left very offended and unsatisfied. We did receive our coffee which was good.
I have to say that food was delicious, but they need to have another employee at the counter . There was only one person doing her best but it’s impossible at peak time to take orders and make the coffees . Takes too long.

Literally JUST left and I ordered an egg, turkey sausage and cheese croissant & a Cheese, spinach, mushroom and turkey bacon omelette... I watched her write it down and all that. I just don’t understand...pay attention lady!
Quality service, great menu, quaint spot and good food! I’ve been here a couple times and have had great experiences. ALWAYS a great time. Food cooked to order with love. Outdoor seating perfect for your laptop or dog. Great coffee. I always get a turkey sandwich when I go! Great pesto. Good cocktails, mimosas, and beer choices. Live events and weekly happenings. Daily theme. Everyone loves the owner. Recently renovated! Has bar seating now as well. Great custom service!
Been coming here before for coffee/breakfast but girlfriend and I popped in with our pup for a glass of wine and a hummus plate after work on a Friday. Great vibe to head into the weekend with a relaxing atmosphere. New management is great too - will definitely do it again!

Love this place! Super chill coffee spot with some nice jazz music. Employees are always nice and welcoming. And it’s right by Piedmont Park so it’s a great spot. Definitely recommend!

Busy lil place on a somewhat residential street very close to Piedmont Park. I visited mid morning on the Friday of a holiday weekend. Charming young staff. (Professional perspective: bar area could use some reorganization). I had an Americano and a croissant. Both were fine.

i love this place and the staff, but recently every time I go it’s been a 20-30 min wait for a coffee I just felt bad for the guy doing everything by himself up front while it was busy. I don’t want to stop coming here but 30 min for a coffee is roughhh - leaving this review in hopes of a change

So the the food is really good at Cafe Lucia, however you have to wait almost 30 minutes to get it as they are usually understaffed. As a cafe style place you would expect you food to be quick. Also, don't attempt to make a pick-up order as it's not prioritized and you'll still be waiting another 30 minutes when you arrive.
Good food. TOOK WAY TOO LONG. We waited 45 minutes for one of our sandwiches. (Only a bacon egg and cheese). Then another 15 minutes for the second meal to come out (an omelet... it was ridiculous. We are only here visiting and the last thing we wanted to do on our last day in Atlanta was wait over an hour for food...
Pretty cool spot for a nice cup of coffee and a dessert. The scone I ordered was cinnamon flavored and the person behind the counter heated it up. It was super moist and delicious. The coffee was made perfectly. The atmosphere in this place is well suited to get some work done, read, or just chat with some friends.
New owners are wonderful! Food is great and they provide an excellent atmosphere. I live next door and avoided this place with the older ownership due to rude staff. In fact, I asked the new owner if there was new ownership because I was so surprised by the new hospitality. I have been multiple times sense.
Got two BLT‘s on croissants here today, what I got were two dried up, seemingly old croissants for 19 $. Complete rip off and definitely not worth the money. First & last time there, there are wayyy better options in Midtown.

Absolutely love this cafe. Great food and coffee, and the owner/employees are always friendly and helpful. With reliable WiFi and a decent amount of tables for a cafe, it’s a great spot to work. There are plenty of coffee options to chose from and I haven’t ordered something I dislike. Definitely recommend
I don’t get how this place can get a good review. Service was too slow, orders came wrong, smoothie was a mix of ice and juice, bagel and croissant were not fresh-probably from a grocery store- and the price we paid was too high! Total waste of money! Never come back again

They were out of eggs on a Sunday morning which eliminated half the menu. They forgot our drinks twice. They forgot half our food order. They had an 82 health score that we noticed after we ate.

Every time I go to this place, I wait at the counter for anyone to help me at least 5 minutes. The person is in the back making food. Same person does everything…… making food, making coffees and drinks, and management of pay. You will wait 10 minutes minimum, even if you only want to buy a coke to go.
Excellent local cafe! Openly prideful ️ and a relaxing interior. This cafe moves from a cozy coffee shop in the morning to an intimate club in the later hours, offering a full bar. I spent the morning here writing and am happy to have found a nice local place to enjoy a coffee while I write. …
Stopped in here for coffee in the evening and enjoyed it. Wife and I reach got an iced coffee. Plenty of options that you would expect a coffee shop to have. Indoor and outdoor seating, wine and alcohol specials as well. Wednesday had $15 bottles and $5 glasses of wine.

Very delicious food and smoothies. My party of 3 got pur food in about 40 minutes. The wait was long, as the sign at the counter forewarned, but the food was made to order and tasted wonderful. Best plan would probably be to order a drink to have while you wait for the food. It was worth the wait.
I can’t rate the food because the employees were so busy talking to each other, they forgot to prepare my sandwich. An employee is occupying 2 bar stools for some reason. Overall not inviting or well run

This is the perfect little spot to unwind, no matter what you’re in the mood for! Every flavor coffee you could imagine, a full bar, delicious baked goods, and great food- they have it all! The environment is very friendly and warm and the staff are all super kind and helpful. HIGHLY recommend!
Solid coffee and decent food. You can expect this place to be consistent in quality. It isn’t incredible but a solid place to become a regular. Some cons are that the price is maybe 10% more expensive than similar shops near by and the music is always too loud. But I would recommend it.
Their lattes are usually overpowered by too much syrup. The chai latte may have been the blandest latte I’ve ever had. Larakin, coffee place across the street, has much better coffee and breakfast food

Worst lattes I’ve every had. Ordered 3 different latte’s and not a single one came out fine. All 3 were over extracted shots of espresso . Putting 3 stars instead of 1 because the cookie I ordered was good

The coffee here is super good, and they have a wide variety of specialty drinks. Their menu was simple but had a nice range of options. The atmosphere is great and the walkability makes it a great spot for breakfast in Midtown

The iced coffee is slightly overpriced for what it is, especially when compared to the price of the americano - and they just add ice! I also ordered my coffee to stay, and I wasn't tolk that they were closing 10 minutes later. I would not have ordered then if I had known.
Café Lucia is a very nice, quaint little place that's perfect for relaxing. It's also very quiet, so it's a great place to study and work. As for the drinks, I really enjoy the teas and coffee. The iced drinks are refreshing when its hot, and the coffees have good flavors.
Great coffee, staff was very friendly, and clean. I also had bottomless mimosas and it was amazing! We came from Miami, Florida where it’s $25 person and here it’s $16 person. I could do without the Boar’s Head umbrellas but everything else makes the place feel so chill.
Love this hidden gem! Great coffee, smoothies, and drinks too! But it’s the super friendly people that make it extra special! With people (and often their dogs) always enjoying the outside space, it really helps make the street into a cool neighborhood. ❤️ …
My egg bowl was missing 2 ingredients AND the veggies were undercooked. My husband's hasbrown bowl was similarly undercooked and with very little flavor. The service was good but I would not come back here.

Stopped in for a coffee, noticed on the menu they had expresso martinis! Needed up staying here for two hours. Staff was great and very helpful. Will definitely be coming back. Only flaw is parking but in midtown you can walk to this establishment with no problem.
Good place to work from, but I had a lot of grit in the my espresso shot which I did not enjoy.

Discourteous service; they were indifferent at the fact we had been waiting 30 mins for a breakfast sandwich that should take five minutes to make. We requested a refund and won’t be back. Left there with an empty stomach having wasted a whole bunch of time.
I just moved here and live near this cafe in midtown. It is so amazing! The food is always fresh and wonderful, music is always good, environment is inviting and the staff are always so kind!!! I come for coffee, drinks and food! Definitely recommend!
Cute little place, however I won't be back. Wait was insane, food took a while, and the cook that came and asked what we wanted on our omelet was rude. Food was just alright. Just not worth the wait.

A conveniently located place with great food and a wide variety of great drinks and specials! Everything I got was way better than I expected, super friendly atmosphere and great service! (I would absolutely recommend the turkey pesto sandwich)
What a lovely neighborhood café! It has your usual casual fare such as croissants and sandwiches in addition to a broad array of adult libations. I had a cherry tea with a dash of whiskey. It was sublime. The owner, is an absolute jewel.
Breakfast sandwich was delicious and the latte I ordered was great as well.

The food and coffee are delicious and the staff is very sweet. My only complaint would be the speed at which you get your food and drinks. Unfortunately the staff seems so over extended and it takes a really really long time to get anything.
Me and my wife are pretty picky when selecting a coffee place. Most of the negative reviews expressed frustration when ordering food. But we were just getting coffee. The coffee was really good. Nice specialty selection and standard prices.
Prices don't matct the website, was given a discount but it still wasn't the same. Gave me dirty fruit? And now my stomach is upset. Got a refund. Disappointed in my experience overall.

Would give this zero stars. I asked for the garden sandwich with no feta. I repeated myself to the cashier multiple times. Got a sandwich with feta. Returned it. They made another ALSO WITH FETA. Ummmmm. Ok. Not coming back here again.
